Chapter 195 - A MIRACLE SILVER WOLF

194. Tamia's POV

We took that vacation we so needed shortly after Kira and Aurora came back.

We had found out that I was pregnant that night and it was exactly the same age as Aurora's; two months.

That was confirmed the following day when we visited the hospital.

The doctor laughed at me for I was a wolf and I was so clueless because, apparently, at two months, I should have been able to hear the baby’s heartbeat.

But even if I had heard it, I wasn’t sure that I would have been able to know it was a pup growing in me.

And the fact that Aurora and I were pregnant at the same time meant that our babies would be age mates.

I was so excited that I could not hide it.

It was Killian who was holding me because that night, I wanted to go back to the hall and tell Aurora and Kira that they were going to be aunt and uncle again.

Aurora was over the moon when she found out.

They told me that this would be the largest their family would ever be even in history as far as they could remember.

That was why Killian insisted on another vacation and we were currently sipping coconut water to beat the heat of the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa.

Yes, we had come to Africa again.

We were to be on a two month vacation too and it wasn't like we were doing it because Aurora and Kira had done it.

No.

We were doing it because I really felt that my body needed it.

I never got to rest when I was pregnant with the boys and I think this will do me good.

All we did every single day was sleep, eat, sleep again, Killian would force me to exercise a little bit, I then would take a bath, sleep and then wake up to eat and then sleep again and that was it.

I rarely went out but since I had gone there as a tourist, I didn't want to regret why I didn't go around and so, after two weeks of just lazing about and being a vegetable, I decided to see the place.

The first thing we did was the ocean.

This is much bigger and more expensive than even the sea where we come from.

The first day, we went on a boat and visited all the islands on that side of the Indian Ocean and we spent the night in these beautiful little huts built on this one island.

From the outside, they looked like they were run down but once one got inside, it was like passing through a magic door that would transport one to a different world.

They were so cozy and had everything one would require from electricity to phone and Wi-Fi connection and even a bathtub.

I used the nice smelling shampoo bottles provided and soaked in the bath for an hour.

I just wanted to get lazy because I knew it would be work as usual once we went home.

The following morning, after breakfast, we went to do a water sport called a Dhow Safari.

At first, I had doubts and reservations about the sport but two minutes in the boat had me screaming with joy.

The sport involved taking long safaris in the water in a speed boat whose engine would be turned off and we needed to row.

There were six people per boat and it was so enjoyable.

We only turned on the engines when it was time to go back after going for more than ten kilometers into the waters where we couldn't see anything but water on all sides.

We then went snorkeling the following day in these beautiful clear waters at Diani beach.

It looked like a natural aquarium due to how surreal it looked.

I was a good swimmer and this sport was one of my favorites.

We also did fishing with rods and then went deep sea fishing with professional fishermen and their big boats.

We also had a one fire fish grilling session and all those activities that make traveling worth it.

Two months went by in a flash and I even learnt some Swahili words while I was there.

I didn't even want to go home because I was home.

I wanted us to buy our retirement home here.

That was an idea that I would tell Killian later because if I were to mention it before we left, he would buy it then and there.

When we came back home, Aurora's pregnancy, just like mine, was a little bit visible and she was even more active than we left.

"Tamia, I have been preparing for your wedding while you were away.

I want you to get married at Silvermoon as quickly as you guys can because I am tired of answering questions," she said the following day after we arrived as we were having breakfast.

The boys were so big now and they could make full sentences.

We had also introduced them to normal food since they were wolves and the earlier they learnt the better.

They hadn't even missed us a lot because they had their aunt and uncle to spoil them.

Ares said he had missed me just a little bit and showed the size with his little thing and index finger.

I had pretended to be sad and he said that he was just joking.

It was all so nice to have a loving family.

True to what Aurora had said, she had literally prepared everything and all we had to do was set a date and the oracle gave us one when the moon would be full.

Ours had to wait since we wet the leaders of the pack for the blessed quarterly full moon because we had to mate before everyone so as to bless the pack.

That was the reason why the wolves of Silvermoon so wanted for us to get married there.

We stayed in a Midnight pack for two weeks and then we flew to Silvermoon.

We took the babies with us and that was why we couldn't use the road.

After getting to the Silvermoon Pack, serious preparations for the wedding that was drawing near started.

Each pack had their own way of performing a royal wedding and as such, we let the women of the pack take the lead.

They said that they wanted to thank me in return for what I had done.

"Though we know you did it because you are our queen, we can't help it but say thank you," they said and by that they meant pooling their resources together and preparing a signature traditional wedding for us.

This meant that I wouldn't be wearing the wedding gown Aurora had prepared but she was okay with it.

"You never know, we might want to renew our vows ten years from now.

So, I will keep it safe," she had said when I told her.

"No. Why don't you just return it?

That is a hundred and twenty thousand dollars," I had argued and after a long argument, she agreed to return it with regrets to the shop.

This designer would not feel bad seeing that we had given him a lot of business previously.

The women of Silvermoon also offered to cook and that meant that we would not have to hire a catering company.

"We will do everything for that day.

All you and the king have to do is show up and look beautiful for us," they had said and I had agreed because I wouldn't rain on their efforts that were meant as good for us.

And I realized how much effort they had put when the day arrived.

The traditional dresses Killian and I were to wear were made from handmade silk and every thread had been made by hand.

Killian's was a robe in royal purple and mine was a small skirt and a bra held together with strings and an upper chiffon dress that showed all that was underneath in royal blue.

We were to walk barefooted because that was the culture.

Killian had a whisk that was made from the tails of all the kings who had ever ruled.

I hadn't known that there was such a thing and that was when the oracle told us that we also would be required to add our tail furs to the whisk and it would be done when we turn during the mating.

The venue was in the forest.

That was where everything was to happen.

There were no seats or any furniture.

The only thing that was foreign there was the platform where everything was to happen.

Killian and I were to stand on the platform and perform all the rituals including our mating there.

There were no lights as the light from the moon and our night vision would suffice.

This was something I had never seen and I loved the fact that I was at the center of it.

It was finally the day and as usual, the warriors would exchange shifts to make sure that everyone attended and saw it.
