Chapter 187 - A MIRACLE SILVER WOLF

186. Aurora's POV

When I went to visit the venue they had prepared for the wedding during the day, I thought it was beautiful and I even shed tears.

I had thought it was a slice of heaven by then but now, it looked like the way I envisioned paradise to look like.

What I had not known was that they had made it in a way that at night, the lights would amplify everything giving it an aurora of pinkish hue that was made even more beautiful by butterflies that were flattering around in silence.

Everywhere I looked, there were petals too.

At first, I thought they were roses since that is what most people use but a closer inspection told me they weren’t.

You can imagine my amazement when I stopped at the doors waiting for Killian to walk me to the dais, when I realized that the petals were all cherry blossoms.

Cherry fucking blossoms!

I was frozen in place and didn't know what to do or say.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Tamia, who was holding my gown, asked.

"Yeah. Yea. Yes. I am okay.

Are these cherry blossoms?" I asked so as to be sure.

"Yeah, they are.

Don't you like them?" Tamia asked back after answering.

I guess she was mistaking my happy face with a sad one seeing that tears were about to fall and I was fighting to keep them in.

"Thank you. Thank you so much," I told her in my answer.

I didn't want to cry but this was too overwhelming.

After Killian came to tell us that they were ready and that Kira was already waiting in the hall, he went to get the boys.

Those two were the ones to carry the rings that Kira and I were to exchange.

In a wolf's wedding, there was no need of exchanging wedding bands but we thought it necessary.

They were for us.

Killian returned carrying the two and put them on the ground.

"Aty, (aunt beautiful)," Apollo said as he smiled up at me.

"Thanks baby," I said as I bent to kiss them both.

They were wearing mini pink suits like their dad and they were so adorably cute.

"Ready?" Killian asked me as he tucked a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

"Not sure," I answered truthfully.

"Breathe. Take your time.

Today is your big day little sis and you have to enjoy it," he said and hugged me.

Killian rarely showed his emotions and this meant a lot.

I was so glad that he was my brother because I didn't think that I could have done a lot of things without him.

He had been my father and mother after our parents died and he protected me with all he had even before he became king.

I loved him.

"I love you and thank you," I said, still holding him.

"I love you too and there is no need of thanks between us and you know it," he said and this was my brother and not the king.

"Okay! Phew! Ready," I said as I broke the hug.

Maybe that was all I needed to pump me up.

"Killian rang a bell I didn't know where he got it from and gave me his hand.

I wound my right hand on his left elbow and smooth violin music started playing in the hall.

The big doors were slid open and my eyes fell on the most beautiful scene I have ever seen.

I didn't know if those were real butterflies and fireflies but they were flying all over the hall and they were of different colors.

The pink lights made them shine as they flew here and there and the fireflies made the lights twinkle.

The flower petals were scattered all over and there were two little girls in front of me spreading more as we walked.

The whole gathering stood up and they all turned towards us.

What gave me strength was the fact that Tamia was at my rear with the boys, Killian was by my side and Kira was at the dais waiting.

He looked dashing in the tuxedo.

He had on those old fashioned tuxedos with a tail and a big belt and all.

The jacket was made to look like a military style at the front with a long tail at the back and the pants had a belt where he tied the sword by his left side.

Even the scabbard was pinkish.

I had told him that he could use any other color he liked as long as it rhymed with the pink theme but I guess they decided to do it all to my specifications.

Their shirts were white but the tuxedos were all a raspberry hue.

He looked majestic and handsome.

Killian and I walked to the tune of the music and that was when I turned and looked at the band.

I almost peed myself because of joy.

Once again, Tamia had outdid herself.

She seemed to have kept the details of our conversations in mind.

It’s in passing when we would be talking when I would mention how I loved cherry blossoms and that I would visit Asia when I can just to see them after winter.

I sometimes would listen to a band play and say, "they are good but can't play better than Hot Mess," that was my favorite band and I didn't know how she had got them to play at my wedding and such.

This wedding, Tamia had made sure, was about me.

It was like I was the one who had selfishly made it my own without thinking of other people.

We walked to the dais and stopped below the two steps and Kira bowed to us then came down the two steps and stood before us.

"My king, princess," he knelt on one knee and looked at Killian.

It was like he was waiting for any order he would be given.

He looked as though he would kill himself at that moment if Killian so demanded of him.

"Kira, you are the most suitable man who I can trust with taking care of my sister.

As you know, she is number one in this family.

So, before you agree, think if you are ready to face the consequences if you ever hurt her," Killian said and I pinched him on the hand.

How dare he threaten my husband during my wedding?

And to top it, he was using his alpha voice.

He looked at me and smiled, "I just want to make sure that my baby sister will be in good hands," he said and looked back at Kira who was still kneeling.

"My king, I love princess Aurora more than my own life.

This means that I would die first before I let her go through any kind of pain.

I give my life as guarantee that if I ever hurt her, may I lose it," he said and I gasped.

How could he make such an offer?

Didn't he think what I would feel if he ever died?

I wondered but then again, thinking about it, it meant that he loved me so much that he was willing to die to protect me.

I would also gladly give my life if it meant keeping his. I guess if he was a fool in love, I was as foolish as he was.

I smiled at him and Killian let go of my hand.

"I think that is a good bargain.

You can take her and be good to him too," he said to me in a small voice but what was a small voice in a room full of wolves?

I kissed Killian on the cheek and then gave my hand to Kira and pulled him up.

He then held it gently and helped me up the stairs and we stood at the middle of the platform and waited.

Killian helped Tamia and the boys up and then they walked and stood by our sides.

Tamia and Apollo by my side and Killian and Ares by Kira's side.

I looked at the hall and appreciated that everyone would leave what they were doing to come and celebrate with us.

Other than our wolves, they had all been invited, we had other invited guests from outside.

Mostly, they were from those packs which had good relations with ours.

Manohar was there with his wife.

He was so worried after the incident with Logan because he thought that we would blame him and he was so happy when it was all resolved.

There were other alphas and those who had been unable to make it had sent their bettas and other representatives.

The hall was packed and it meant the world to me and I felt tears sting my eyes.

I didn't know why I was a crying mess but it was my wedding and I was allowed.

Killian looked at the oracle who looked at us.

"Ready?" He asked and I nodded and Kira did too.

The oracle cleared his throat and the whole hall quieted down.

It was my wedding.

I was finally getting married.

I was getting married....

I was getting married...

I couldn't believe that such a day would ever come.

I was finally getting married.

I was happy.

I was grateful.
