Chapter 186 - A MIRACLE SILVER WOLF

185. Auroras POV

After my mate died, I had given up on life.

My brother thought that I didn't know how my mate died and to make sure that he didn't carry that burden with him, I didn't say anything.

Anyhow, I never blamed Killian.

The one I blamed was the one who gave him that curse.

I had seen him go rampage when he was affected and blaming him would have been foolish.

What I didn't have after that was the hope that things would get better when it came to me and relationships.

I never found any man who would suit my taste and to be frank, I was never looking.

All I concerned myself with was helping my brother run the pack as he looked for the solution to his problem.

But who would have known that he would find that solution in the person of one beaten girl whom he had just rescued because his wolf insisted?

When he first came with Tamia, I also didn't think that she would turn out to be the woman she is today.

She's strong and independent and... she is everything a girl would wish to be.

But one thing about Tamia is that she is an angel who doesn't even remember how powerful she is when dealing with those she loves and her subjects.

Sometimes, she even forgets that she is a queen when dealing with people.

Many are the times we remind her and this makes the people love her even more.

I loved her from the first day I saw her and I would have remained her friend even if she would not be my brother's mate.

She was and still is a brilliant wolf.

It was Tamia who first mentioned to me that Kira likes me.

Kira was the perfection of a man.

He was exactly like my brother and the only difference was that he was a beta and my brother an alpha.

He was the man I would have loved to be with but in my mind, there was no way such a perfect man would ever consider being with me.

Thus, I never noticed his feelings towards me because... I think of my low self esteem at that time.

But Tamia made sure that I looked at myself in a better light and slowly, I gained self confidence.

I realized that I was beautiful and I was a princess of one of the most powerful wolf packs.

Tamia and I would always do mind exercises and self uplifting exercises before the mirror every day.

At first, it was weird talking to myself telling me how wonderful and blessed I was and praising myself but after several sessions, I realized that it actually worked.

I started walking with confidence and with my head held high.

Tamia herself was healing from the trauma she had got while at Silvermoon Pack and I wondered how such a small girl could be so positive and so strong.

She was the broken one and yet she was the one helping me to heal from the wounds of losing my parents and my fiancé and my brother being cursed.

It wasn't easy but we did it.

I was the one who approached Kira first and asked him out for coffee in the town.

That was the first day I noticed his love for me as Tamia had pointed out.

"Ar.. Ar... Princess... Sorry, I am so nervous," he said in a small voice as he tried to speak but I heard him due to our good hearing.

"Call me Aurora," I said to him with a smile.

What was strange was that even though Kira and I were always left to be in charge of the pack by my brother every time he went on his mission, we never talked much.

We only talked whenever it was necessary or when he was reporting to me or when I was asking for something.

He always called me princess then because it was always about official duties.

I could see how nervous he was and what he didn't know. I was a mess inside too but I was holding it in because I didn't want to appear strange or weak.

Also, Tamia and I had done our exercises and she had shown me how to behave.

"Have you ever been in a relationship?" I had asked her once.

"No," she had answered.

That was when I had first realized that she was special.

Even if the Goddess hadn't blessed her with the powers, she would still have been special.

She knew how to help each person depending on their problems even without being told.

"Aurora," Kira called, "I just want to tell you that I am very happy that you asked me out.

I would have never mastered the courage though I have wanted to do it for a very long time," Kira said, looking like one cute huge dumpling.

He melted my heart then.

What I knew of him was the warrior who always had a serious expression and I had never seen this cute side of him.

That was when I first opened up my heart to him.

Then Tamia and Kira got busy with the investigations and left the pack and as such, she wasn't around when we fell in love and decided to become official.

But it was all because Tamia came into my life.

She was and still is and will continue being my guardian angel.

She was the sister I never had but who found me.

And now, like all the other times, she has outdone herself with the wedding preparations.

I could see the exhaustion and fatigue in her eyes but she never complained.

All she did was ask me to sleep well and get ready for the wedding. And now, we are here.

It is today.

I don't know how Tamia was able to do it but the venue looks like a slice of heaven.

The flowers and their arrangements are heavenly.

The seats look like they were made just for today because I remember showing Tamia a certain seat on social media and telling her how much I loved it.

It was absolutely gorgeous and we were going to have an open table kitchen.

I felt like screaming when I saw that.

I knew my brother was loaded and he could afford such a feat but I never thought of asking because I thought it would be such a big brother.

But who would have known that Tamia would bring Michelin star chefs to cook at my wedding.

Okay, she succeeded in making me tear up.

She's good.

She succeeded in making me cry even before I said my vows.

This was more than I had hoped for.

She had outdone herself in making sure that all this came together so beautifully.

She hadn't allowed me to come to this side and she had told me that she would only allow me to see it on the d-day.

At first, I had thought that it was because she didn't want me criticizing it but who would have told me that there would be nothing to criticize?

I looked at her with teary eyes and hugged her.

I hugged her tightly and long and I hoped that that hug would convey my emotions.

"If you dare make your eyes puffy I will kill you," she said and I broke the hug and laughed.

"I won't. I am... I'm just so happy," I said, trying to make her understand how I felt.

It was...

I don't even know what to say or how to put it.

At around three in the afternoon, we started the preparations.

I was given a whole body treatment that ended at around six in the evening and then we started makeup.

"Do I really need makeup?" I had complained.

Like her, I rarely wore any makeup.

"For your wedding, yes.

I want you looking like a porcelain doll.

I want you to be the most gorgeous creature in that room.

So, yes," Tamia said as she looked at the girls who were making me up.

One was on my face and the other one on my hair.

After two hours, we were good and it was time to dress up.

The wedding would start at ten and we still had two hours to spare and they were more than enough.

The dress, as we expected, was gorgeous.

It made me look like a fairy and the glass shoes played their part well.

I was ready and so was Tamia.

She was in a pink flowing dress and in simple makeup that didn't overwhelm mine.

She was so considerate as she and made sure that even though we would all be wearing pink, theirs would be low toned.

When my brother came to ask if we were ready, we all were and I was a nervous mess.

"Don't you dare cry.

Not now," Tamia told me but she didn't know just how happy I was that this might finally be here.
