DAY FORTY-TWO

“Aspen!!” Killian called again and this time, he grabbed hold of my hand. I felt even angrier. I got disgusted by his touch on my skin. I wanted to puke, knowing that the same hand had been all over other women for the past two weeks. 

“Let me go. I want to go home.” I said calmly. I deserved a cold shower to calm my head down. 

“It is not what you think. I can explain..” 

“Explain what exactly?” I suddenly interrupted him from speaking. “Am I important enough for you to give explanations to? Do you care that much? I don't even think you do, since you have not been home for two weeks. Two fucking weeks Killian. I was worried about you, but here you are having the fun of your life.” My eyes blazed with anger and I began to regret everything that I had done with him. I gave myself to him but he did not waste any time jumping to another woman. 

“We don't have sex in a bedroom Killian. You have never fucked me in a bed. But you take women there. I know that we are not lovers, but I expected you to respect me. How dare you?” I growled, feeling the need to hit him. The need to slap him. 

“It is not what you think.” Killian calmly said. 

“What exactly is it? You turn feral whenever I go near Luke. And here I was feeling guilty that I kissed Luke. I should have really gone ahead to fuck him.” I told Killian and his eyes suddenly turned feral. Maybe I would text Luke to meet up in a hotel once I left. 

“You kissed him?” Killian growled and I took in a shaky breath. 

“Yes. Just before I came here, I regretted stopping it or feeling guilty afterwards. You are also having fun. Let me go.” Instead of letting me go, he held me tighter and then pulled me close to himself. 

“How dare you kiss Luke?” He hissed in anger. His eyes were bloodshot and Killian looked like he was already picturing Luke’s dead body. 

“How dare you fuck another woman?” I shot back at Killian. 

“I did not fuck her.” He drew out through gritted teeth. 

“Yeah, you didn't. You fucked them. Get your filthy hands off me. You disgust me, Killian Davenport.” I struggled to set free, but he did not let go. If anything, Killian tightened his hold on me. 

“I did not fuck them. This is Damien’s house. He is the one who brought the women here. I did not fuck them. I swear, Aspen. I've not gotten my dick wet since you.” He said and I could see the sincerity in his eyes. But I still did not care. Because he could have gotten his fucking dick wet if I hadn't walked in. 

“And you were on the verge of doing so. Let me go.” I struggled, but Killian did not release me. He held me close and tight. His smell fills my nostrils. I was reminded of that sweet masculine smell and I could feel my body going weak. With need. Fuck that!! I struggled harder. 

“I was not going to fuck her. I've been at Damien's place. And he suggested that I had sex with another woman.” Fucking Damien. “He does not know that we are having sex and feels that we keep the boundaries as contracted couples. That was the only reason why he brought the women and I swear Aspen, I did not touch her. She did not even turn me on and I was never planning on having sex with that woman.” That was good to hear.

“Okay. Great.” I exhaled. “You don't have to explain yourself. We are not lovers. This is only a contract marriage. You can go ahead to have fun if you want. It's nothing.” I flashed a smile at Killian.

“It is something because I cannot have sex with another lady. I've tried and they could not even get me hard. Not when you are always on my mind, Aspen. Just the thought of you gets the job done, sibit fucking matters. And you kissed Luke!!” There was a murderous look in his eyes. 

“I kissed him. He did not kiss me. And I was only trying to confirm something. It was a light peck. Do not hurt him.” I warned Killian that poor Luke would suffer for what he knew nothing about.

“You can let me go now. I want to go home.” Killian released me. I felt a lot better after knowing that he was not having sex with another woman. I knew that he was not lying. 

“It's good to see that you are fine. You look healthy. Keep taking care of yourself. Damien is doing a good job. Have a nice day.” I was already heading for the door when Killian held me back. 

“Are you still angry about that day?” He asked and my brows creased. 

“Angry?” I scoffed. “You are the one who has refused to come home, Killian. You were away from home for two weeks. It does not matter still, we have nothing to do with each other.” 

“What? Sex? You said I was just a hole you used to get off. Have you forgotten what you said and how low you made me feel? We really have nothing. The sex means nothing to you. I was just another means of you getting off and I stupidly fell for it. You don't even take it to the bedroom. Don't stop me again, Kill.” I snapped my hand away from him and then headed for the door. Just kike I had said, he did not stop me again. Nor did he come after me. 

“Let's go,” I said to Brooke, getting into the car. Brooke nodded and got into the driver’s seat. Then he drove off. 

“Is boss coming back?” He asked. 

“I don't know and I don't care.”
