Chapter 45 ~ Relaxation

As I followed Lucan in to the bathroom Alice spoke.
“How do you feel?” she asked
“I feel amazing my friend you have told me for years that our mate would come along some day.” I paused, “To tell you the truth I believed you when we were younger but as the years have gone by, it has gotten harder to believe it over the years and I have grown discouraged.” I advised
“It makes me extremely glad that you are happy, now that we have found our mate.” Alice paused, “However, before we leave to go see the other pack, we need to go and visit our parents.” Alice advised
“Yes, we should, and Lucan will be with us by our side.” I smiled
I was happy but also nervous I hope that my parents will be happy for us. Lucan and I had just entered the bathroom and he turned to look at me.
“What would you prefer more my love a bath or a shower?” Lucan asked
“How about we have a bath love so we can relax our muscles after…” I paused, and blushed “Our love making.” I smiled
“That sounds like a great idea.” Lucan smiled
Luc covered a bench in the bathroom with a towel.
“Sit here Kass while I run the bath water.” Luca spoke
I nodded and sat on the bench and watched Lucan run the bath water while he was busy filling the large whirlpool tub, I admired my mate. Lucan was still in great shape for a man who was forty years old.
“Do you like what you see little one?” Lucan asked
I blushed as Lucan turned around to look at me with a smile on his face and I nodded.
“You do not need to be embarrassed because I noticed you admiring me.” Lucan paused, “I am glad my mate likes what she see’s when you look at me.” He advised
“I am not embarrassed.”
“Then why did you blush when I caught you staring?” Luca asked
“Ok… fine so I was embarrassed but can you blame me this is all new to me being naked in front of someone.”
“Well, that makes sense but how about this…” he paused and grasped my hand pulling me toward him, “Do you know what I see when I look at you?” Lucan asked
“What do you see Luc?”
“Well Kassie I see my mate who is smart, beautiful, kind, loving and strong you my love will be an amazing Luna to the pack and my daughters will love you.”
Tears were forming in my eyes with because of his sweet words.
“Do not cry my love.” Lucan looked at me with concern in his eyes
“I am not upset Lucan my love you have made me so happy…” I smiled
Lucan nodded and gave me a kiss on my forehead.
“Would you like so Epsom salts in the bath?” Lucan asked
I nodded and smiled.
“Yes, my love that will feel wonderful on my aching muscles.”
Lucan turned to pour so Epsom salts into the water. Once Lucan had added the Epsom salts and he turned around and offered me his hand. I grasped his hand and he puled me to him I smiled and looked up in to his eyes I could see how happy he looked.
“I will spend the rest of our lives making sure you know how much I love you and making love to you every chance I get.” He spoke
“You make me so happy Lucan my handsome amazing mate.”
“For right now I will just bathe with you and make sure you are happy and relaxed.” Lucan spoke
I nodded and smiled. “How did I get such an amazing mate?” I asked
“I could say the same thing to you as well my love.” He advised
He smiled but did not answer just walked us over to the tub I noticed there were steps to help enter the tub.
I walked into the tub and sat down.
“Lean forward my love.” Lucan spoke
Lucan climbed in behind me in the tub he wrapped me in his arms, and I felt safe and protected in his arms. I knew I could take care of myself, but I was also happy to know I now had someone to protect me as well. When Lucan pulled me back into him so my back was against his chest, and I could feel his heart beat.
“The tub is so massive there is still room in here even with us both in here.”
“Yes, it was made that way so more than one could bathe together in this tub.” Lucan chuckled
I felt his laughter and smiled.
“I hope he never did this with her.” Alice growled in my head
“You know he had other mates before us you cannot be angry at him Alice.”
“I am not angry with him just curious if this is something that only we share.” Alice advised
I sighed.
“What is wrong my love?” Lucan asked
“Lucan…” I paused, “Alice would like to know if you have ever bathed with anyone else in this tub?”
I heard him sigh.
“Only once before you…” he paused, “My first mate.”
Lucan held me tighter to his chest and I gently rubbed his arms trying to soothe him.
“It was the last happy memory with Eve before…” Lucan could not finish his statement
I turned around in his arms and straddled his legs, so my eyes were looking into his. I saw that he had unshed tears in his eyes and just wanted to desperately make him feel better.
I put my hands on his face and kissed him gently on the lips and pulled away to look at him again.
“Lucan my love I want you to know that you can tell me anything and when you are ready it would be lovely to hear all about Yvonne.” I smiled
Lucan hugged me to his chest and kissed my lips gently.
“How did I get so lucky to have a mate that is also so generous that she wants to hear everything about my former mate.” Luca smiled
I washed Lucan and massaged his muscles to make him relax then Lucan did the same for me and he was true to his word he did not have sex. All he did was clean my body and massage my muscles to help me relax. After we were all clean, we leaned against each other and relaxed in the hot water.
“So, I know you over heard the conversation at the door to our bedroom earlier with you father and I want to know how you feel about going with us?” Lucan asked
“Well, I will not lie I would love to, but I am also nervous.” I advised
“What are you nervous about?” Lucan asked
“I am nervous about how Zarina will react to us being mates.” I advised
“Well Kassie my love she will love you there is nothing to fear.”
I nodded.
“Okay but before we go, we need to do something else first tell my father and mother about us.”
“I agree that would be a great idea.” He paused, “Let’s go get dressed and go do that now.” Lucan advised
“Yes, my love.”
I stood up in front of Lucan and I saw his staring at me. Lucan stood up and kissed me hard on my lips and left the tub with me following behind him.

We had been on the road for about an hour when I must have dozed off to sleep because before I knew it Rose was waking me to let me know that we are here. I opened my eyes and blinked rubbing them to wake myself up. Looking around I noticed we are in a parking garage.
“Where are we Rose?”
“We are at the mall Rina.” Rose advised
I smiled with excitement and exited the vehicle.
“I take that smile to say that you like shopping?” Bella asked
“It has been a long time since we have been to the mall to go shopping.” I paused, “But yes I love shopping” I smiled
“Where are we going first Bella?”
“We are going to get something to eat first as I am carrying two babies and they need to be fed.” Bella advised
My stomach growled at the mention of food.
“That sounds like a great idea Bell I think Rina agrees too.” Rose smiled
We all laughed and headed into the mall toward the food court.

“I am glad we were able to get Lucan to agree to come and to accept us as his future son in-laws Alex.” Dixon advised
“Agreed but now we need to make sure everything is ready at the location for us to propose to our beautiful mates.”
My cellphone rang, and I answered I checked the caller ID.
“Is it the piolet?” Dixon asked
“Yes, it is.”
I answered the phone and placed it on speaker phone so Dixon could hear the call.
“Are you on your way here yet Harper?”
“I will be leaving the air field in about an hour to pick you both up.”
“Excellent thank you old friend.” Dixon spoke
“Not a problem just happy that you have both finally found your mates.”
“See you both in about one and a half hours be ready.”
I disconnected the call and turned to look at Dixon.
“Let’s go get ready for our girls Alex.”
I nodded.
“Are you ready for this Dixon?”
“I was born ready for my Rosa.” He paused, “What about you Alex?” he asked
“Yes, agreed we were both born to make our mates happy!”
We both left and went to our homes to get ready for the day.
