Chapter 36
Chapter 36
I saw a big bald man, and there were several men as strong as him standing beside him. Each of them was very fierce and looked like street thugs.
I suddenly remembered something. It was these men who blocked Jack and I in the bar and beat us up at the Starlight Bar that day.
I immediately pointed at them and shouted.
"Are you the gangsters who beat me and Jack last time?!"
The bald man I hit was stunned for a moment, and then said to me fiercely.
"Damn, you kid, you recognized the wrong person, I think you want to be beaten!"
I was in a very bad mood and shouted at the bald man.
"What, do you still want to beat people now? Do you believe I will call the police immediately?"
"Dare to call the police, believe it or not, we will beat you to death!"
As soon as I took out my mobile phone, several gangsters rushed towards me. I was very desperate. Even though I had practiced in the boxing gym for a month, I knew that I could never beat these tall and strong gangsters.
Just as I was holding my head and waiting to be beaten, a loud roar suddenly came from behind me, followed by the cries of several gangsters.
I took my hands away and saw that several gangsters had been knocked down. James was standing in front of the gangsters like a hero and looking at me.
Seeing that I was still standing there in a daze, James patted my shoulder.
"Why are you still standing there? The problem has been solved, why don't you leave quickly?"
I just reacted and followed James to leave quickly. Along the way, I lowered my head, feeling guilty. I didn't dare to face James. After all, I just contradicted him in the boxing gym, and I knew it was my fault.
James didn't mean to bother with me. He took me to sit down in a fast food restaurant. I was still embarrassed and didn't know what to say. James spoke first.
"After you left the boxing gym, I thought about it. Maybe I was too strict with you. After all, you are just an amateur student, not a professional athlete. I used my past habits in the boxing team on you, so I came to you to say sorry."
I didn't expect James' attitude to change so quickly, which made me even more embarrassed. I smiled carefully.
"Oh, it's okay. The main mistake is mine. I was late and didn't admit my mistake. Sorry, I promise not to be late next time."
We both breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at each other. James patted my shoulder generously.
"Then let's go. Your class is not over yet. Go back and continue your class."
On the way back to the boxing gym, I chatted with James casually. I knew that he had been practicing boxing since he was a child and had been practicing for more than 20 years. He also asked me what hatred I had with those gangsters, and I briefly explained it.
I thanked James for helping me again. James encouraged me to practice well and I would be able to defeat those gangsters in the future.
I smiled bitterly in my heart. James had practiced for more than 20 years to have such strength. I thought that I might never catch up with his level in my life.
I comforted myself in my heart that at least I could make my body stronger, even if I could help Jack receive a few more punches.
We completely forgave each other and returned to the boxing gym. I finished two more classes seriously.
During the break, Lucas, the front desk, told me some stories about James.
It turned out that he was selected as a state boxer at the age of ten, and his performance was always good. He won the state boxing championship and could have participated in the national competition and even had the opportunity to participate in the WBC World Heavyweight Championship.
But later, he and his friends from the sports team were having dinner outside, and they were provoked by a group of hooligans. He and his friends faced dozens of hooligans together.
In the end, the two of them won, but they beat a hooligan to death, and both were expelled from the sports team.
Soon, he and his friend also died of an accidental disease. This incident was a big blow to James. It took him several years to get over it and finally opened this boxing gym.
So James actually hates hooligans very much. He hopes that every student who signs up for the course can practice superb boxing skills to protect themselves and the people they love.
After listening to Lucas's story, I have more respect for James and was very moved.
When I got home at night, Jack had already returned from his part-time job at the bar. He was taking off his clothes and going to take a shower in the bathroom. When he saw me coming back, he did not avoid me at all. Instead, he came over naked and smiled.
"What have you been busy with these days? Why do you stay up so late every night? Are you hooking up with another man outside?"
"Oh, I've been running at night these days. You came back a little early today."
Jack's eyes dimmed and he sighed at me.
"Vivian, that bitch is really thief."
"Vivian? Did she harass you again?"
I was surprised. Because of Vivian's matter, Jack was forced to change his part-time job at a bar. I didn't expect her to come back again. Jack nodded.
"Well, it's the same as always. She gave me a generous tip, asked me to sing the song she ordered, and asked me to drink with her."
"You refused, didn't she make things difficult for you?"
Jack saw my concerned look and smiled at me.
"Fortunately, the owner of this bar is very tough and warned Vivian not to make trouble. The owner also said that customers like Vivian will not be welcome in the future."
"Oh, then the owner of this bar is not bad. If Vivian brings people to harass you again, remember to call me and I will protect you."
Jack nodded happily and rushed to the bathroom to take a shower. Looking at his white and smooth body and his perky butt, I swallowed hard. Damn, I am really a pervert.
