Chapter 104 Live Together

Calliope couldn't help but laugh at her accusation.

Back when Elijah was backing her, they tried to stop him, even causing a scene at the school for everyone to see.

Now they wanted her help and even wanted to drag Matthew into it.

Seeing Calliope's indifference, Bianca stood up and was about to kneel. "Calliope, I'm begging you."

Calliope quickly helped Bianca up before she could fully kneel. "Mrs. Brown, I get how you feel, but finding a matching bone marrow donor takes time. You should wait for news from the bone marrow registry."

With that, Calliope turned and left the hospital without a second thought.

The two were left staring in shock at Calliope's retreating figure.

Bianca couldn't believe Calliope was being so heartless this time. In the past, no matter what she asked for, Calliope would do whatever she could. Now she wasn't even willing to help with this.

"Elijah, this is the ungrateful person you raised. She wants to watch our daughter die!" Bianca pounded on the ICU door desperately and shouted. But Elijah couldn't hear anything.

The loud noise brought the doctors over.

Seeing the situation, Sophia quickly pulled Bianca back.

She was just as confused. Elijah was still lying inside, his fate unknown, and a huge doubt hung over her mind.

"Mom," Sophia cautiously began. "Is Calliope really Dad's daughter?"

"She's just the daughter of a shameless woman who seduced your father. That woman deserved to die early." A cold glint flashed in Bianca's eyes. "Sophia, don't worry. I'll find a way to get you the surgery."

Outside the hospital, Calliope saw David's car waiting for her from a distance.

Calliope's steps were stiff as she slowly moved to the car.

"Ms. Bishop, please tell me your address. Mr. Moore has instructed that you must move today." David's serious tone was just as annoying as Matthew's. No wonder he was Matthew's assistant.

Calliope grumbled inwardly but had no choice but to tell him the address.

Sitting on the couch in her rented apartment, Calliope felt very annoyed.

She really didn't want to move to Ivywood Grove Estate, but she had no choice.

Looking at David standing at the door, Calliope was furious. She had no idea how long she would have to stay there this time.

Calliope randomly packed a few clothes and some important documents.

After loading the luggage into the car, Calliope sat in the back seat and sent a message to Amelia.

As soon as Calliope sent a message, Amelia bombarded her with texts one after another.

[What? You mean you two are going to live together? Seriously?]

Even through the screen, Calliope could feel Amelia's shock.

[Sort of.] Calliope replied briefly, expressing her helplessness.

After chatting for a bit, Amelia got busy with work again and had to go.

[I'll interrogate you properly tonight.]

After sending this message, Amelia went silent.

David dropped her off at Ivywood Grove Estate, helped her move her things in, and then left.

Looking at the fancy villa, Calliope felt even more annoyed.

Since Matthew wasn't home, she decided to take a walk.

The scenery in this upscale neighborhood was indeed gorgeous, and the flowers in the greenbelt were blooming beautifully.

As Calliope walked, she overheard a woman murmuring, "The scenery here is really nice, and the location of that villa is great. I can see the distant mountains at a glance. And I really like the huge bathtub in the bathroom..."

Calliope was so focused on the flowers that she didn't notice someone walking towards her.

When they met, Calliope instinctively stepped aside, and the woman's voice stopped.

At the same time, she heard, "Calliope."

The familiar voice and the rising tone made Calliope's body tremble. She looked up and saw the intimate couple in front of her.

Daniel, dressed in a gray trench coat, stood tall and straight, his deep features made even more prominent by his attire. Beside him, Zara wore a white long dress, her long hair casually draped behind her.

The two were intimately linked, smiling just a moment before they saw her.

What a perfect match.

Upon seeing Calliope, Zara was initially shocked and then became wary. She tightened her grip on Daniel's arm and leaned closer, as if silently claiming him as her own.

Daniel was also surprised. "Calliope, what are you doing here?"

Daniel knew Calliope couldn't even get into such a high-end place.

Before Calliope could speak, Zara seized the opportunity.

Her eyes darkened, and she smiled mockingly. "The houses here are unaffordable for most people and are not available for rent. But I remember my uncle Matthew lives here. Ms. Bishop, you must be living with Matthew. You two must be very close."

As soon as Zara finished speaking, Daniel's face darkened further.

He didn't know where Matthew lived, but Zara's words must be true.

The houses here were extremely expensive; Calliope couldn't afford one.

The only possibility for her being here was that she was living with Matthew.

They were living together! The thought of this possibility made Daniel's heart ache.

"Daniel and I are here to choose a house for after we get married. The scenery here is indeed nice. If we decide to live here, we'll be neighbors."

Calliope glanced at Daniel, smiled silently, and congratulated them. She wanted to leave, but Zara wouldn't give her the chance.

"It's rare to meet here. Ms. Bishop, why don't you invite us to your home? Once we're familiar, we can visit each other more often."

Calliope glanced at her emotionlessly. Zara's intentions were obvious.

"Matthew isn't home right now. If you want to visit, contact him in advance. I'm leaving."

After saying that, Calliope lost interest in admiring the flowers and turned to leave.

Zara watched her back with a mocking look.

Calliope's words confirmed that she was living with Matthew.

Although he had guessed why Calliope was here, hearing her admit it still made Daniel feel uncomfortable.

Even as Calliope walked away, Daniel's eyes followed her.

Zara's gaze towards Calliope grew more venomous. She wished that she could make Calliope disappear completely.
