The Honor
At the Industrial Complex, Paris
After Jewel got off call with her grandparents, she gave the General Manager a call. Right from the time she gained admission into the Hillside University, Mr. Chevrolet naturally took the responsibility of parenting her, and he was glad to do that. When her call got through to him, he chuckled and said, “Visiting Toronto.” Then, he picked and greeted, “Hello, Jewel. How may I assist you?” “Good day, Mr. Chevrolet. How is your work going?” “My work is going well. How are your studies?” “Fine, Mr. Chevrolet. I wish to let you know that I would like to visit Toronto and welcome my brother.” Just as he anticipated, she did not disappoint him. The General Manager was elated with her information. It was an opportunity to welcome the Young CEO and be part of the reception. “I see. When will he arrive in Toronto?” “Hopefully, by 2 AM.” “It's all right. I will get the pilots ready and get back to you.” “Thank you, Mr. Chevrolet.”
Afterward, he informed the pilots that he would leave for the Headquarters at 6 PM, and the pilot worked towards that time. Nevertheless, he called Jewel back and informed her of their departure, and she accepted. Although, that time was not convenient for her. She wished to get home earlier and see her grandparents, and probably visit the airport with them and pick Jeff. Whatever the case was, she accepted. Afterward, she called her grandparents back and informed them. “That is nice. You will wait for us at the airport. We will be at the airport to receive Jeffrey. Then, we will come back together” Mr. Morris accepted. “All right, grandpa. See you then.”
In the Aircraft.
As the flight captain, Jeff put every worries aside and flew the airplane. Although, Jennifer was not mindful of him, her worries increased when she could not see him and Leon was far from her. She got up and went to the convenience and returned. At that point, she searched every seat, but could not see them. Rather, she saw her happy colleagues that they would unite with their parents. “Hi, Jennifer.” One of her colleagues, who was not asleep like others, cheered her up. He believed that she was as happy as he was. “Hi” she responded coldly, and he mistook it for her health. Afterward, she took her seat and fastened her seatbelt. Suddenly, the pilot made the altitude announcement and she was thrilled with the voice. “The voice is familiar.” She thought. Later, she kept herself busy with the company bulletin, which was beside her. After a while, she slept off. She woke up when the co-pilot made the landing announcement. Nevertheless, she was determined to fish out the pilot with the familiar voice. After they landed, Ralf looked at Val for directives, and he advised, “The Chairman said I should wait for further instructions. So, we will wait.” “I got it, boss.”
At the Airport
Despite the unfriendly hour of their arrival, the airport was filled with spectators, who were all agog to catch a glimpse of the Young CEO and the rescued youths. To the rescued' displeasure, they never saw the Young Master, but Val and Ralf took over the coordination of the group. Now, out of curiosity, Jennifer threw her pride aside and determined to check out the first pilot with a familiar voice, who made the first altitude announcement and also to see Leon, who was at the front.
Meanwhile, Jewel's flight was thirty minutes earlier than theirs. Mr. Chevrolet, who was communicating with the Chairman also waited for instructions. Nevertheless, the clingy Jewel requested to visit Jeff's aircraft while they waited for instructions.
“Ensure that you are with your mask” the General Manager advised. “I got it, Mr. Chevrolet.” Subsequently, she put on her nose mask and sneaked to her brother's aircraft, and Val allowed her to meet him at the cockpit. After a few minutes, Jennifer, who was at the back seat, strolled to the cockpit door.
“Is cockpit visit allowed, please?” She asked Val. “Certainly.” Now. Val believed that she was Jeff's relation and allowed her to visit the cockpit, to catch fun with the family members, especially with Jewel around. “Thank you,” she appreciated and walked in. Then, she met Jeff and Jewel in a position that only someone like her could misinterpret. After, Jewel got in, Jeff and Leon were surprised to see her, and they gave her a hug one after the other. “I miss you, big brother.” “I miss you too.” At that point, Jennifer appeared. She stood still and watched the hugging and chatting. Then, Leon, who was smiling happily and watching them, noticed her presence and inquired, cheerfully, “Jennifer, what brings you?” Now, Jeff and Jewel stopped and looked at her happily. Likewise, Jeff was happy to see her. 'She had come to show appreciation.' He thought. To his vexation, she spoke happily with Leon. “Nothing. Just strolling.” “I see.” Then, she looked at Jeff and Jewel, and gave a cursory greeting. “Hi” and walked back without looking them. “Hi” Jewel responded cheerfully. Now, it was clear to her that the first pilot was the arrogant Jeff, but she could not think of what she wanted to do with her discovery. 'Was she with us? When did she join us? I didn't see her when we boarded?' Many thoughts troubled her as she walked back to her seat. Meanwhile, her appearance had ruined Jeff's day. He carried on with his chat with Leon and Jewel just to cover up.
Nevertheless, the Award Committee was set and Val got a message from Mr. Morris. “The rescued can get down.” “I got it, boss.” Now, he looked at the rescued and instructed. “You can get off.” The excited youths got off one after the other and were shocked to see numerous people in the airstrip. They expected to see only their parents waiting, but the turn-out shocked them. However, they concealed their nervousness and walked down the air stairs. They were greeted with a lot of fun fair. Now, everyone looked out for the Young CEO, who did the noble job, and concluded that he must be one of the youths. Val guided them to the makeshift stage, where the Prime Minister stood and stepped aside.
