Chapter 71 has powers
“Untie that towel”, My mouth fall open when I heard her say that. “Yes I wanna take the exact size”, She chuckled and I didn’t protest. I just let the towel down and remained in my panties together with my bra. With no words said more, l felt the measuring tape hover around me and l lifted up my arms above my head. I didn’t feel uncomfortable around her for some unknown reason.
The tape took the length of my legs and arms then she silent scribbled them in her notebook. She later walked back to me and took the size of my torso, breasts, waist. “Who knew it that you would finally accept to be marked”, She murmured in a chuckle as she took the size of my chest.
“I knew it that you were going to talk about it”, l laughed. “Yeah that isn’t the only thing l did notice”, She laughed. “What else did you notice?”, I asked as l watched her write down the size in her notebook. “The size of the stomach?”,. “How long have you taken without having your menstruation?”, As soon as I heard her say that, the air in the room I’mmediately became cold despite the sun that was streaming through the window. My mouth was dry and I couldn’t help but think about it all. It was now three months ever since I was sold to Idris but then shockingly throughout these months, l don’t remember having my periods.
My body froze more as I thought about it all , the number of times l have wildly had sex with Idris. The most important thing was that Idris told me that his sperms were potent. “It’s not true”, l finally mumbled more to myself while shaking my head. “Yeah maybe it isn’t and secondly you told me that you have endometriosis”, Within seconds she had her arm thrown over me
“Yeah”, l nodded my head lost at words to say. I was a hundred percent sure that I was pregnant and endometriosis the disease she was talking about was all a lie. I lied to her that I had it. She was right though about the size of my stomach. It was slowly becoming big and there are some foods, l didn’t want.
“Anyway let’s ignore that, let’s go have lunch in the dining hall, if it’s not cold, l suggest we go outside. But it’s going to snow again”, She murmured without hesitating. “Yeah let’s go, l wanna see the little snow flurries”, l shrugged the thoughts of pregnancy in the back of my head then turned to her.
“Dress up quickly and we go, l wanna help you tour around the whole pack”, She said with a smile on her face. “Yeah I can’t wait”, l smiled too before I walked to the wardrobe. I quickly wore a tight knee length red dress, a large black fur collar woolen coat for winter together with black high boots.
“Let’s go”, She chirped excitedly as soon as she caught sight of me. With that done, we walked out of the room. For a moment we were all silent but I didn’t know where she was walking me to. This wasn’t the area where slaves were kept. In this place everyone was happy and some kids were running in simple clothes despite the fact that it was snowing.
“Look at those pups”, Raelynn pointed at the little wolves that were playing in the snow. “Huh! They are cute”, l smiled. Honestly I couldn’t believe everything l was seeing. This pack was really big with different things. People were moving around, different shops were open and they were seriously working as normal people. After seeing this , it all came in my mind. Slaves lived in a different area and they are the ones who served the royals.
“What’s that amazing smell?”, Just as l was thinking about slaves, l instantly caught a whiff of something that made my mouth to water. “It’s a vendor frying round balls of dough, do you want one?”, Raelynn asked with her eyebrow raised. “Yes”, l quickly walked to the vendor but stood at distance and watched him pull fried dough from the hot oil and dusted it with white sugar.
“Two please”, Raelynn approached the vendor and pulled a few coins from her purse then gave it to him. “Of course madam”, The vendor wrapped up two steaming buns and handed them over. However just as he was handing them over, his eyes Immediately widened to the size of saucers.
“Wait a moment, Miss Raelynn. Is she the Luna who healed our Alpha?”, He asked in disbelief. It was as if I was special. “Yes she is”, Raelynn grinned and I blushed red. “What! My goodness”, He stumbled over his words as he reached under his stall and pulled out a stoppered round bottle.
“This is for you Luna”, He bowed his head before handing me the bottle. My face turned more red and turned to Raelynn. She nodded her head as if telling me to get the bottle from the vendor. “Thank you so much”, l said with tears already forming in my eyes. This was really sweet. I really didn’t think that wolves would love a human.
“You know, l also like you so much”, Just as we walked away, Raelynn spoke. I didn’t respond to her sooner. I was just inhaling the scent of the fried dough while admiring the dusting of snow like sugar on top. I was in love at the first bite and the airy dough nearly melted on my tongue and the sweetness awakened my taste buds.
“This is the second time, the moon goddess has blessed us with a Luna who has healing powers”, Raelynn spoke again. “Wait! What?”, I gushed surprised but with a mouthful of the fried dough. “Having a Luna with healing powers happened many years ago and it was my grand mother”, She murmured but I was too far gone with the world of flavors in my mouth to pay her any mind.
“Ohh! I get you”, l nodded as I popped off the cork on the bottle the vendor had given me. “I have feeling that the moon goddess has blessed you with more powers besides healing”, She murmured but I didn’t give attention to her words. Everything in their world seemed like a dream to me.
