Chapter 117 Bachelor and Bachelorette Party!

Chapter 117 Bachelor and Bachelorette Party!
Chapter 117: Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties!

Two days before the church wedding, Sebastián, Ricardo, Eduardo, and Alfred took Dubois to a club. They picked him up from the office at 5 PM, supposedly for a celebration. They had completely forgotten about the bachelor party!

"I can't go celebrate; Valeria is expecting me to help with the baby."

"Incorrect, at this moment the women are arriving at your house to throw Valeria her bachelorette party," Alfred told him.

"Bachelorette party? We're already married civilly!"

"This church wedding is the one that matters to us," said Sebastián.

"Besides, we overlooked this and that's unforgivable because we're the best men. We need to correct this big mistake," Ricardo said to me.

"It's the best men's responsibility to throw the bachelor party, and Margaret only remembered today, so let's go. We have orders not to return until 11 PM," Sebastián added.

"What are we going to do until 11 PM? You guys are crazy, I can't be away that long."

"You'll come with us. These are Margaret's orders: don't come back until 11 PM or spend the night at the hotel."

"I'm not leaving my wife alone with my son," I told them.

"She's not alone; she's with the women. Let's go, Michael," said the usually quiet Eduardo, so Dubois obeyed.

After a tour around the city where Dubois told them, "Don't even think about a strip club so close to my wedding."

"Don't worry, we're going to my club to drink and chat. Enjoy this free night your wife gave you and stop complaining so much," Ricardo said.

"Does Valeria know about this escape?"

"She knows now; the girls must have told her by now," Alfred pointed out.

"Frankly, you guys are crazy, taking me out like this."

"Enjoy it. You're tied to a woman for life, so consider this an escape and enjoy it. We're here, let's see if we still got it."

The car stopped, and out came three still-young men and two older ones, all very attractive.

The club looked good. "We can't drink, who will drive?" Michael asked.

"Michael, you're such a bore, kid. The security staff is following us; they'll take care of us because tonight we're drinking. We haven't gone out as a group in ages, so do it for us. In two days, you'll be tied down, so indulge us and have fun," Ricardo said, and Michael knew he was right.

"Alright, let's have fun," I told them, "but remember, I can't hold my liquor."

"We don't care, and that's the spirit, Dubois," said Sebastián.

So they entered the club, which turned out to be a place where you could dance and eat. It had a bar with all kinds of drinks and private rooms, and that's where we went.

"I thought you were going to bring in girls or dances."

"Did you want that, little brother?" Ricardo asked.

"Of course not, Valeria is very jealous."

"Then let's drink and sing. There's a karaoke here. We'll tell you what you'll miss out on by getting married."

"It's our duty, Michael."

So we ate, drank wine, and sang love songs with the karaoke. Even Eduardo showed off.

Gradually, the wine took effect, and the jokes, confessions, and congratulations started.

By 11 PM, they were completely drunk, so the security staff called Margaret, and she told them to take them to the hotel to their suite.

"All of them?" one of the bodyguards asked.

"Yes, put the older ones on the beds and the younger ones on the couches."

"Alright, ma'am."

"Thank you!"

...

Something similar happened at the Dubois house with Valeria. At 5 PM, Margaret, Hana, and Ebony invaded the house, bringing pajamas, lots of food, and wine.

Valeria was surprised when she saw them, and Margaret explained, "I overlooked something important, Valeria."

"What, Margaret?"

"Your bachelorette party and Dubois's bachelor party."

"That doesn't matter, Margaret."

"Yes, it does. In a few years, you'll regret not having your bachelorette party. We can't allow that. And don't wait for Michael; the guys are at the office now and will take him out to celebrate."

"Where will they take him?"

"Don't worry, just to drink and then to the hotel to sleep. Our men are very wholesome."

"We're having a sleepover, and we'll tell you what to expect from marriage. We brought popcorn and ice cream. Since you can't drink alcohol, we brought you ice cream, but we'll drink wine."

"Margaret! What ideas you come up with!"

"I swear you need a girls' night. Call your mom and Cristina; we'll all be here."

"Margaret, you guys are crazy."

"Let's have our sleepover."

Sofía joined the sleepover. They danced, sang karaoke, watched a movie, and Ebony, Margaret, and Hana drank wine, which unleashed their inhibitions. They started talking about intimate relationships, positions, and other things that made Cristina blush and prompted Rosalía to send Sofía to bed and Cristina to fetch the baby for feeding. After he ate, Cristina took him back.

Rosalía stayed to prepare snacks and get drinks.

It was very fun and quite relaxing. Valeria felt a bit of her stress melt away. She hadn't slept well in months and was nervous about taking care of the baby. Laughing heartily at these drunk women's antics was a welcome distraction and relaxation.

At one point, they fell asleep on the carpet, and Rosalía fetched blankets and covered them. Valeria, feeling a bit embarrassed but very relaxed, went upstairs to check on the baby and dozed off, honestly missing Dubois.

It had become a habit to sleep together and rest her head on his shoulder. She didn't want to call him because this was his night off, and he needed it too.

...
The next day in the hotel room, everyone woke up feeling quite terrible, especially Dubois, who had a bad hangover. Even the drink hit him worse than the older men, and he had a splitting headache, with everyone lining up to vomit.

Finally, they ordered a light breakfast from the restaurant.

"I can't go home to my wife like this," Michael said.

"Relax, Michael, the girls must be feeling the same; they brought wine too," Alfred responded.

"Admit it, you needed this. Taking care of a baby drains a lot of energy; you have to relax."

"You're right, I've felt exhausted, but my wife is even more tired than I am."

"You needed to unwind before the wedding, and completing all the steps included a bachelor party."

The same was happening at Dubois' house. The girls had terrible headaches and woke up one by one.

"I feel like I was hit by a train," Ebony said.

"I'm never getting drunk on wine again," Hana said.

"It's horrible," Margaret added.

"Go wash up, I have coffee and a light breakfast for you," Rosalía told them.

"We're coming."

So they got up, went to the bedrooms they usually occupied, changed into clothes they had brought, and washed their faces.

When they arrived in the kitchen, they took a headache pill and saw Valeria coming down, who smiled and said,

"Thank you, I needed a girls' night and some intimate advice."

"Intimate?" Margaret asked.

"What do you mean intimate?"

"About the things you do with your husbands, how you get ready and all that."

"Seriously? I talked about those things? Oh my gosh! How embarrassing!" Ebony exclaimed.

"It was quite enlightening. I don't have to imagine anything; you told me all the details. Now that I've learned something new, I'll practice."

"Stop teasing, Valeria," Hana said.

"Seriously, I enjoyed that conversation, especially you, Hana, with all the things you do behind closed doors. Who would have thought!"

"And you, Margaret, you're quite graphic. I understood everything."

"Well..." Margaret said, "now you know why Alfred follows me everywhere, and let me tell you, Ebony learned on her own." Margaret's response surprised everyone, and they all burst into laughter.

That's how the men found them when they arrived, also with headaches. Dubois approached Valeria and hugged her.

"Love, yesterday afternoon these guys kidnapped me, and I woke up in the hotel on a couch. I don't even know how I got there."

"I know, Dubois. Margaret told the security staff to take you there. It seems we were at our bachelor and bachelorette parties."

"My head hurts so much, mom, help me," complained Sebastián.

"I'm in the same boat, son. How am I supposed to help you?" Hana replied.

"Everyone sit down, I made a broth to help you and a light breakfast. I'll also give you a headache pill," Rosalía said, taking charge.

Valeria started laughing uncontrollably.

"What's so funny, love?" Dubois asked.

"I don't know, but it's very funny," she replied, and everyone looked at each other and started laughing.

A while later, Valeria sat on Dubois' lap.

"Did you have fun, love?"

"I really did. I relaxed a lot. I needed a few hours with friends."

"Me too. Let's do this more often."

"But no more drinking. My head hurts so much, I don't even know what I said."

"And the girls don't remember what they told me either. Super interesting stuff."

"Shut up, Valeria!" said Margaret, Ebony, and Hana simultaneously.

"Don't you dare!" Hana added.

This caught the men's attention.

"What happened?" they asked.

"Nothing, nothing at all. Don't ask. Oh, my head!"

"Stop talking and eat a bit," Rosalía said.

Valeria smiled. She enjoyed relaxing and joking like this. Sitting on Dubois' lap, she began feeding him the soup Rosalía had prepared.

"Take it slow, my love, little by little. Then you'll take a relaxing bath."

"We'll stay here today. I can't take a step to go to the hotel."

"Your room is always ready, Margaret. Eat and then rest. Are you staying, Hana and Eduardo?"

"Yes, I can't even walk from the pain. I'll wait for it to calm down, take the pill, and go to sleep. Let's go, dear."

"I'm staying too," Sebastián said.

"Me too," Ricardo added.

"Eat first and then take the pill. Don't get drunk on wine again," Valeria said, smiling.

In the afternoon, after a bath, everyone came out of their rooms more rested. Dubois swore to Valeria that he wouldn't drink again.

After the meal, everyone sat in the living room, the younger ones on the floor and the older ones on the couch. The conversation turned to the most dreadful drunken stories of their lives.

Margaret had the most exciting stories; it seemed she had a lot of fun. Alfred had no choice but to confirm it and said he avoided drinking too much because he had to take care of her.

"Let me tell you, I even sing after two glasses of wine. Two are enough to get me tipsy. I'm not good at drinking."

"Show us, Margaret, come on," Valeria said.

"Well, find me a karaoke, and you'll see."

Dubois worked his magic and selected the music Margaret indicated. Margaret began to sing, and she truly sang beautifully, especially Mexican music. Then she sang a bachata and a rap.

"That was so much fun!" Valeria said.

"Anyone else dare?" Margaret asked. "Come on, don't be cowards."

"Well, I'll go next," Sebastián said, getting up and performing an Il Divo song. He didn't do too badly.

"That was great!" Dubois said, hugging Valeria.

"Do you want to know something?" Valeria said.

"This is the real bachelor party I wanted."

"Well, it's true, it turned out better," Hana replied.

"Yes, let's do it again," Margaret said. "Together, we're fantastic."
