Chapter thirty-nine-Truth and dare and two men in love?

Emily Brown's Pov:

"Hey, if your favorite flower grew only in one very remote spot, and it was super difficult to get them. But then, one morning, you woke up and saw a bouquet of them by your bedside, how would you feel?" Oscar asked playing with my hands. We were both laying down and I was laying over his chest.

"I would feel very delighted. That's a sweet thing to do." I told him smiling on his chest.

"You are the sweetest thing to do, baby." He said leaving my hands and hugging my waist. I chuckled at his words. What a flirt.

"You must be horny," I pinched him to get up.

"No, Stay. Don't get up." He whined. Pecking his lips, I crawled to Mathew, Adira, and Valentino. They were talking about something. I joined in.

"What are you guys up to?"

"We are up to planning someone's murder," Mathew said smiling evilly.

"What?" I asked confused.

"We are up to nothing. We were just talking ." Valentino said slapping Mathew's head. "Hey!" Mathew yelled. Valentino just shrugged his shoulder. I and Adira chuckled at their playfulness.

"I miss my mom. Though she surprisingly didn't call me once." I said sitting beside Adira.

"Maybe her phone is not working," Adira said looking at me. I smiled. "If her phone didn't work for a second, she would run to the store and buy herself a new one," I said laughing.

"Maybe she is also taking a break like you?" Adira said trying to comfort me. "That might be it," I said and nodded in agreement.

"How about you guys? Did your parents call?" I asked the two guys before me.

"My dad called me like a thousand times. I had to turn off my phone because of him. I don't even answer when he calls so might as well take the hint that I don't want to talk and stop calling." Mathew said.

"I talked with my parents and told them I am on a trip with my friends outside the town. And they didn't call since that talk." Valentino said.

I noticed Adira looking down so I tried to change the subject. "Guys, let's play something." I offered. "I am playing too. Count me in." Oscar said hugging me from behind. "You are in," I said smiling. He pecked my lips and smiled. I held his face and gave him a long peck.

"If that is what you meant by playing, I am not in. Count me out." Mathew said acting to vomit. I broke the kiss.

"Count me out too. I do NOT want to kiss Oscar. " Valentino said acting to vomit too.

"Yeah, that would be gross. I do not want to kiss you both or do anything related to that." Adira said with a cringe face.

"Why would I tell you to play this, idiots? We are playing something else." I scolded them. Oscar laughed from behind.

"Thank God. What are we playing?" Valentino asked.

"We are playing truth and dare," I said happily.

Others nodded lazily. I glared at each one of them and they sat up straight.

"Let's play!" I yelled again happily. Now, they tried to nod happily making me satisfied.

The bottle pointed towards Valentino. "Okay. Truth or dare?" Oscar asked him excited. "Truth." He said making everyone groan. He didn't seem to mind.

"Have you ever tasted a booger?" Oscar asked making everyone groan in disgust.

"Eww. Why would I even do that? That is so gross." Valentino said groaning. "Okay, okay now it is Adira's turn," Mathew said.

"Truth or dare?" Oscar asked again excited.

"Truth." She stated.

"You guys are no fun," Mathew said.

"Have you ever tasted your sweat?" Oscar asked. That was gross. I moved away from him.

"Oscar, you really should stop asking such things. That is so gross. Why would I taste my sweat or anyone's sweat for the matter? I want to vomit." Adira said looking at Oscar in disgust. We all looked at Oscar in disgust.

"I never did those things. That's why I am asking. No need to be mad." Oscar said in surrender.

" Then stop asking such stupid questions." I scolded Oscar. He pouted.

"It's Emily's turn," Valentino stated.

"Dare," I stated simply.

"Finally one fun one," Mathew said excitedly.

"Say 'banana' after everything until it's your turn again," Valentino said smirking. I glared at him.

"Okay.Banana." I started groaning in frustration. Everyone chuckled.

Suddenly, the car stopped making us lean forward. We looked at the front in confusion. Lancelot parked the car in a spot. He came to the back and sat down with us.

"Why did you suddenly stop?" Adira asked him.

"It started raining. And it is raining pretty hard." Lancelot replied.

We all gathered before the small window and looked outside. Yeah, it was raining pretty hard. We sat back again to our positions. "Join us. We are playing truth and dare." Oscar offered Lancelot. Lancelot nodded. Then he started to crawl in between me and Adira. He pushed me to Oscar's side softly and sat beside Adira hugging her. I glared at him earning a chuckle from him. "But I want to sit beside my Sky! It is not fair!" I whined. "Baby, you have me. I will give you hugs and kisses." Oscar said hugging me. I pouted and gave in earning looks from Mathew and Valentino.

"Wait, let me play a song! It is perfect for the weather." Mathew said opening his phone.

The song finished. I looked at Valentino. He was playing with his fingers the whole time and Mathew was staring at him. Confess already! The worst thing that will happen is he will reject you. I instantly crawled with her away from the boys to lay down. Of course, we won't be left alone. Lancelot and Oscar laid down beside us hugging.

"Valentino, please tell me I can kick these love birds," Mathew said slapping his forehead.

"Yeah Mathew you can do that but first lay down with your crush," Lancelot yelled laughing.

Valentino looked at us in confusion but when he understood he looked at Mathew who panicked and to hide crawled to Adira's side who was at the edge of the bed. He reached her and hugged her hiding behind her from Valentino who was at another edge trying to process. These kids.
