Chapter thirty-one- Rain, peace, and love

Snow Willson's Pov:

I was sitting a few meters away from their car. An umbrella would have been nice right now. I mean very nice. I was currently totally drenched under the rain. I was still getting drenched. But I just sat there waiting for the rain to stop. Honestly, I didn't even want the rain to stop. I wasn't even ordered to come here today. Why did I even come? I know the answer but I am not admitting it ever. I am hungry.

It was raining pretty hard. I will probably get sick. Who cares though? I should enjoy the rain while I can. I closed my eyes. The face of Adira Skylar came before. Instantly, I opened my eyes. I was probably gone insane. I need to see that girl. As if she heard me, they all came out from the car and ran in this rain.

She was giggling and dancing in the rain. The guy called Mathew picked her up making her laugh. I laughed at the scene. She was cute. Too cute.

Adira Skylar's Pov:

We came out of the truck and ran in the rain. No one was here but just us. Maybe because it was raining, there were no signs of living beings. The place was too beautiful. There was a pond right before we and trees were surrounding the place like a protector. I felt so peaceful. I started dancing. Seeing Lancelot dance, I giggled. He was way too cute. Mathew came from behind, picked me up, and started singing "The Rain Song" by Led Zeppelin.

I joined him, singing from the top of my lungs.

Lancelot pulled me to him. "Can I ask you for a dance, my lady?" he asked me smiling. I blushed and gave him my hands to take. He took it and started dancing.

"I think it's time to be your only one.

I think I'm ready to be your only one."

I hugged him softly, and we swayed together to "Only one" by Paper Kites under the rain. I knew he was the only one for me. No one could make me smile like this. I want to stay with him forever.

"Guys, Stop dancing alone! Join us!" Emily yelled at us. We chuckled and moved apart. "Coming!" We yelled together and jumped on them making them fall on the muddy ground. Everyone started yelling making and Lancelot me laugh. We started a mud fight and kept throwing mud on each other. God knows what was in this mud. We were laughing so hard and running away from each other.

"Guys, catch Oscar! He has been hiding behind the trees. Catch him and thrown him in the mud!" Emily yelled. We stopped and ran towards the tree where Oscar was hiding behind. Spotting us, he tried to make a run for it. But Valentino was fast enough to catch him. He picked up Oscar and started to run towards the mud. We following behind.

"Please! No! No! Don't put me down!" Oscar cried out clinging to Valentino. Valentino tried to throw him off but he clung to him like a bear for not wanting to be thrown off to the mud. So, Valentino fell in the mud taking Oscar with him.

"I hate you, idiots!" Oscar yelled sitting up. We chuckled at his outburst.

In a few minutes, we were all covered in mud looking like ghosts. The rain was slowing down. So, we jumped on the river to clean ourselves from the mud. We all were sure that we will catch a cold by when the rain stops. Still, after washing ourselves we sat down beside the pond. It was raining softly now. I was leaning against Lancelot's shoulder and he was holding me by my waist. I looked at the others. Emily and Oscar sat there leaning against each other too. Valentino and Mathew just laid beside each other shirtless. Everyone had a smile on their faces. They looked like they were in peace. I looked away from them and looked up at my man. He was smiling too. Realizing that I was looking at him, He leaned down and gave me a long peck on the lips. He looked at me with adoration in his eyes. I moved forward and pressed my lips on him giving him a soft peck and moved away. He hugged me tight and said, " I love you so much, my moon." I smiled at his beautiful pet name. " I love you too, my creep," I said looking up at him. He grinned. " Only yours." He said pecking my forehead.

Snow Willson's Pov:

I looked away from them and closed my eyes. I feel sick. I never wanted to cry but why do I have the urge to cry so much now? I looked at them again. They were happy. I wanted that happiness. I want to be happy too. I stood up and walked away from there giving Adira a last glance.
