Chapter 244 Come for Me, Now
Chapter 244 Come for Me, Now
Kane and I slipped away from Ryan and Clara’s engagement party, stepping into the crisp, cold night air. We walked to his sleek black SUV parked outside.
The driver approached, but Kane waved him off with a curt nod. “I’m driving tonight,” he said, his voice carrying a quiet intensity.
He opened the passenger door for me, his gaze lingering as he murmured, “We’ve got private matters to settle.” My heart thudded as I slid in, the leather cool against my skin. Kane got into the driver’s seat, started the engine, and shot me a piercing look, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.
We drove away from the glittering city lights, plunging into the shadowy depths of the forest. Kane gripped the steering wheel with one hand while his other reached for mine, his fingers closing tight around me, a possessive warmth in his touch. He glanced over, his voice dropping to a rough growl. “You look irresistible tonight.”
I frowned slightly as we veered onto a narrow forest road, unease prickling at me. “Where are we going?” I asked, my voice tinged with curiosity and nerves.
Kane’s smirk deepened. “To keep a promise.”
It didn’t click at first—not until we pulled into a secluded clearing where the grass shimmered under the pale moonlight. Then it hit me like a wave. This was the place. After I’d reclaimed my wolf, Nora, I’d burned for Kane right here. Under this same moon, I’d begged him, raw with need. He’d refused then, his voice strained with restraint. “Not here, Elena, not on the ground. When I claim you, it’ll be on a soft bed. I’ll worship every inch of you until you’re screaming. Only after we’ve explored every corner inside will I bring you back here, under this moon.”
Heat flooded my body now as I saw that same primal hunger in his eyes. “I keep my promises,” he said, retrieving a thick, plush blanket from the SUV and spreading it over the grass. “This is for us.”
We stood on the blanket, the night air biting at my skin. Kane pulled me close, his breath hot against my ear as he whispered, “Remember what I said? I’d only bring you here when we’re ready.”
My heart raced, Nora stirring fiercely within me, her energy pulsing in sync with Kane’s wolf. “I remember,” I breathed, my voice trembling with anticipation. “I never forgot.”
He cupped my face with rough, steady hands, his eyes dark with intent. “We’re ready now.”
I nodded, and that was all the permission he needed. Kane’s lips crashed into mine, hard and demanding, his hands gripping my hips, pulling me flush against him. We sank to the blanket, the world narrowing to the heat of his body over mine. His kisses were relentless, each one stoking the fire inside me as Nora’s energy surged, wild and untamed. His hands roamed down my back, fingers digging into my curves as he growled against my mouth, “All night at that party, I couldn’t stop thinking about peeling this dress off you.”
A soft, desperate sound escaped me, heat pooling low in my core. “Me too, Kane. Watching them… it made me crave things we haven’t even dared to name.”
He pressed me down beneath him, his weight a delicious anchor. “Name them now. It’s just us,” he urged, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through me.
He tugged off my coat, the cold air kissing my bare shoulders before his warm hands chased it away. He shoved the hem of my dress up, his rough palms gliding over my thighs, igniting every nerve. His fingers slipped between my legs, brushing against the damp fabric of my underwear. A wicked grin curved his lips. “You’re already so wet for me.”
Then, with a swift motion, he pushed the fabric aside, his fingers delving into me, slow at first, then faster, curling in a way that made me arch off the blanket with a sharp cry. His other hand yanked my dress down, exposing my breasts to the cool night. He teased my nipples, rolling them between his fingers until I writhed beneath him, overwhelmed by the dual sensations.
“You’re mine, Elena,” he rasped, shedding his jacket and shirt in quick, fluid movements, revealing the hard planes of his chest and the taut muscles of his abdomen.
My eyes dropped lower, catching the evident strain against his pants. He unzipped them with deliberate slowness, freeing himself, his arousal thick and ready. The sight sent another jolt of desire through me.
I gripped his shoulders, pulling him down, my hips lifting to meet him in silent plea. Kane parted my thighs wider, settling between them, his gaze locked on mine. “I’ve waited too damn long for this,” he muttered, guiding himself to my entrance. He pushed in slowly at first, stretching me with a delicious burn, then thrust deeper, harder, drawing a shared groan from us both.
Our rhythm was frantic, primal. Kane drove into me with deep, powerful strokes, pinning my wrists above my head as he claimed me again and again. I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him impossibly closer, my moans echoing into the night as pleasure coiled tighter within me.
Nora amplified every sensation, our wolves merging in a profound, unspoken bond that transcended words. Kane’s lips found mine again, his kiss bruising and desperate, before he growled against my ear, “Come for me, now.”
As our bodies moved in perfect sync, he murmured, breathless, “Ever thought about marriage?”
I gasped, half-laughing through the haze of pleasure as he hit that perfect spot inside me. “Yeah… Elva needs siblings. She can’t grow up alone.”
My voice softened, emotion threading through the heat. “I want a big family—two, maybe three more kids. Marriage… it’s facing life with your true mate, through everything.”
Kane’s eyes softened, even as his movements remained relentless. “I want that too. More than any wolf bond.”
We shattered together, my body trembling as waves of release crashed over me, Nora howling in my mind with unbridled joy. Kane followed moments later, a guttural groan escaping him as he spilled inside me, his weight collapsing over me, both of us panting into the still night.
We shared a quiet, intimate smile, his fingers threading gently through my hair. “You’re everything, Elena. You and Nora,” he whispered, his voice raw with feeling.
A sudden realization struck me—his mention of marriage wasn’t idle talk. “Did you mean our future?” I asked, my heart pounding anew, Nora stirring with excitement within me.
Kane hesitated for a heartbeat, then nodded. “I hope so. But there’s still a lot we need to face.”
Even though time and distance have pulled us apart before, my feelings for Kane have only deepened. I love him more now than I ever did back then.
I’m ready to fight for it with him.
I don’t care what stands in our way—whether it’s his father, the Bear Clan, some shadowy underground force, or anything else. I want to be the one by his side, facing it all together.
This time, I’m all in, willing to do whatever it takes to keep him!
