Chapter 42
I tangled my hands in his dark hair and gave it a gentle tug Xander growled and kissed downwards until he reached the base of my neck, where a mating mark is placed. I gasped when I felt his sharp canines scrape against my skin. He placed a wet, sloppy kiss on the spot before growling again and swiftly flipping us over. Xander was now hovering over me and I stared up at him, breathing heavily. I reached up tangling my hands in his hair again and bringing his lips back down to lip. I gently scraped my nails down his back causing him to shiver. Xander pulled away for a moment before reaching for the bottom of my shirt, and tugging it up.
lifted my body up slightly, helping him get my shirt off before he tossed it over his shoulder. He ran his hands down my body ausing me to close my eyes. The next thing I felt was Xander’s lips on my stomach, kissing everywhere he could, he quickly kissed us way up to my bra. He planted kisses on the tops of my breasts and down into my cleavage. Xander had just reached to undo my
ra when suddenly my bedroom door was thrown open. We both froze in the position we were in, both of us shirtless, my hands angled in his hair, him about to undo my bra.
We both cautiously turned our heads to see my mom standing in the doorway with her arms crossed over her chest and her lips
ressed into a line. She studied us with a blank look until suddenly a large smirk made its way onto her face.
You are so lucky it was me that walked in and not your father. Xander would have been dead in seconds and you would be rounded for three years.” My mom said with a laugh. I let out a small breath thankful that it wasn’t my dad. I untangled my hands rom Xander’s hair and grabbed my blanket, wrapping it around me.
So your not mad at me?” I asked surprised. My mom shook her head and smiled.
Of course not, it’s natural honey. Your wolfs want to complete the mating process.” My mom answered. I slightly blushed when she nentioned the mating process and I heard Xander chuckled.
Shut up!” I hissed as I slapped his bare chest. This only caused him to chuckle more so I let out a huff and pouted.
I just came to tell you goodnight and that I love you.” My mom said as she stared at us amused. I smiled at her.
I love you to mom, and goodnight.” I called back. She smiled at me before smirking again.
Goodnight Xander, I’m guessing your spending the night right?” She asked him in a teasing but serious voice. Xander opened his nouth and closed it, kind of like a fish. I rolled my eyes and nodded.
Yes he is.” I answered for him. He looked at me surprised but my mom still had that smirk on her face.
Okay be safe kids and have fun, but not to much fun.” My mom teased leaving the room. I blushed again and looked over to see that Lander had the slightest bit of a pink tinge to his cheeks. I giggled and his eyes snapped to mine.
You actually want me to stay?” He asked quietly. I took a deep breath and nodded my head. I don’t know if its going to be a good hing or not but I really just want to sleep in Xander’s arms tonight. His eyes softened and he slowly moved forwards before planting gende kiss on my lips. I kissed him back but he pulled away before it could get to intense. I stared into his eyes before laying down on the bed and pulling him with me. He laid down besides me and reached out scooping me up and pulling me into his arms. I sighed and rested my head on his chest.
Xander stroked my hair softy and the feeling of it was beginning to put me to sleep.
“I’m so sorry Celeste.” I heard Xander quietly whisper. I tiredly opened my lazy eyes and looked up at him.
“For what?” I asked, stifling a yawn. Xander ran his thumb down my cheek and over my lips.
“For everything. For hurting you like I did, I don’t know what I was thinking. I was just scared, scared that I wouldn’t be good enough
for you, scared that you wouldn’t want me.” He whispered so quietly that I almost hadn’t heard him. I propped myself up on my

elbow and tried to get him to look me in the eyes but he wouldn’t so I gently grabbed his face and turned it towards mine, staring into his beamiful eyes.
“How can you think that? I was thrilled when I found out you were my mate. You are everything I have ever wanted in a mate and more There’s no way that I could ever not want you, ever.” I whispered pressing my forehead to his. He stared into my eyes and pressed his lips to mine for a kiss that only lasted a second before he pulled me back down onto his chest.
