Chapter 263

Chapter 263
Emma

"I may have taken a few lessons," he admitted with a slight smile. "Wanted to surprise you."

And surprise me he did. Noah moved with unexpected grace, his steps precise and fluid. I followed his lead, my body responding naturally to his guidance. When he dipped me low, my hair nearly brushing the floor, the guests burst into applause.

"Show-off," I teased breathlessly as he pulled me back up.

"Only for you," he whispered against my ear.

As the song transitioned to something more upbeat, Sebastian appeared at the edge of the dance floor, dramatically beckoning other guests to join us. Soon the floor was filled with dancing couples, laughter echoing off the high ceilings.

I caught sight of Violet swaying gently with Mike in her arms, his tiny hands reaching for the glittering lights above. Noah followed my gaze, his expression softening.

"Our biggest fan," he said, echoing his words from earlier.

The music flowed from one song to the next, and Noah kept me close, occasionally stealing kisses that earned us good-natured teasing from our friends. During a particularly energetic number, I glanced around at the faces of our guests – Sebastian dancing with exaggerated movements, Henry controlling the music with expert precision, Violet showing Mike the colorful lights – and felt a surge of gratitude so intense it nearly took my breath away.

"What are you thinking about?" Noah asked, noticing my expression.

"Just... how lucky we are," I replied, blinking back tears. "To have this. To have them."

Noah's arms tightened around me. "We earned it," he said firmly. "Every step, every struggle."

As the night progressed and the energy peaked, Henry finally announced the last dance. "Let's send the newlyweds off properly, folks!" he called out, starting a slow, romantic melody.

Noah pulled me close for this final dance, our bodies swaying gently together. "Ready to go home?" he murmured into my hair.

Home. The word carried new weight now, a promise of something permanent and shared. I nodded against his chest, suddenly eager for the privacy of our own space.

After warm goodbyes and knowing smiles from our guests, Noah led me to the waiting car. The drive home passed in comfortable silence, his hand resting on mine, occasionally bringing it to his lips for a gentle kiss.

When we arrived, Noah surprised me by sweeping me into his arms at the threshold. "Tradition," he explained with a smile that made my heart race.

Inside, he carried me straight to our bedroom, setting me down gently beside the bed. The moonlight filtered through the curtains, bathing the room in a silvery glow. His eyes were dark and deep in the dim light, filled with desire and tenderness. I reached up to touch his face, my fingers tracing the strong lines of his jaw before coming to rest on his lips. He kissed my fingertips, that simple contact enough to make my heart race.

"Emma," he whispered, his voice rough with emotion. "My wife."

The title sent a sweet shiver through me. I leaned forward to kiss him, gentle at first, but quickly deepening. His tongue tentatively touched mine, and when I responded, he let out a satisfied groan.

Noah's hands moved to the back of my dress, his long fingers undoing each button one by one. I could feel the brush of his fingertips against my bare spine, each touch like an electric current through my body. Meanwhile, I worked on his tie, slowly pulling it free before starting on the buttons of his shirt.

When his shirt fell open, I placed my palms against his bare chest, feeling the strong beat of his heart and the slight tremor of his muscles under my touch. Noah lowered his head, burying his face in the crook of my neck, his warm breath sending shivers across my skin. His lips traced a path down my neck, lingering at my collarbone.

"You're so beautiful," he murmured, carefully sliding my wedding dress off my shoulders. As the fabric pooled at my feet, I instinctively moved to cover myself, but Noah gently caught my wrists. "Let me see you," he requested, his voice filled with awe.

I nodded, watching as his gaze moved slowly over me, as if memorizing every detail. He shrugged out of his shirt, then his pants, until we were both down to our last layers. Noah pulled me close, our bodies pressed together, the feel of skin against skin making me gasp.

He laid me carefully on the bed, covering my body with his own. Noah's lips started at my forehead, kissing a path down to the tip of my nose, my lips, then my chin and throat. His hands were warm and strong, sliding up from my waist to eventually cover my breasts, his touch both gentle and filled with longing.

"Noah," I called his name, my voice trembling with desire.

He looked up to meet my eyes, the heat in his gaze almost enough to melt me. "Tell me what you want," he said, his fingers drawing maddening patterns across my skin.

"I want you," I admitted, threading my fingers through his hair to pull him closer to me. "All of you."

He smiled before kissing me again, deeper this time, with more passion. His hands slid to more sensitive parts of my body, each touch making me arch closer to him. My own hands weren't idle, exploring the firm planes of his back and chest, feeling the tension in each muscle.

When Noah finally joined with me, I clutched at his shoulders, breathing hard. He paused, his forehead against mine, giving me time to adjust. "I love you," he whispered, his voice tight with restraint, "more than anything."

"I love you too," I responded, my hands cupping his face, "more than I can say."

Every movement after that, every touch, was a celebration of the bond between us. Noah's motions were both gentle and firm, his hands always connected to mine as if he was afraid to lose contact. I lost myself in the sensations he created, allowing myself to be completely open, giving myself fully to this man who loved me.

When the final wave washed over us, Noah called my name with such deep affection that tears sprang to my eyes. He held me tightly as our heartbeats gradually synchronized and our breathing intertwined.

After a moment, Noah rolled gently to the side, pulling me with him so my head rested on his chest. His fingers combed lightly through my hair, his other hand drawing soothing circles on my bare back.

"Worth waiting for?" he asked, a hint of vulnerability in his voice that most would never hear.

I raised my head to meet his gaze, taking in his tousled hair and softened expression. "Every second," I assured him, pressing a kiss to his chest, right above his heart.

Noah pulled me closer, drawing the covers over us. "Sleep, Mrs. York," he murmured. "Tomorrow is just the beginning."

As I drifted toward sleep in my husband's arms, I thought about the journey that had brought us here – from a cold contract to this warm embrace, from strangers to lovers, from broken to whole. Whatever challenges tomorrow might bring, we would face them together, stronger for all we had overcome.

In Noah's arms, I was finally home.
