Chapter 34 About To Vanish
“And that was how I set things up two years ago,”
Ending impishly with a hysterical smirk, William told Arabella how he used one incident in his favor and ensured things moved in his rhythm.
“How I used your one mistake for my favor and… made Luke what he is today,”
Her eyes widened in horror, “Wh-Why? Why did you do that?”
“Isn’t it obvious?”
Letting out a wicked, suppressed chuckle, William completed his words in her ears.
“Luke being a bad boyfriend eventually led you into holding faith in me…”
One wrong action leading to their devastation of lives, to move exactly how he wanted them to be.
William became a puppeteer. And all that for what? Just to complete his incomplete craving- Having her.
Overflowing with amusement, William told Arabella about everything, horrifying her when everything started making sense.
“Then.. this… all of it..”
“Yes,”
Luke’s change in behavior, him constantly saying she was always after William. It was all engraved in his mind through William.
“Luke was never a skeptical man… he was never like this.. He trusted you more than himself, William… he considered you above all… he believed everything you said,”
Tears stole her visions, whimpering, she clutched her dress, afraid of how many boundaries this man shattered all to smoothly create a path that led him to her.
… Becoming her hero.
“And you…”
Her lips quivered, forcing the lump in her throat to not break into a sob.
“You made him like, you did this to your own younger brother. You induced these thoughts until he…”
Liberating a dark laugh, he nibbled on her earlobe, sensing how dread a brimming in her whole being, leaving a stiff mess with tears.
Shutting her eyes, she curled to evade his dangerous aura and not suck enjoyment through her fear.
He took a strand of her hair and tugged it behind her ear before snickering.
“Until he started doubting you endlessly and controlling your life to the point he stopped realizing the difference between right and wrong,”
When he heartlessly enunciated, confirming his wrong intentions, she broke into a wail.
Shaking her head in denial, rejecting this suffocating reality, she shifted to the farthest corner of the couch, shaking in appall.
Frightened of him, of everything, doubting everything at this point.
“You made your own brother like this…”
“Not only him. All of you, sweetheart, how ‘I’ wanted…”
He smirked, crawling over her to trap her down under his muscular body.
Gasping at the vicinity, hitting his chest, she pushed him back and got up to escape from the dark web he had created. Holding back her sobbing and was about to run out of the room.
“I-I will tell Luke- no, not even Luke, everyone everything… I will tell them it was all your planning from the start, asshole!”
Crying, she was about to run but the second she held the doorknob, to scream to everyone that it wasn’t a coincidence, that all of it was twisted by William.
“Like hell I will let you!”
Growling, William harshly grabbed her elbow, twisting it behind and threw her on the bed.
Ensnaring her down so she won’t escape his shadows that delicately fabricated this scenario where her destination would be him.
“You are not going anywhere,”
Hissing, he got on top of her, pinning her wrists beside her head to keep her pressed on the bed with an iron grip that made her wince in pain.
“Leave me, dammit!”
Sobbing, she made futile attempts to kick him away but his brute strength was unbeatable, releasing endless tears when he kept her locked down.
“Do you think my life is a show!? Do you think we are your puppets to dance around your fingers!?”
“Were you guys not?”
Laughing, he stopped at her face, leaving her extremely miserable.
“You did what I wanted after all,”
Disliking how he placed his knee in between, brushing against her thigh that enhanced her apprehension.
Licking his lips out of thrill, snuggling to her neck earning an unstoppable whimper, groaning in pain and anguish.
“Leave me!”
He delightfully stared at her display of weakness until she couldn't struggle anymore and ended up wailing with her leftover strength and pain from his rough grasp.
“How could you… William?”
When she ended up crying out loud, he finally released her, leaving her wrist red and pulled away, ruffling his hair, glaring down at her body that curled like a ball.
Gripping the sheets to hide her face there, the sound of her sobbing echoed in the room, resenting how she smoothly acted how he wanted her.
Smirking insensitively, he remarked rudely, “What’s with the sobbing? Stop acting as if I forcefully married you,”
“You manipulated everyone, motherfucker!”
She cried, slamming her hand down, shutting her eyes, praying it to be a night but to no avail.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,”
“Why, William? If you were that crazy, why didn’t you open this mouth before?”
“You know what? I don’t fucking care if you act or not, if you submit, whine, scream, do whatever you want.”
He rolled his eyes, resting his hands in his pocket to discard the sound of whimpering, leaning against the bedpost so if she dared to escape, he could catch her again.
“Nothing in this world can change the fact that you… “
Grabbing her ankle, he yanked her towards him,
“Are,”
Making her almost scream in apprehension as his large fingers perfectly wrapped around her throat, purloining her breaths.
“My,”
Stopping right at her horrified and watery face, enunciating her fate that worsened her state.
“Legally wedded wife,”
Before she could react, motionless with powerlessness when he glanced at the time and returned a devilish grin.
“Oh, look, it’s time for us to leave. Let’s go,”
Jeering, he forcefully grabbed her wrists, dragging her out of the bed as she struggled, refusing to go with him in fear of what he would possibly do to her.
“No, let’s go! Leave me!”
“Enough,” He growled, done with her constant resistance.
“William, no- Mhm!”
Covering her mouth, not listening to her whining further, in the middle of the night, he dragged her away from the place without any intention of returning to the people they once called their own.
