Chapter 113 Making Them Leave

Chapter 113 Making Them Leave
Blindly devoted to Luke, Peach would gladly erase any discomfort for him. She wouldn't tolerate a single hindrance at her party.
Determined to make Arabella vanish from Luke's sight so his ex wouldn't sting him on 'their' day, Peach acted.
She deliberately sloshed her drink onto Arabella, who had been completely minding her own business.
Arabella gasped and stumbled back.
Smirking darkly, Peach seized the moment and pressed her heel onto the train of Arabella’s dress.
Fabric ripped with a sharp tear, exposing Arabella's side.
“Argh- What the hell?”
Arabella was stunned, covering herself immediately while glaring at Peach who ruined her dress.
“Oh, I wasn’t looking.”
Peach’s smirk grew wider, observing the distressed lady with contempt before ending in a snicker.
“But I guess it landed on the right spot,”
“What is your problem, Peach? What do you want?” Arabella scowled.
Lowering her gaze in embarrassment, people passing by were laughing at her. Enjoying the sight where Peach was picking on the weak.
To them, it was normal. Peach was ill-named for bullying the ones she considered inferior to her after all.
They considered her ‘just another prey’.
“Why don’t you go and clean and hopefully… don’t come back?” Peach suggested, flipping her hair gracefully.
Arabella’s frown deepened, “Why?”
“Which woman wants her soon-to-be husband’s ex in her party?” Peach gave an obvious response.
“You didn’t have to throw your drink and rip my dress to make me leave. I would have told William to leave, dammit,”
Muttering, Arabella covered up the exposed part but placed the other side of the fabric over it, pressing her palm over it while glaring at the stain from the drink.
Peach enjoyed the sight for the next few seconds before becoming dead-serious. Hatred in her eyes was crystal-clear as she ordered.
“Then get lost,”
Arabella’s mouth gaped, “Peach, you-”
But, before she could give Peach an equally hurtful response, William appeared just on time, holding Arabella by her waist to cover up for her dress and whispered gently.
“Bella, don’t,”
Holding his shirt, Arabella asked innocently, “Can’t you see what she did, William?”
Pressing herself harder into his chest, William’s breaths hitched, uncertain about her actions. Moving his hand across her shoulder, he continued her ears.
“So. But, we can’t create a scene in their party,”
Peach glared at their proximity and snapped her fingers twice dominantly.
“Tell your woman to not piss me off. She doesn’t know what I can do, William. Take her and leave,”
“Peach-”
Before the couple could calm down the authoritative woman, taking his chance after initiating this scene, Luke appeared in between.
“What happened, Peach?”
Using his most affectionate tone, to show Arabella his ‘connection’, he also held Peach by her waist, faking concern.
“I don’t want her presence here, Luke. Yes, she is your sister-in-law now but she is also your ex and I dislike her presence here.” Peach declared strictly, folding her arms at her chest.
“Tell them to leave before I make them,”
“I-I will tell them. You go back and enjoy the party, okay?”
Luke opened his mouth to fake an excuse but holding her head high in pride, she declared before walking away after asserting her power.
“Hmm,”
William called him cautiously, “Luke,”
When Peach was gone after following his words immaculate, he continued and glared at the couple, hissing at them.
“Peach is right in her place, William,”
Taking a step closer, Luke whispered to him, “Before it gets worse or an unwanted scene is created in my party. I think you guys should leave,”
“....I understand,”
To say William was disappointed was an understatement. His grip on Arabella’s shoulder tightened, ceasing her breaths as he nodded weakly.
“Take care and congratulations,”
“Thanks, you too, my brother,”
After exchanging a side hug and an embarrassing moment which ruptured William’s mood, they returned to their apartment.
Arabella knew it wasn't her fault, yet the rage plastered on William’s features was deeply disturbing.
Biting her bottom lip, his wrath intensified her heartbeats. The silence was deadly. His unreadable expressions frightened her.
The second they were at their executive floor, William roughly dragged her inside their apartment by her arm, causing her to wince.
“Argh, leave me, William-”
She shrieked in pain, trying to free herself, but he merely increased his strength.
Refusing to face his unreasonable anger, she opened her mouth to yell, “I said leave me-”
“Don’t you dare to raise this voice and wake Auntie,” He growled, sending a fretful shiver down her spine.
His fury stiffened her entire being. Her heart rate pulsed higher. She wanted to fight back against being reprimanded for something that wasn’t her fault.
Yet her hands turned cold when she was pushed inside the room, glancing at him to seek compassion but to no avail.
The dim light, the fatal silence, all of it was piercing. When the resonance of ‘clicking’ reached, she was startled, fearing what he would do to her this time.
Gripping her ruined dress, her worried eyes dared to meet his dangerous sapphire ones as he took slow, steady steps toward her with a low growl.
“What is your problem? Couldn’t you bear me re-bonding with my brother?”
For the sake of her aim, she tried to resolve the situation calmly, swallowing hard.
She justified softly, yet with a trace of anger, “She started it! Look what she did: threw her drink and tore my dress. What else was I supposed to do?”
“Oh Please, we both know you aren’t the innocent ones either. You must have done something too,”
“I didn’t swear,”
“Lies,” He scoffed, refusing to believe in her.
Hating how it sounded, she trembled. Her features hardened, glaring at him and decided to act tough as well.
“Okay, let’s say I initiated. So what? Aren’t you the one who was willing to risk it all for my sake?”
She was about to move back but disliking her courage, he grabbed her wrist, propelling her forward. Her chest collided with his hard one.
Blending his breath with hers, face inches apart from hers, he snarled breathlessly.
“Upon the condition you will be locked from this world- just in my room, with me only, forever.”
She was becoming scared by each passing second. They way he his eyes furiously connected with her trepid ones, the iron grip- it all made her whimper.
She tried to resist but he didn’t allow it and grabbed her throat with his other hand, enunciating her undesirable position.
“Not to display you as my pretty little wifey. You are my possession, only my eyes are made for you, not other’s,”
But, impotent to endure the pain of his words, she shut her eyes, shouting wretchedly.
“Enough, William!”
He didn't loosen his grip. Instead, his voice dropped, turning cold and lethal.
“You haven't seen ‘enough’, Bella. Not yet.”
