Her words made my blood boil in intense fury and I felt like my head was going to explode. “This is the madness you’ve been planning all along, right? We were never intimate. There’s no fucking way I am the father of the child you’re carrying. I’ve not been serious about it, but I swear you need mental help, immediately.”
“Don’t be silly, sweetheart. You’re probably getting old and losing your memory, but I remember every single detail of our intense night. If it isn’t real, then how do I possibly remember how hard that beautiful baby, that huge fucking cock, is? How it went deep down my throat and inside of me.” Indy bit her lower lip again, staring down below my belt like my member was a piece of cake she wanted to eat. “How do I possibly remember how your hands trailed down every inch of my body, leaving hickeys on me?” She shut her eyes with a moan. “Gosh, I can't wait to relive that night over and over again.
“You’re foolish.”
I couldn't take her insanity anymore. I was beyond vexed when I grabbed her hand. For some reason, she felt it was a good idea to moan at my touch, raising my fury. I roughly pulled her to the door and threw her out of the office room, not caring if she fell or not.
I slammed the door and returned to my desk to call the security department to get rid of her from the building.
Her words were pounding in my head. I was definitely not the father of her child, but her accusation still pissed me off. I had to tell Mom to call Aunt Lila. Indy needed urgent attention, that was obvious.
Indy was nothing but foolish. I grabbed my phone, my hands were quivering from the heated rage I felt. What was this woman up to?
~ INDY ~
I laughed all the way out of the company and while I walked. “God. He should've seen his face.” I continued laughing, not interested in calling my driver.
I was too distracted by my laughter when I bumped into a hard figure.
“Ouch.” I rubbed my head.
“Indy?” Ian's voice made my laughter leave and a frown formed on my face.
“You? Why are you still in town?”
“We still need to talk. What has gotten into you? I feel so depressed. It still feels like a nightmare. Please tell me it was all a dream and you're really not leaving me.” His once-enchanting emerald eyes ruined my excitement.
“Are you crazy? We. Are. Done! What don't you understand by that? Are you any richer now? No!”
“You didn’t care about my wealth when you were eloping with me. You didn’t care about my wealth when we made our vows. You didn't care about my status when we were determined to raise our child despite all odds.”
“That’s the problem. Your thinking is so retarded. You disgust me. Can't you just let me be? Why are you so desperate? Why are you this stupid and useless? You clearly don't have anything to do; that’s why you’re chasing after a woman that's not the least interested in you.”
“Indy. You're hurting me. When will this end? I promise you I’ll be richer. I'll work even harder. Please. At least for our baby's sake.”
“Stop!” I screamed, drawing attention a bit. “This child has no relationship with you. This child was never even yours.”
“That is a lie. You're only saying this because of your grandfather, I'm certain. Please Indy,” he held my hands.
I yanked my hand from grip and sent a hard slap across his face. “Don’t you dare touch me.”
“Why not? You're my wife.”
“We're divorced. Why is it so hard for the truth to sink into your dumb brain?”
“It's all a lie. You're under a dangerous influence. Please Indy.” He curled his eyebrows, his eyes forming a cloud of tears as he extended his hands to me.
I stepped backwards. “If you touch me, I'll yell at the top of my lungs that you’re trying to rape me.”
He withdrew his hand, sighing. “Please. Can we just—”
“No, Ian. We can't just anything. It’s over between us, forever. Move on with your wretched life.” walked past him but he held my wrist.
“Let me—”
“Indy,” his voice was deeper than normal, sending a shiver down my spine. “If you leave me now, I promise you it'll be the last time you’ll ever see me. I won't run after you again. I'll forget you and finally move on with my life.”
“That’d be just great for the both of us.”
“I'll never accept you again if you try to beg for my forgiveness.”
“Oh, believe me, that'll never happen. Goodbye.” I yanked my hand from his grip and stormed away.
I continued walking till I got to my car.
I felt a pang in my heart at Ian's words. I knew I wanted nothing to do with him, but a part of me was going to miss his endless disturbance and stupidity all in the name of love. I brushed the feeling off, remembering how useless he was to my life and the bigger dreams I had.
I had left Tristan to elope with Ian, because I was blinded by lust, thinking it was love. My relationship with Ian had been going great till I realized he was too poor to take care of me. Grandpa and Kevin had warned me multiple times to stay away from Ian and focus on Tristan. Plus, my family, the Ricardos, had had a long-term family feud with Ian’s family, the Blakes, so our marriage was bound to be destroyed.
Uncle and Grandpa had warned me against diving into the poverty that surrounded Ian, but I didn’t listen. I had tried to prove them wrong, but Ian couldn’t meet my needs. I couldn’t bear the life of poverty and had fored Ian to work even harder by doing extra jobs, but none of them could satisfy my needs.
I had wanted to return home but Grandpa and Uncle Kevin had threatened to kill me if I returned home because they had realized my absence was of greater benefit for them since my cousins could now inherit the properties. I was of benefit to them before leaving but after I had left, they had realized it was way better without me. I had tried to tell my parents, but because of their hatred for Ian’s family, they didn't believe me and only hated Ian for taking me away from them, mostly Dad.
My life had felt really terrible with Ian's attitude changing towards me because he had felt that I was only after him for money. I was really pissed off. He had started to act really strange and began coming home really late. It was evident that he had been cheating on me with different ladies, increasing my pain.
From the pain of Ian’s action and the multiple cute photos of Hazel and Tristan I was always seeing on the internet, I had begun to feel jealous and hated myself for letting go of such a great opportunity to get married to my prince charming.
My nights had always gone by with crying my eyes out and harming myself out of regret for ever leaving Tristan. My love for Tristan began to grow every day, Ian began to feel less important and more useless to me.
Tristan had been really pissed off and broken from the fact that I left him again. Our relationship grew from friendship till when we were children and realized we couldn't do without each other. We then agreed to get married. We both had the mentality in our heads and Tristan loved me more than anything else in the world, but my greedy self couldn't remain faithful to him and I had cheated on him. It turned out that Tristan had found out.
To avoud losing Tristan, I had always ruined his relationships in the most heartbreaking way for him, then I would play the role of the marvelous angel in his life to make him find his way back to me, but my stupid self hadn’t been ready to stay still and I had hopped onto the hottest dude in our high school out of a bet, and had slept with the dude. My Highschool best friend had betrayed me and told Tristan, ruining our relationship once again.
The devil in me only grew even more and had been puffed with desire for Tristan. I committed many atrocities all in the name of my so-called love fantasies for Tristan.
Bad companies and Bad influence had messed with my head all through my life and had made me even more crazy, just the way I preferred it, but I had always been pretending to be the sweet angel in everyone else's eyes until now. I was soaked in the devil’s blood and could do anything to have what I wanted. Now I wanted Tristan and for good this time. Hazel was certainly not going to be a stumbling block in my way.
When realization hit me that I had made a mistake by marrying Ian, it had just been the right time when Grandpa had called. I had been crying that day and he had observed that, asking for the problem. I had to explain everything to him, then he offered to help me out, not only for my benefit, but for theirs as well.
I was on a mission to get Tristan for two reasons, because of my crazy obsession for him and two, because marrying him was going to help acquire his wealth for my personal greed and to satisfy whatever greedy needs Grandpa and Uncle Kevin had against Tristan and his family's company. I didn’t care. I was also hungry for more wealth and ruining anyone’s life, even Tristan’s, didn't matter to me.
I finally arrived home, feeling way more tired than ever. I shut my room door and dropped on the bed, sighing. I shut my eyes, hoping to have a peaceful sleep.
“Indy?” Mom called and I heard the door push open.
Internally groaning, I still shut my eyes, pretending to not have heard her.
“I know you can hear me.” She said, and I could feel her presence in front of me.
“Okay, what?” I snapped, sitting up straight.
“What? So now you're speaking to me rudely?” Her voice was calm and croaky, like she was going to cry any minute from now.
“Fine. What do you want?” I forced a smile at her.
“What is wrong with you? Why are you associating with such evil deeds?”
“What do you mean, Mom?” I asked, placing a stress on Mom.
“Don’t try to play dumb. I overheard you speaking to Luke and Kevin. What plans do you have?”
“It's none of your business.” I groaned in frustration.
“How can it be none of my business? I’m your mother.” Her eyes became glassy. “I received a call from Imogen now. She said Tristan just spoke to her and she explained how you're bothering her son’s marriage. Why were you at Tristan’s office dressed like this?” she sniffled.
“Mom, it's my business, not yours.”
“I’m your mother!” she shouted.
“So what?!” I asked back in an equal tone.
Her eyes widened like something in her had just been shattered. “You’re my only daughter, my only child. I can’t just let you ruin your life like this. Come here, I’ll take you to church. You’re possessed by the devil and need deliverance.” She grabbed my hand.
“Stop it!” I barked, pushing her away to retrieve my hand from her grip. “Don’t cross your boundaries. I'll advise you to stay away from me. I’m way too dangerous now for your useless talks to affect me. I'm determined to get what I want and not even you can stop me, Lila Ricardo.” I asserted, watching her skin become pale.
