A Dirty Little Secret
A Dirty Little Secret
Most of her opponents did not know that they were going to be in a more resounding defeat when it came to that matter. If they ever had the chance to spar with her. Well, it was because, as wild as her personality was, her appetite for sex is next to insatiable. But she never showed such a side of herself to anyone, even to people who have a constant connection with her, like friends and colleagues, or business associates.
She kept it as her dirty little secret. Because she could be misunderstood as a sex addict. A fact, she herself, clearly knew she was not.
Scarlett was sure she could control her cravings for sex. But when she indulges, she makes sure it’s consensual.
Besides, she is a girl.
Not that gender should be a matter to discuss, but she takes it as self-respect.
As long as the other party is not a minor, she doesn’t see what the problem could be. She can protect herself in any way. She has tried every fantasy that her mind can ever conceive. She chooses to try them and see for herself if she would enjoy them and keep them on her bed activities.
In the nature of her profession, Scarlett meets different kinds of people.
And there are even times when she plays with her targets. Well, that is when she deems fit to her liking.
And by playing means, she beds them first before putting a bullet in their forehead.
She gets the job done. She gets paid. She gets her sexual craving satisfied.
Hitting two birds and sometimes more, in one stone. Rumors had it that those who slept with her say that she is a Goddess of Sex.
Because she may look fragile due to her delicate features of Amaranthine flower as a beauty, but she is a beast that seems to suck out the life of every man she would ever sleep with. They will wake up with her already gone, while they, on the other hand, are still unable to regain their strength from a wild and the best shagging they have ever had!
Except for friends, she had it all.
Money.
Brain.
Beauty.
Adventure.
So, when once in a while, she would still feel that emptiness. She fills that void with sensual and sexual satisfaction.
“Dandelion… right?” the man asked after a while, still looking at his glass.
Scarlett frowned. She was a bit startled, but she did not make it obvious. She acted so naturally as she answered.
“Huh?” she weakly answered. She is really not in the mood for anything right now. Not even work.
The other person then turned his head to look at the lady next to him.
Scarlett did not meet the guy's gaze, but she was keenly observing his every move under her nose. She waited for he man to speak again. She wanted to make sure she'd hear his words clearly to see if she heard him say what she thought he said.
The stranger noticed that she was not very entertaining or welcoming. He was not surprised.
He was relieved that her response did not totally express rejection, so he continued to ask what he wanted to know her answer would be.
"You're Dandelion, right?" He spoke with a deep voice as he turned his chair to face her side, aiming to look at her and expressing sincerity on his face.
Scarlett did not move from her position. She snorted.
“What would it cost me if I asked for your help?” the stranger asked.
Scarlett can sense the severity of his words as if he would do anything for her to agree to make a deal with him. She gave it a thought. Right now, she doesn’t want anything other than an honest company. To blatantly say it, she wants to have a friend. A real friend. She might even do anything for what she wants and needs right now. A person to talk to without pretensions, pure friendship, enough care, nag at her if needed, cheer her up if needed, but all she needs is a friend. Not very easy to find, she knew it. Friendship, honest, true friendship, is something not so easy to get or give. But as he needed her service, she wanted to demand friendship in return.
Are you sure you are willing to pay?” she asked back after drinking her bourbon in one swig.
“I am desperate, so I guess I can give you anything you want,” the guy helplessly chuckled. He sounded so sad. It did not miss Scarlett's keen observations.
“I don’t know how you know me, but I am afraid I might ask you for something I have never asked any of my clients as payment ever before,” she signaled for another glass of her drinks to the bartender.
“Whatever it is, as long as I can, I won’t miss the chance to get your help,” he answered. Then he turned his seat to face her side. He extended his right hand and introduced himself. “Voltaire Woods.”
Scarlett glanced at his hand. Without even touching him, she could tell his skin was callus-rough and very manly. Then her eyes slowly looked up to see his face. She smiled when she saw a face too opposite to how ugly his hand looked. He had a very prominent aristocratic facial feature. He is an Adonis on his face, but his hands are like a blacksmith's.
"Wow, good thing the hand is not what people would first see when you meet them," she playfully teased. She could not help herself react naturally as she was already feeling drunk. Not that she didn’t know what she was doing, but she was feeling loose.
Unrestricted. Unconscious. Unmindful.
She was carefree.
Another reason she was not afraid of anything. She is more vigilant subconsciously. Her alertness is doubled when she is in this state. Summing up all that, she is more deadly to be angered when she is drunk.
