Chapter 25 — Epilogue
Many things has been passed down through the bloodline of each human being, but some persons believe that wickedness – wrong doing, and wisdom are not part of such hereditary traits. And the environment in which one was born and raised into, is solely responsible for one’s behavior.
But, how could such be, if some persons who are raised in very upper-class atmospheres and environments, are still, capable of carryout out actions which are considered atrocious and notorious?
The big puzzle for psychologist and psychiatrist to figure out is; why the minds and hearts of man can be so brutally cruel regardless of the hands that were dealt to them after birth? Whether it be from much privileges or constant depravation of emotional support and finances in their lives.
What gives another human being the urge to take a life, to instigate the downfall of another or carryout a terrible assault upon another person’s wellbeing?
Sometimes, not even caring about the age of their victim, their size or their physical strength to resist whatever is been thrown at them.
And then again, why do so many of us, do not go the distance to perform any evil and wicked task on others?
But instead, cringed at the happenings of such violent offenses thrust upon our fellow human beings.
Many of us can feel the urge to slap someone else across the face, because they had disrespected us in some way or the other. But, we are able to control ourselves, move forward and let the hurt feelings passed, knowing very well of the aftermath or the consequences that will follow.
Are these persons just cowards or very rational in their behavior and thinking, allowing them not to violate the physical being of others?
Or, is the wickedness in some, deriving from the ancient spirits of slavery of the Hebrews, the Africans, or any other group of people whose fore-parent had experienced some form of bandage or the cracking of the whips on their backs by their capturers?
It is often said by many of the greats that education will solve our problems. But is this factual?
Because, it has been reported numerous times throughout the years, and in my lifetime for sure, that an educated persons has committed some of the most heinous and hideous crimes ever done in history. Just like the posts, recently posted on Facebook, stating that a police officer and an attorney were arrested for having sex with an eight month infant. And were only caught after their own colleague walked in the room and caught them in the act.
Hearing or reading about the best and the brightest of us - humans, performing such unlawful and immoral behaviors, undoubtedly sends numerous chills down the spines of many persons receiving such disturbing news.
An upholders of the law and a fighter for justice; at one of the higher levels is reportedly involve in something so atrocious, will only leave our society hopeless and filled with much concerns for the future generation.
Aren’t they the educated ones who citizens; young and old, seeks security and right guidance from?
Therefore, it’s obvious to me and even to others that education is not our solver or savior from the brutal and barbaric hearts and minds in our society today or, in our world at large. But some other force that needs to be identify and be dealt with, as soon as possible.
Similar to a fool who has won millions of dollars, will remain as such with his millions, so will a barbaric human being will remain as such, with his or her educational credentials in their position. Ready to strike down whomever and whatever irritates them, or provoke their stillness or quietness. Because, their wickedness that is weaved into their blood still remains there untreated; if such is ever achievable.
Way before the me-too revolution, there has been educated and powerful men and women, although, more men than women, assaulting those working below them? And at times, sending some of these persons to an early grave.
Unfortunately, sometimes, some of these perpetrators are not caught. Allowing them to carry through with their life’s journey with all normality and then enter their graves without paying the price for their dreadful crimes and acts of sin.
Thank God for technological inventions. Because it is through this avenue that many of these crimes come to our awareness and at other times; the newspapers, and that is if one cares to read it or is able to afford it. So, one can imagine the unreported cases that we completely know nothing about or have not sounded off in our hearing by word of mouth.
My opinion on this matter of wicked hearts and minds is to start with socializing our children in the manner of how to communicate when feeling stressed, annoyance with other person’s behaviors or how to control their flaring tempers or temperament. Because running down education and leaving no room for social relationships – reasoning and playtime, is a sure concoction for human disaster.
The slave master syndrome is still alive and well in our society and in the hearts and minds of many persons in our world. Especially those of dark skin. And the need of that spirit to be in control of other persons wellbeing and watch them be humiliated, suffer and being in a state of depravation, is still also active in our world today among many of those whose forefathers were the perpetrators of the slave movement.
Hence, the need to rid one’s self from violence, racism, malicious thinking, wicked plotting, and the desire to eliminate lives, innocent or not, is still unsettling. And it’s only the unleashing of that which is pure and divine, (Love) can conquer such a force or these forces that exists around us presently.
While some children in their adult years; carries out the exact same thing, like their parents had done in their younger years Example; (drinking, smoking, sexual molestation, physically abusing their loved ones). There are some children that will do everything in their power to do the opposite of what they had witnessed or experienced in their childhood years, and swear they will never be anything like their parents were to them. Maybe, because it was unpleasant or felt wrong to them at those moments.
But why would anyone want to repeat the evil deeds allotted out to them or unpleasantness that was done to them or to others around them?
Why would they want to partake in this act of physical violence and sexual abuse without even thinking about the consequences of the law or the pain they would be inflicting on a next person or their own family members?
I must say, with my keen observation, these kinds of behavior travel or transpire from one generation to the next, and is escalating and taking on a new format in our world. Because nothing was done in the previous years to mend the wounds of slavery or any kind of abuse or violence that were placed on a large group of people such as the slave trade, monetary or otherwise. Nipping it in the butt, or, catching it at the roots, is not a form of cliché in these matters.
These situations need addressing as quickly as possible, or else, the desensitizing of the human heart and mind will only grow worse. Similarly to the number of children who are gone missing each day without no one knowing about their whereabouts or if, they will ever return home to their parents, dead or alive.
The big question remains, how do we annihilate - destroy these kinds of behaviors in our society and in our world at large?
My solution is to start with the socialization and resocialization of our children in our homes and inside our learning institutions, globally. We need to start giving these children tools to protect themselves or have others who are always present with them. Because their little body weight cannot manage to fight off some of these husky and robust individuals, especially, men who are after them for the slave trade, sex trade, or any other unkindly act they are planning on carrying out with or on their lives.
Hence, we just have to start gearing them up for the rough roads ahead.
