Chapter One Hundred Seventy Six

Roscoe used his left wing to stop one of the cloaked people from running away as Norberta had one pinned down that was screaming and pleading for their life. The Snatcher looked up at the large bi-pedal dragon in horror as Roscoe stomped towards it slowly. Each time the man tried to run away, the dragon knocked him down by stomping his foot making the ground shake violently. Once the man fell and injured his leg to the point where he could no longer stand, he attempted to crawl away. Roscoe tilted his head to the side as he bared his teeth, watching the Snatcher trying to escape. "Roscoe, don't play with your food!"  He heard Anora called out to him. With a puff of steam pouring from his nostrils, Roscoe lifted one of legs and crushed the Snatcher to death, not interested in making the person a meal. Norberta on the other hand, had other plans for the Death Eater she had caught. Norberta glanced down at the screaming being that was reaching for his wand, scraping his nails against the stone of the castle. She pressed her claws into him further hoping to make the person become quieter as the screaming was becoming annoying. However, it only made the thing scream louder. With a growl, she crouched down and ripped open the person's throat allowing the blood to pour out in a puddle that pooled beneath the man's head. The dragons discarded the bodies to the side before turning back to their handlers that were still dodging spells from others. At one point, Charlie was struck back into the wall, leaving Anora to let a small cry as she ran over to him to help him to his feet. He was slightly dazed from the hit, but he wasn't injured. Norberta's eyes were set on the person who had attacked her handler and opened her mouth burning the person to a complete crisp. Another tried to get at Charlie and Anora while they were distract but Roscoe snatched the person up by the robes and threw him into the air. When he caught the body, the two handlers along with everyone in the distance could hear the back snapping before Roscoe swallowed the body whole. "Oh Roscoe..." Anora grimaced as she had Charlie lean against her. "Well, at least we know one thing for sure." "What's that?" Charlie looked at her. "Anora likes her meat well done, and Roscoe likes his rare." "You're really sick in the head, An. Really." "I'm just trying to lighten the mood around here. It's slightly depressing if you haven't noticed." "Depressing? I thought this was a great party." Charlie stood up straight as he regained complete feeling in his legs as Roscoe and Norberta had either eaten or driven off the remaining beings in the area. "I think it's time we find our way back to the others." Anora nodded in agreement before turning to the dragons. "You two play catch up when you're done with....this." She said as Roscoe looked over to her with a blood stained snout. "Take your time." As they neared the other side of the castle, they heard the sounds of cheers. "Aww, I'm going to be so pissed if we missed everything." Anora said. "I mean it." Arriving on the scene of everyone cheering, with Voldemort's body dead in the center, Anora and Charlie exchanged glances with everyone hugging in celebration. "Dammit!" Anora stomped her foot. "We missed it. "We should have left earlier-" Charlie just shook his head at her before drawing her into a hug. "You're absolutely mental. The battle is over and you're complaining!" He said with a small laugh as he held the sides of her face. Anora gave him a slight pouty look. "You know how I like my action, Charles." "I know." He said leaning his forehead against hers. "But look at all at what we accomplished tonight, An. Roscoe and Norberta did it. They helped in the battle. We flew all the way here from Romania and had them fighting on our side. Who needs the action when we are the action?" Anora nuzzled into him. "Alright, you have a point." she said to him before kissing him lightly. Suddenly, Roscoe had followed through with catching up to them as he landed behind them with a loud boom that startled everyone. Norberta flew overhead and landed on the other side of the clearing. Charlie could see everyone huddling together nervously. "No need to panic!" Charlie called out to everyone as he raised his hands to calm everyone. "Yeah," Anora decided to chime in and help, " they won't attack, they're far too full!" Charlie clapped his hands over his face. "Too much?" Anora looked at him. "Just a little." "I mean, it's not like it isn't true.  Roscoe ate a good amount, I'm pretty sure he managed to eat at least three times more than Norberta did." "Yeah, let's not tell people that, An."
