Chapter One Hundred Sixty Three

No one seemed all that pleased with Charlie and Anora taking the girls back to Romania with them, fearful that the children could be hurt by the dragons. However, Anora and Charlie argued that the dragons were a lot safer to be around than the Death Eaters that decided to show up unexpectedly. Charlie was not going to put his family at risk and asked for his parents to trust in his decision making. Molly and Arthur couldn't argue with him, after all, Charlie was an adult and a new father, it was his family and he had say over the matter not them. They had no choice but to let them go. Anora's parents put up a fight as well, but Anora reassured them that it wouldn't be forever. They had a job to do for the Order that Dumbledore had asked of them before passing and they planned on following it through. Iggy had become the girls' protector and anyone that was going to try and cause harm to them was going to have to go through the cat first. But while Anora knew long before the girls were born that Iggy would be accepting of any child of hers, she was curious to see how Roscoe and Norberta would handle the idea of two new faces at the Sanctuary. Charlie was more than hesitant when it came to the idea of introducing Stella and Eliza to the dragons. In fact, he didn't think it was a good idea at all. Anora thought it was a great idea, the earlier the better is what she continued to tell him. Charlie asked to wait until the girls were a little older as they arrived at the sanctuary, but it seemed they didn't have a say in the matter. As soon as they appeared in front of their home, Norberta and Roscoe were resting outside the home with several workers trying to get them up. "What's going on here?" Anora asked as she held onto Stella who was awake and alert unlike her sister who was attempting to rest against her father. The workers looked over and immediately seemed all too relieved to see the two. "They must have known you two were coming or something." One of the men said. "They left the valley this morning and have been here ever since. We've been trying to get them to move..." Anora waved them off, all too happy to see Roscoe as the dragon's eyes were focused on her, but also on little Stella. The large dragon picked himself up and made his way over to her slowly, however, Charlie pulled Anora back and placed her behind him. "Charlie-" "Anora..really..we don't know how he's going to react!" "Charlie it's Roscoe...not Sultan!" "He's also a dragon." Anora gasped. "What?!" Charlie groaned and pinched at the bridge of his nose at her dramatic reaction. "Roscoe...Roscoe is a dragon...no...it can't be!" The sanctuary workers smirked at one another, glad that the two were finally back. "My whole life has been a lie!" Anora called out. 'Roscoe is a dragon! What else have I been missing out on?" It was funny to see the two different parenting s of Charlie and Anora. Charlie had quickly taken over as the responsible and more cautious parents, wanting to make sure that his daughters were safe no matter the situation. Anora held the same protective nature over wanting to keep her children safe, however, she was obviously the much more laid back one of the two. "I just don't think this is a good idea, that's all!" Charlie huffed. Roscoe didn't agree with the red-haired man as he made his way closer, Charlie wasn't playing around though as he drew his wand, fully prepared to try and take down Roscoe if he had to. Roscoe eyed the wand before turning his head back to Anora with a look that just said "really?" Anora shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to argue as Roscoe lowered his head just to sniff at the children in their arms. Norberta made her way over as well, curious about the bundles in their arms. She saw the offspring as soon as she was close enough. One in each of the handlers' arms, one awake and one asleep. She could smell their scent as well, the mixture of their parents. What she really noticed though, was the protective stance Charlie was in as he watched the two dragons very closely. Normally, he was so warm and welcoming, but the man before them was a new father and very protective over his young. The dragons made no fast movement towards the group, just sniffing and observing before moving back, allowing Charlie to calm down and lower his wand. Suddenly, Anora began laughing at how tense and quiet the area was as everyone seemed to be waiting for the worst to happen. Before Charlie could ask what she was laughing at, Anora walked out from behind him and walked in the direction of their home. Passing Roscoe, she gave the dragon a pat on the head before walking up the stairs. "It's good to be home! Oh my Merlin...there is dust everywhere in here!" Anora's voice rang out as they all heard her cough. "ROSCOE, YOU COULD HAVE AT LEAST DUSTED WHILE WE WERE GONE!" Roscoe lowered his head to the ground like a scolded child. Charlie shook his head before looking down at Eliza. "Not only is she your mother, but the mother of dragons as well."
