Chapter 76 Seventy Six

Chapter 76 Seventy Six
IVY POV

I tried to focus on the screen, really, I did. But it was impossible. Every time I glanced at him, Ronan was there… leaning back casually, one arm draped across the seat, that infuriatingly smug grin still on his face.

Halfway through the opening scene, he nudged me with his elbow. “You’re not paying attention, are you?”

“I am!” I snapped, though my voice sounded weaker than I intended. My eyes, however, betrayed me, flicking toward him again.

He chuckled low, that teasing sound curling straight through my chest. “Sure you are,” he said, leaning closer. “But if you’re so focused… why are you biting your lip?”

I froze, heat creeping up my neck. “I… I’m not,” I mumbled, hoping my face didn’t show exactly what he already knew.

“Liar,” he whispered, and I felt his hand brush mine on the armrest. Just a touch, casual, but enough to make my pulse skip.

The movie started, but I couldn’t concentrate. Every sound, every scene faded into the background while his fingers lingered near mine, brushing once, twice, teasing.

“You know,” he said, voice low, playful, “if you keep biting your lips and making those noises, I might have to make this movie a lot more… interactive.”

I swallowed hard, trying to ignore the fluttering in my stomach. “Interactive?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

“Oh, yes,” he murmured, leaning closer, lips dangerously near my ear. “I think you know exactly what I mean.”

I shivered, both from the closeness and the way my body was betraying me. I’d told myself this was just a movie, just a fun distraction, nothing more… but sitting here with him, alone in a theater, it was impossible to pretend.

Ronan smiled, watching me squirm in my seat, clearly enjoying the effect he had on me. “Relax, Ivy. Just enjoy the movie… and maybe enjoy me a little too,” he whispered, and my heart leapt, betraying me with every word.

I groaned quietly, gripping the armrest, trying to focus, but I knew the only thing I’d be watching tonight wasn’t the screen.

It was him.

And maybe, secretly, I didn’t want it any other way.

His hand slid deliberately, slowly, brushing over my thigh. I swallowed hard, heat pooling low in my stomach. My heart was hammering, and I could feel myself trembling under his touch.

“Ronan” I whispered, trying to mask the tremor in my voice.“Let me watch the movie,” i murmured.

“Of course, Ivy,” he said smoothly, voice teasing. “I’m just… you know… paying attention to the film.” His hand lingered, moving just a fraction higher, testing me.

I tried to glance at the screen, tried to pretend nothing was happening, but his presence was impossible to ignore. Every nerve in my body screamed as he leaned closer, the movie fading completely into the background.

“Focus,” I muttered weakly, though my voice lacked conviction.

He chuckled low, that deep, teasing sound that always made me weak. “Sure, I’m focusing… on the movie.” His hand stayed where it was, his grin dangerous and infuriatingly confident.

And just like that, I realized… tonight wasn’t going to be about the movie at all.

His lips found my neck, soft at first, almost teasing, then harder, more insistent. I tilted my head back without thinking, giving him better access, my breath hitching as his teeth grazed lightly, sending sparks through me.

“Ronan…” I whispered, voice shaky, half warning, half plea.

He smirked against my skin, dragging kisses down my jaw, over my collarbone, and back up, nipping and sucking, leaving little trails of heat. My fingers fisted in his shirt, pulling him closer, heart hammering in my chest.

“You feel that?” he murmured, lips brushing mine for a brief, hungry kiss. “Every part of you wants this… wants me.”

I swallowed hard, trying to steady myself, but his hands slid over my sides, tracing curves, teasing, exploring. My knees weakened, and I leaned fully into him, helpless under his touch.

“I’m not stopping,” he whispered against my ear, voice rough, low, and dangerous. “Not tonight…”

And with that, he pressed himself closer, heat against heat, lips and hands claiming me, and I knew… I wasn’t going to fight him anymore.

I shivered as his hands roamed freely, sliding from my sides to my thighs, fingers brushing lightly over the sensitive skin, making me swallow hard. My body betrayed me, leaning into him, responding before my brain could catch up.

His lips left my neck just long enough to meet mine in a fierce, consuming kiss. Tongue, teeth, lips…he claimed me completely, and I moaned against him, gripping his shoulders to keep from falling.

“Ronan…” I gasped between kisses, my knees nearly buckling as his hand slid higher, brushing dangerously close.

He smirked against my lips, the heat of his body pressing me into the seat, his voice low and teasing. “You like that, don’t you? You love it when I do this…”

I couldn’t answer with words. I could only arch into him, breath coming in shaky bursts, heart hammering. Every kiss, every touch, every grazing finger made my body burn.

He tilted my chin up, capturing my lips again. “Ivy.. I’m going to take you right here right now..”

And even though my mind screamed to stop, to remember we are in a public place … every fiber of me wanted him, needed him, craved him urgently
