Chapter 15 Please Continue to Love Me.

“Zoe pwede ba tigilan mo na lang ako. Zoe I’m tired of this scene. My heart is really unstable because of what you are doing. So stop messing my life.”

“Lex please. Don’t be mad. I really want you to believe me.”

“Zoe di parin kasi mawala sa isip ko ang sinabi mo nung nakaraan, you told me to move on but now your here. Diko na kasi alam ang paniniwalaan ko.”

Lexie still indenial that she felt the love of Zoe. Hindi niya masabi na natatakot lang siya sa sasabihin nang iba.

“Alam ko gulong gulo ka na Lex pero lahat to is real. Paniwalaan mo naman sana ako.”

“Gustong gusto kita paniwalaan pero di ko maiwasan na magresist. Zoe alam mo bang di madaling mahalin ka dahil sa mga taong nakapaligid sayo. They were all judging on me. Natatakot ako na baka pag nagpaubaya ako masasaktan lang ako.”

“Don’t mind them Lex, okay? Ako lang ang tingnan mo. Ako lang ang pakinggan mo.”

“It’s easy for you to say dahil your not in my situation. Nahihirapan nako Zoe kung ano ang gagawin.”

“ Alam kong you feel so much pressure Lex I’m sorry for doing this to you. It’s just when you said goodbye last time I’m starting to questions what I said na you need to move on. Di pala yun ang gusto ko mangyari.”

“Yeah you should be sorry Zoe dahil you’re the reason bakit ako nandito. Kung di mo lang sana ako hinalikan that night di na sana gugulo pa ang isip ko.”

“Diko din naman alam Lex na mararamdaman ko ito. But my heart has changed that time when you said goodbye. I thought I would be okay but I didn’t . I was scared that I will totally lost you. I feel miserable that moment you left. That’s why I follow you on the bar. It breaks my heart seeing you with Kim. I want that time to be me on your side not her.”

“Zoe, if this is just an experimenting process of grieving for you please stop messing me. Wag mo na akong paasahin pa. Please I beg you. Matagal akong umasa.”

“Im not experimenting Lex. All the things I said and do now is true.”

“So what you’re saying that you just quickly start falling in love with me? Come on Zoe. I know you still miss Paige. If this just a rebound or a just a pity gift for me please stop this. I don’t need it.”

Napahinga ng malalim si Zoe.

“It’s true I still miss Paige and I can’t promise you that I will stop missing her. She was the biggest part of my life and the mother of my child. But you, you’re the one that wants my heart now. I’m start falling in love with you again Lex, believe me. That’s the reason why I’m here. I understand that you have doubt on me loving you again but if you will give me a chance to let me show my love for you again I promise I will prove to you that this all true.

Nagulat si Lexie ng marinig iyun kay Zoe. Halos mapatalon ang puso niya sa kasiyahan but part of her heart still scared that this Zoe felt is just a result of her loneliness.

“Please don’t move on Lex. Please don’t give your heart to Kim. Please continue to love me.”

“Zoe I’m afraid that all of this is just temporary. I’m honestly terrified to gamble again my love to you.”

Hinaplos ni Zoe ang pisngi ni Lexie and place her hand to Lexie’s chest.

“ I know your afraid Lex but please hear this. I beg you to hear what my heart says.”

Niyakap ng mahigpit ni Lexie si Zoe at masuyo itong hinalikan. Zoe kiss her back

The pain of two hearts starts to collide and start to trust one another. The tears of Lexie began to fall.

“Hey why are you crying?”

“I just cant believe na mamahalin mo akong muli. If it’s a dream don’t wake me up Zoe.”

“Don’t worry its not a dream okay. This moment is all true.”

Niyakap muli ni Zoe si Lexie.

“Zoe can I ask you a favor?”

“Yes what is it?”

“Pwede ba natin esecreto muna lahat ng ito. Ayaw ko muna na mapag usapan nang iba ang tungkol sa atin.”

“But. Gusto kita ipakilala pag balik natin sa city.”

“Please. Ayaw kong pangunahan na naman tayo ng ibang tao. Ano nalang ang sasabihin nila pag nalaman na were together again and your girlfriend now is your ex.”

“What did you say Lex?”

“What? Yung Ayaw kong pangunahan tayo.”

“No di yan. Yung pang last mong sinabi.”

Napangiti si Zoe.

“That your my girlfriend? Oh sorry I thought.”

“Are you really my girlfriend miss Rodriguez?”

“Di pa ba? I thought kasi.”

“I just want to sure it. Its so wonderful to hear those words again.”

Days later.

“Damn it! Sino ba talaga nagfefeed sa mga press na siraan si Lexie.”

“Zoe anak. Please calm down. I already hire an investigator para sa mga eto.”

“Dad. I feel sorry for Lexie I know di pa siya nakakamove on sa last issue about being a gold digger and now about naman sa realationship niya kay Kim binibigyan nila ng kahulugan. This is the reason why she want our relationship to be keep in secret.”

“Anak. That’s what I told you. It’s not easy to be in that life of yours that’s why you must be strong. And for Lexie I know she can handle this kasi alam niyang andiyan ka.”

“I thought our power and money is enough to protect my love ones from negativity but I’m wrong dad.”

“Wag mong hayaan ang mga taong sirain ka anak. Prove them that your strong. Prove Lexie you love her and your ready to fight for her. Yan yung kailangan niya this time.”

Nahinto ang usapan ng mag ama ng dumating ang investigator na hinire ni diego.

“Zoe this is the investigator I hired.”

“Sir this is the report you’ve ask.”

“Please give that to my daughter.”

Binuksan ni Zoe ang envelope. Agad niya nakita ang mga website at blog na may article kay Lexie. At nakita ang name ng may ari ng post. Tiningnan niya ang picture pero di niya ito nakilala but when she slide the next page and see the picture na may ka meet ito. Zoe was shock to see the person.

“Dad?”

Pinakita niya ito sa ama.

“As I expected.”

“Dad this is not true.”

“I knew your shock right now but Zoe. It’s been a while since I have suspicion on her. Di ko pa lang sinasai sayo because wala pa akong enough evidence.”

“No dad I cannot believe that she will do this to me. Ate Trisha will never hurt me.”
