Suddenly, Felix’s heart seemed to be pierced by countless silver needles.
“Renee, I admit I was wrong about the past–but that’s where it should stay, in the past. So stop dwelling on it.
“Come back with me and let’s forget everything that happened.
“Don’t hold on to resentment. I won’t even blame you for what happened between you and that man.”
Jeromy had been in the business world for many years and had seen shameless people, but this was the first time he had seen someone so shameless.
He raised an eyebrow and asked, “This is the person you once liked? That sucks.
“If I had known you liked this kind of person, I should have snatched you away back then.”
Renee did not say anything, because Jeromy was right. She was blind to fall in love with such a rotten guy.
If she were given another chance, she would never fall in love with such a scumbag again.
Felix’s self–esteem suffered a great blow, his face turned red and white and his eyes were sinister as he yelled, “It is not for an outsider like you to judge what happened between Renee and me!”
Felix did not care about anything and was ready to drag Renee’s wheelchair away.
The moment Felix’s hand touched the wheelchair, Renee stood up and slapped him in the face.
“You are the one who is an outsider here. You should be secretly happy that I didn’t call the police to arrest you and Iva. Now you dare to break into my territory and shout. I think you are the one who is risking your life!”
The pain on Felix’s face was not as great as the shock he felt. “You… you can actually stand up?”
“Why? Surprised, are you?
“Back then, you hired someone to run me down for Iva’s sake and even had the doctor delay my treatment.
“But look at me now–I’m still standing. Is that what’s bothering you?”
When Renee talked about the past, there was no other emotion in his eyes except hatred. The blood in Felix’s body froze and he was afraid when he saw the deep hatred in Renee’s
eyes.
He thought that when he saw Renee again, once he said some nice words and made some promises, Renee would forgive him as before.
Felix’s throat was hoarse and his face was pale as he said, “I am the one who let you down for all these things. If you want to blame me, I have nothing to say.

“But apart from that, we’ve had a lot of fun over the years, haven’t we?”
Renee slapped Felix on the other side of his face again, sneering, “I am also having a lot of fun when I hit you now.”
Felix felt guilty at first, but Renee slapped him again and again in front of so many people, so all his guilt disappeared completely.
“Enough! Renee, even if I did those wrong things, you have already punished me, what else do you want?
“This is the Bosch Group. I am the president of the Pearson Group and also their partner. If you continue to make trouble like this, don’t blame me for not giving you a face and throwing you out directly!”
Jeromy sneered. He had seen stupid people, but he had never seen anyone as stupid as this.
He came to Renee and whispered, “Your legs have just recovered, sit down first. There’s no need to get angry over this kind of person.”
Renee’s legs were indeed trembling a little and she sat down after hearing Jeromy’s words.
“Felix, I originally thought you were just a scumbag in relationships, but I didn’t expect you to be so pretentious in business. No wonder Pearson Group has failed after so many years of listing.
“It would be strange if it could be listed in the hands of someone like you.”
Renee rolled her eyes in disdain, her lips curled up in mockery.
Felix clenched his fists, his jaw tightening as his voice turned cold and cruel, “Renee, don’t delude yourself into thinking you can change your fate just because you’ve latched onto some rich man.
“You have no parents–did you ever stop to wonder why he’s helping you? It’s because of your face. That’s all he sees.
“Apologize to me now and come back with me, so I might still forgive you. But if you don’t -when the day comes that you’re tossed aside like trash–don’t even think of crawling back. Even if you’re on your knees, I won’t spare you a glance.”
Renee glanced at Felix coldly and said sarcastically, “Psycho.”
Then, her eyes fell on Manager Sterling who was walking slowly behind her.
“Manager Sterling, this is the partner you found for Bosch Group? You dare to cooperate with a company owned by such a person?”
Felix looked back and said, “Manager Sterling, even if I can’t cooperate with your company, we are still business partners after all, but Bosch Group tolerated these two people to humiliate me like this!
“If you can’t give me a satisfactory explanation today, I can’t guarantee what the reputation of your Bosch Group will be in the industry!”
