Chapter 200 Kill You Immediately
Chapter 200 Kill You Immediately
Ophelia stumbled out of the bridal boutique, but the unmarked black vehicles had already sped away, leaving only a cloud of dust swirling in their wake.
She stood on the curb, her face deathly pale, trembling uncontrollably, her heart racing so fast her palms turned ice-cold.
She remained rooted to the spot, her eyes reddening with anxiety, utterly at a loss for what to do.
Within seconds, a shop assistant rushed out, clutching a phone in her hand, calling out urgently, "Ms. Windsor left her phone in the fitting room!"
The words were like a lifeline. Ophelia immediately grabbed the phone, her fingers trembling frantically as she dialed Mason's number.
The call was answered almost instantly.
"Babe, why are you calling me now? Missing me already~?" came the man's affectionate voice through the receiver.
Ophelia's voice broke as she cried out, "Mason! Something terrible happened! Stella was dragged away by a group of strangers!"
That single sentence obliterated all warmth on the other end of the line.
The air fell into deathly silence. Every trace of gentleness vanished from Mason's demeanor. His expression turned to ice in an instant, a terrifying murderous aura radiating from him. "Who were they? Is she hurt?"
The rapid-fire questions hit Ophelia like hammer blows. She shook her head frantically. "I don't know... I couldn't see anything clearly. They moved too fast—I had no chance to stop them..."
Realizing Ophelia knew nothing, Mason wasted not another second and hung up immediately.
His eyes blazing with lethal intent, he barked orders into his comm device, his voice savage and chilling: "Mobilize every available man in the city. Lock down all exits!"
Meanwhile, on the other side.
Stella had been blindfolded throughout the bumpy ride. Eventually, she was roughly dragged out of the vehicle and shoved into a secluded, heavily guarded private villa.
When the blindfold was removed, harsh light made her squint. Once her vision cleared, she immediately spotted Nicole standing in the center of the living room.
The girl wore her usual spoiled yet gloomy expression, arms crossed, staring coldly at Stella with undisguised hatred in her eyes.
Stella quickly composed herself. Even trapped in danger, she showed no trace of panic. Her expression remained calm and detached as she looked directly at Nicole and asked coolly, "You went through all this trouble to have me kidnapped. What exactly do you want?"
Nicole sneered, hatred churning in her eyes, making no effort to hide her malice. "I do hate you. I hate you enough to want to kill you with my own hands."
"But this time, I'm not the one who ordered your abduction."
Just as Stella pondered this, slow, steady footsteps echoed from the second-floor staircase.
A middle-aged man with a full head of white hair descended the stairs. His features were stern and imposing, his entire bearing exuding the oppressive aura of someone accustomed to absolute authority.
The man wore a dark Zhongshan suit with a thick, translucent imperial jade thumb ring. His powerful presence and sharp, ruthless gaze created an overwhelming sense of intimidation.
Upon seeing him, Nicole instantly shed all her hostility. Her demeanor transformed completely—she lowered her head obediently, hurried forward, and called out sweetly, "Dad."
Hearing that form of address, Stella understood immediately.
Larry Stafford looked down at Stella from his elevated position, his eyes full of contempt and disdain. After scanning her from head to toe, his tone dripping with scorn, he cut straight to the point: "So you're the woman who bewitched my son, making him reckless enough to insist on marrying you?"
Stella straightened her spine, meeting his gaze calmly and without submission. "That's right."
Larry's fingers lightly caressed the cold, heavy imperial jade ring on his thumb, his eyes sinister. "I truly can't understand what Mason sees in you."
"Here's what we'll do—I'll give you enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life. Leave Mason immediately and never appear before him again."
Stella didn't hesitate for a second. Her eyes resolute, she refused firmly, word by word: "I won't leave him."
"That's not your decision to make." Larry's expression darkened, his tone laden with threat. "The Windsor family may seem to hold some status in Novaria, but before the Stafford family, you're nothing."
"If you insist on refusing to leave Mason, I can strike at any moment and destroy the entire Windsor family. Consider the consequences carefully."
This blatant family threat did not make Stella yield.
Instead, a cold, mocking smile curved her lips. She looked directly at Larry, replying fearlessly, "I wonder how many women the Stafford family had to threaten to get where they are today."
"Fortunately, Mason is nothing like you."
Her words turned Larry's face livid. Violent energy surged around him as he barked harshly, "Sharp-tongued little bitch! Teach her a lesson—make her understand her place!"
The bodyguards beside him immediately stepped forward, gripping Stella's shoulders from both sides and pinning her firmly in place, rendering her immobile.
Nicole eagerly stepped forward, volunteering herself, her eyes gleaming with vindictive satisfaction, desperate to teach Stella a lesson.
Stella struggled futilely, her shoulders aching under the bodyguards' grip. She raised her eyes to Nicole, who was advancing step by step, her gaze still sharp as she warned coldly, "Nicole, if you dare lay a finger on me today, I swear I'll make you pay."
Nicole scoffed. "You think you're leaving here today?"
With that, Nicole picked up a small knife and aimed it toward Stella's face.
Just as the blade was about to graze Stella's skin, four or five bodyguards came flying through the doorway from outside.
Before anyone in the room could react, a deep, savage male voice—powerful enough to silence the entire villa—rang out with earth-shattering fury:
"Nicole, if you dare touch her, I'll kill you right now."
