Epilogue

It wasn’t easy being dead. When the world believed you were dead, you had to stay so. A new life was in order and she had taken Kenji’s offer. Getting off the helicopter as it landed and seeing Kenji in all of his handsome glory.

She approached him and he spread his arms wide accepting her.

She had killed Takahiro. What she had been chasing all her life and without that there was nothing else driving her. That was her sole purpose and now it was gone. The original gang was dead, but they had built it from the ground up, and Sachi was okay. She could lead it.

Karou wasn’t happy and even wanted to come with her. But her duty first and foremost was to the gang, Phantom, just like her mother. Yes they had been lot of screaming and tears, and they didn’t want her to leave, but she had to.

She just couldn’t do it. She had a new life now. As Lady Goya.

“Are you ready Mrs. Goya?” he held his hand out for her to take.

This question was one that would change her life for good. After this, no more gang business, no more guns and no more betrayal. All that would be behind her.

“Yes” she replied and they shared a kiss before he ushered her away.

This was her now. A Lady.

“Do you miss him?” he asked.

“No” she replied.

“Do you regret it?” he asked.

“He’s not worth it”.

He opened the door and she got in. And if the situation should arise, sister dear would take care of it. He got in after her and now they could kiss like they meant it.

“……..and I wasn’t quick enough. It was my fault” Jun ended her narration.

“Yes it was your fault!” Lee boomed.

His mother couldn’t even say anything. She sat silently in the kitchen her face red and staring at the wall blankly.

“You were his guard, his right-hand, his very best and you couldn’t do anything. What good are you for?!” he demanded.

She ignored that all that talk was coming from her cousin.

“And that mask….on the half of your face? What is that? Why is that there? Just get out! All of you get out!” he yelled.

“My face is like this because of your father’s murderer. My uncle. Don’t you want to know who it was?”

“Who was it?” he asked.

“Your friend Takashi” she said softly.

Lee laughed. “You’re joking. He’s family and he….”

“He said that he had a job before he left the first time and what did you think that entailed? He was working for multiple gangs and selling his work for a profit?”

He couldn’t believe it. “He’d never….”

She dropped pictures on the table and it was ones of him on the field.

“And you thought he was just good in chemistry” she said and she removed her mask.

“Put it back! Put it back!” he yelled his hands out.

She placed it back onto her face. “I can’t believe…..why would he kill my father?”

“I don’t know, but I saw him do it” she said. “And my face is enough proof”.

Lee looked to his mother and back to his cousin. He was conflicted right now.

“He wanted you to take over and he’d want you to get revenge”.

Takashi was his brother. Inseparable since they were young and he had gone ahead to kill his father, but it didn’t make sense. He had gotten involved when he had said nothing was going on. He lied, and killed his father. He looked to his mother who was crying now.

You didn’t mess with one’s father. His dad was gone, his mum was broken and his family was broken. And his cousin was a monster.

Now wasn’t the time for emotions. There were no emotions in his father’s world and he knew that. But there was revenge. Getting even. Takashi had taken someone from him, two to be exact, and since he had no one to take away from him he’d just take his life.

He stood up and when he did that, he got the attention of everyone in the room. Jun knew he had accepted and she couldn’t be prouder.

“Listen up! My father is gone now and I’m in charge and things will still be the same. But for my first order, find Takashi Fujiwara and when you do bring him to me alive”.

“Yes boss” Jun got on one knee. He said nothing would change, so it wasn’t going to change. And everyone else got on one knee.

“Don’t worry mum” he said to himself. “I’ll make him pay”.

The End.
