Epilogue-2

He did the same thing with these letter and picture like the first one, properly kept them back in the envelope before walking in the kitchen. Unlike the first, the kitchen was stocked with food and groceries. Before coming here Randhir make sure that everything in kitchen is fresh and available. He still can't cook much and doesn't want Sanyukta cook when they are here but after sometime eating out everyday becomes boring and how can he miss the chance to cook with her. Just a sophisticated sentence to describe the act which involve playing with ingredients as cooking. The letter was on the counter, the same counter where the food had been put to various use. The various use which do not involve eating, at least not from the plate. The memories were enough to make a shameless smirk appear on his face. Damn! How much he love it when she let him have the control yet she fight for the control at the same time. The third envelope was no different then first and second. Same white envelope with little red hearts. Inside like other two envelope was a picture and a letter. It was a picture from hospital when Sanyukta was admitted there after the operation. 'A stupid ugly selfie.' As Sanyukta like to call it. But he love this picture dearly. Yes, Sanyukta was looking pale and weak but this picture was to tell her that he love her regardless how she look. This was his phone's background for a long time. The best thing about this picture was their smile. Real and stress free. I know how much you love this stupid ugly picture. But let me tell you something I love this picture too. This picture tells me no matter what I go through you will always be there hold me. Thank you for being in my toughest time. It just made me love you more. At times your love overwhelms me Randhir, and that was one such time. PS-I love you. PSS- you will forget about the line where I confessed my love for this stupid picture. Let's just refer it as 'stupid ugly selfie.' Your next letter is in the bedroom. Go fetch it quickly. Keeping the picture and letter back in the envelope like first two Randhir made his way to their room. His fingers lingered over the wall which was covered with handprints in different color. Their handprints. He smiled. Sanyukta decided to paint that walk but they end doing this instead. Every corner of this house has some of their memories. He entered the room to find the envelope kept in middle of the bed. "I hope this is the last treasure hunt letter." He muttered to himself. No matter how much he was enjoying it, he really want to meet his princess now. The fourth envelope was slightly bigger in comparison to other three envelope. But it was same in appearance wise like the rest. White with little red hearts. It was a family picture. A very recent one in fact. Whole family was there in the picture. Harsh, Renuka, Parth parents along with Randhir, Sanyukta, Kaustuki, Jignesh, Vidhushi and Parth. Oh! How can one forget about Aman, the cutest little member who was sitting between both his grandparents. That little almost four year toddler was the carbon copy of his dad both in looks department and in brain department making him little Parth. The child was just opposite of his name but everyone love him dearly. Kaustuki and Jignesh got engaged a year back and marriage is on cards at the end of the year after Jignesh comes back from Belgium completing his professional responsibility. You gave me the family I always craved for. They gave me the love I always desire. They are second best thing and won't change anyone even for the world. I just want to add more to this beautiful family of ours. From years you had always given me but this time I want to give you something. PS- We love you PSS- You know where to find me. Come quickly Papa. Mama ana baby are waiting. Randhir breath for once got struck as he was done reading the letter. He could not believe what he read, making himself read the same line again and again. He is going to be a farther. They are going to be parents. They are having a baby. He could not believe his eyes what he read in the letter. Without bothering to keep the letter and picture carefully like the three others, Randhir made his way out throwing the envelope on the bed. He knew where to find her. Not in the library. Yes, it was her favorite place but not her all time favorite place. She has to be there. --------------------------------------- As he walked through the beach, his footsteps leaving the print behind, he saw her standing near the shore gazing the horizon and oblivious to her surrounding. "Papa too loves Mama and the Baby." He  whispered in her ears and wrapping his arms around her stomach. "Papa was quick. huh?" Sanyukta chuckled placing her palms above his. "Yes, because Papa could not wait to see his princess and the little one." He rested his chin on her shoulder and rubbed her stomach. "Good. We could not wait either." She smiled leaning back and relaxing from his touch. Both were standing like that for some time. The words were not needed then. The words would not had been bake to fill  the  beautiful silent that prevailed. "Are you happy?" She asked turning to face him. He knew she know the answer but want to hear from his mouth so he simply said what she wished to hear. "Yes." He kissed her forehead. ------------------------------------
