Immediately the door opened, I entered inside while David excused himself and stood outside and the door went Shut.
What the…
I stood in front of the supposed elders that summoned me but I didn't look up before I heard someone cleared their throat.
And I raised my head up a little and saw Seraphine, my eyes shot wide in excitement but dead down when I saw the others face.
I just hate them I swear.
“You've been given a room correct?”
I nodded with my head still faced down, “ young lady I'd love a verbal answer when I ask you a question”
“ yes, I've been given a room” I watched her nod and say.
“ That's more like it, your training are starting tomorrow we already discussed your basics with Seraphine and she's going to continue with the training”
I kind of did a little brain dance when I heard that Seraphine was going to be my trainer.
The weird annoying Elder, that I would call a bitch on a Normal day went on with her speech, I've noticed she likes talking alot to be persise.
“ You were given the book of rules here by the driver right..?”
“ No ma’am, nothing yet”
She motioned onto Seraphine, “ Tomorrow when you start try to take her through the basics and also let her know the rules here, if you go easy on her we would change you immediately”
Seraphine just nodded and I saw a glance of irritation cross her face thanks goodness, I'm not the only one who hates this woman.
“ You can proceed back to your room, just wanted to least the basics to you”
If looks could kill I could have murdered this woman, so she called me here.. practically gave me a heart scare only to say a few words.
I bowed my head and turned to leave, immediately I opened the door and got outside.. I breathed out the air I've been holding in.
“Okay that seems intense” I did a little jump at the random voice and turned to see David still standing beside the door with a raised brow.
“Girl, you get scared easily..”
I rolled my eyes at what he said, “ I'm not scared you just took me I aware I thought you left off when the door went shut”
Then I narrowed my eyes at him, “ were you listening to our conversation”
He shrugged and said, “ I mean it's not like I didn't hear shit, but you're starting your training tomorrow huh..”
I nodded and said, “ Yeah ..”
With that David turned and started walking back from where we came from, “ why didn't they just build the house straight with an elevator do they have to make someone walk a long distance just to say a few words.”
David snorted beside me, “ that's even better, when I came here earlier, I was summoned by them, I felt like vomiting all the shots in my stomach ‘cause when I visited earlier they gave me quite a scare...”
I nodded for him to continue, “ So when I got to the door, There was this elder seating, with just a glance at me she just said, He’s okay.. you can go now”
I sniffled a laugh and said, “ so what did you say”
“Well, I just bowed my head and left there but my legs were still shaking from the knees, I was truamatized.. I'm surprised you acted normal when you came out apart from your jump scare though..”
I hit his shoulder, “ oh shut up, I've seen enough ghost so anything could scare the shit out of me, so please..”
Just as I said that we turned down a corner and David suddenly started walking slowly and I turned back to him, “ what's wrong..?”
He kept his face straight, “ Just keep walking I just saw Rebecca, that girl is a living trouble “
I did as he asked and went on walking but I heard footsteps following us, “ David I don't think…”
“ David where are you going to..” I heard a voice say from behind us and stood stiff immediately while I heard David lowly cursed with his jaw clutched and he turned with a fake smile plastered on his face.
“Oh.. Rebecca nice to see you again “
The girl nodded her head like royalty, she was beautiful, I give her that but with what I've heard about her, I think I hate her too.
She looked to my direction and raised a brow at me like I was some dirt on the floor she was stepping on, “ And you are …?”
I comported myself and said, “ oh my name is …”
I waved her hands on the air and said, “Enough with the pleasantries, and you David what are you doing here..”
I did an ohh with my mouth and raised my brow ‘cause I was more than stunned, she really is bitchy.. jeez.
“We just finished seeing the elders so I'm leading her back to her do…”
She touched her forehead and said, “ oh I just remembered, you're the errand boy for today right..?
Bro.. I give it to her, she definitely is a witch and so cruel.
I watched David squeeze his hands and with his jaw clutched say, “ Yeah..”
Rebecca did a once over at me and turned back to David, “ When you're done leading her back .. I have something for you to help me do ..”
David nodded and turned to leave before she went on ., “ And David ?”
“Yeah …”
“ Don't keep me waiting, you don't want a bad name on your tab again do you…”
With that she turned and started walking back…I turned to David with surprise still plastered on my face, “ She is a bitch I swear”
“ You've seen nothing, this is actually her being nice… wait till she gets bitchy”
“Jesus, bro I felt like punching the fucking said off her throat, how the hell are you keeping it together “
David shrugged and said, “ She's the elders favourite, so only a slip of my tongue could grant me a nice two weeks break on the icy cold cell with a little touch of beatings coated as training, I just can't risk it, I did it once and trust me when I say… it wasn't a nice experience “.
I nodded and kept quiet as we approached my room and I turned to him, “ that ks for helping me to the elders place”
I laughed lowly and bowed, “ it's my job Miss…and yeah when you get in tell Lucy that I meet Rebecca in her place actually and that she should make it to dinner”
I nodded and waved a goodbye at David, then opened my door and entered into my room, Lucy was laying down with her legs up the wall and I snorted at the position she was sleeping in.
“ Lucy..?”
She turned to me and smiled when she saw that it was me, “ So… how did it go ..’
I breathed out and slumped on my bunk, “ I don't even want to talk about it…”
I heard her snort, “ And David got hooked with that Rebecca of a girl …”
She turned with her eyes wide, “ Again.. did you meet her”
I sat up properly and said, “ She's more than a bitch and her neck was so little I felt like breaking it, Jesus…”
