Chapter 24 REAL TRUTH
LILIAN POV :
“ Lilian ?!” I heard my name being screamed across the school hall and my heart skipped, God please be Mia.
I turned my back to know where it was coming from and I saw a small figure coming near me and yeah it's Mia guess I have much more explanation to do with the way she's thumping her feet.. that's not good man.
I stood and waited for her to come closer… “Lilian”
“Mia I've been looking for you these past few days where the hell have you been”..
“ Uh uh don't give me that Lilian I think you've got to tell me what's wrong… cause I don't know why a red eyed demon had to kidnap me just to ask me if I know who you really are !”
“ Mia I…”
“ Have you been lying to me and Jonas huh …” I couldn't say a word I just kept staring at her… I hope Seraphine is really enjoying this view cause I could percieve her scent bloody traitor!
“ Mia can we discuss this after class and no I didn't lie to nobody okay… I can never lie to you…you know that right ?” I asked looking her dead in the eye.
“I don't know lilian but whatever it is you're telling us it better be good enough reason for me to stay at a cage for two miserable days “ she said gritting her teeth…seems like they really did finish her off that much huh.
“Yeah I promise… meet me at the school garden after class with Jonas .. at your favorite spot..”
“ Yeah whatever..” she said and waves me off walks past me to her class direction thank goodness I have free period now… this girl is more scarier than a vampire for real.
“Seraphine you can come out now you traitor…” I said which made Seraphine to laugh across the hall..
“ My .. my is that intimidation I percieve”..
“Oh shut the fuck up…” I said with a groan … she's just has an award with frustrating people.
“ What was that !, You didn't seem to be talking when your friend was huh !.” She said with a grin… humph pathetic!
“ Seraphine don't you have a class to teach right now “
“ Miss. Vale to you when we're here and nope I should be asking why you aren't in class not the other way round..”
“ Well I don't wanna burst your bubble but I don't have class right now am on my free period … and if you'll excuse me … I'd love to go have a moment of peace please” I said and turned to leave.
“ Lilian, is Mia too mad at you “ she asked out of curiosity cause I know it's not out of concern.
“ I don't know, I mean you heard everything from across the hall and thank for being showing concern”.. I said and turned down to the garden area to get myself prepared for when Mia is gonna interrogate me.
Few moments later … I heard the sound I dreaded the most right now drrr… ugh I hate that school bell.
“Lilian are you here…? I heard mia vioce call out to me.
“ Over here…” I said standing up and dusting off the piece of grasses on my clothes.
“ Hello Mia…” I said giving her a hug at least she let me then I noticed Jonas came with her… “ Jonah what's up man”.
“ Am all good.. you ?” He asked with a narrowed eye.
“ Am great actually… been long I saw you thought you dropped out or some shit “.
“ Lilian using foul language in school is not so cool, but fuck you if you think I would really drop out … who am I leaving the pretty girl In this school for ?.”
“ Bro you're stupid but am not gonna tell you yet… I ..”
“ Lilian cut that greetings shit … Jonah here doesn't know what we're here for I just dragged him to tag along but it'd be nice if we all three know …just incase “
“ Shit is you guys talking about …”
“ Speak English Jonah don't irritate me more than I already am right now..” Mia said with a straight face… there's no way am getting out of this explanation whole.
“Um… Um..I um ..”

“ Hey Mia chill girl, you're intimidating her let her speak first …” jonah said and sat down on the floor tapping the floor beside him for Mia to join which she reluctantly sat down with her hand folded across her chest.
I closed my eye and started “ Thank you Jonah, first of all am sorry for being weird and being distant this days… I um I was beaten by a vampire !” I said then open my eye and saw Mia staring at me with wide eye and Jonah snorting like an idiot … ha ha funny.
“ Is that all ?” Jonah asked with an amused expression.
“ Jonah am serious … it seriously bite me and I've been feeling weird since … I swear !”.
“ I believe you … so that means you're one of them…”
“ One of what ?”
“ The blood sucking monsters … have you sucked in a human before ?.”
“ Wait you're not scared that I look weird or that I could crave blood “. I asked with my head titled to a side.
Mia spoke first “ look Lilian no matter what you are we still love you… you don't have to change yourself for us … right Jonah?...”
“ Yeah… we love you Lilian… now down to business … how does it feel like ..” ugh I knew he was gonna ask that teaser !.
“ I mean most times, it's cool most times it not at all.” I said remembering how I almost suffocated in class when I was restraining myself from putting my fangs on my classmates neck.
“ Ugh that doesn't sound pleasant but what's the cool stuff there… “ Mia asked moving closer to me.
“ Um… I could run really fast … like really fast “.
“ More than flash !”. Mia asked wide eyed .
“ Don't go all Disney on me but yeah way faster than flash his a snail compared to me “ I said hyping myself up cause last time I ran Seraphine said I tripped on a fucking air.
“ Whoa that's so cool Jonah did you hear her…. Jonah am talking to you damnit “
“ You don't have to be such a bully jeez I heard you…”
“ What else is cool no leave the cool stuffs for later you know iread vampires don't eat real food so what exactly do you eat though” she said with a sparkling eyes… I'd hate to break her bubbles but since she wants the truth.
