Chapter 70: The bail out and end of the deal
As a result, the billionaire and his fiancée spent a week in their freshly purchased home. Joel maintained contact with his daughter and her spouse. However, on the sixth day of the billionaire’s life in his newly purchased mansion, which he had given to his fiancée, he received a call from Joel regarding the old billionaire’s guards who were imprisoned. Joel had previously installed surveillance cameras stretching from Melon to Westgate. This indicates that, according to the agreement, the billionaire was completely in Joel’s sights. During the phone call, Joel was at work with the freshly recruited security guards, while Mark was plotting their next move in the office of his newly purchased house with his fiancée.
“The Melon security agency was summoned to appear in court in relation to the detained guards who were arrested for killing Donta. We’d like to hear your thoughts on the subject.” Over the phone, Joel informed the billionaire. He didn’t respond quickly, but instead put the phone call on and waited and spoke with Sandra.
“Lee and other bodyguards who were arrested in your luxury apartment building will appear in court this week.” the billionaire warned Sandra, but she considered the problem as one for her father to address.
“You sued these people? I mean, wasn’t it my father who pushed for these folks to be arrested? What are you going to do with this? He needs to stop dragging you into controversies that don’t require your attention. We’re enjoying the peace and tranquility of the Westgate estate’s neighborhood.” Sandra told the billionaire, and her father heard her because she was shouting. She took the phone from Mark and called her father.
“Please tell me father, who caused these people to be arrest?” Sandra contacted her father and asked him the question. Sandra was suddenly the billionaire’s agent.
“The Melon security agency has initiated a case against these individuals. However, the billionaire’s participation in this court hearing is critical because the accused guard is one of his former bodyguards who fought against each other. Another thing to bear in mind is that the billionaire’s safety is as important to me as yours.” Joel explained, but she observed that her father wanted Mark to be in court during the billionaire ex-bodyguards’ court appearance. Sandra put the phone call on hold as well and spoke with Mark.
“Do you believe you will be required to compensate these people? Even if you don’t need them, they have the right to their pension savings. This court appearance, on the other hand, makes me nervous. Is there no way you can avoid it?” Sandra inquired because she was concerned about the billionaire and what he was going through. She saw that the billionaire’s day of leisure was far away.
the billionaire declared, “I’ll have to pay them, but Melon security agency is the one who jailed these guards, not me. I will not go to court. But the law will play its part. It’s possible that I’ll be among the accused because all of these people were my bodyguards. I believe I must meet with them before court.” Sandra, on the other hand, considered the former billionaire’s bodyguards’ visit before their court appearance as a good strategy. She nodded and handed the phone to the billionaire so he could speak with her father.
“I’m on my way to see the detained people. My objective is to reward them in order to avoid any trouble they may cause me.” He informed Joel, who was thrilled with his plan. Joel hung up the phone and went back to work with his security in the office, while Mark rose up and walked to his car.
“I had hoped to accompany you, but I am afraid. My love, go in peace.” Sandra informed the billionaire as he opened the automobile door. He smiled and got into his car. As a result, he left Sandra with other bodyguards and traveled with only two to Melon’s prison by afternoon to see his imprisoned bodyguards. Joel became aware of him and called him.
“We’re keeping an eye on you. We are watching every step you take. You are secure. Keep going.” Joel informed the billionaire while watching him through the monitoring cameras.
“I know, I’d like to meet them before the court date. This should not be a difficult task. To console the mourner, the wife of the slain Donta, I paid two million dollars.” While moving closer to Melon’s prison, Mark responded to Joel.
“If I hear you clearly, you mean, you want to see these guards released?” Joel inquired, and Mark nodded before responding.
Yes, let us simply bail them out and dismiss the charges against them. I’ll then give them their pay so they can leave me alone.” Mark replied. As a result, Joel got into his car and drove to Melon Prison to meet Mark and visit Lee and the billionaire’s other imprisoned bodyguards.
“I’ll be right there in a second. You can meet me in the prison yard’s parking lot.” Joel told the billionaire that he would arrive and then hung up the phone. Mark arrived in Melon’s prison parking lot and waited for Joel to arrive. He arrived in a matter of minutes. He got out of his own vehicle that he parked next to the billionaire’s car. Mark also got out of his Rolls Royce to meet Joel. They exchanged handshakes and then talked as they headed to the prison’s reception area.
“I just want to clear my name in the public’s eyes. I simply desire a private life with my wife. I know I’ll never go bankrupt, but I still have what it takes to avoid public appearances. All I want is for this divorce to be over.” He elaborated on his concern.
Joel replied to the words of Mark as if he sympathized with him, “The steps you’ve taken prove that you really need peace. You live in a calm neighborhood. You are safe in all you do because you have me as your guardian. All I can advise is that you should cancel any contracts you have with the individuals. Only do business with businesses.” Joel’s suggestion to Mark reminded him of the contract he signed with Diva, which was not as legitimate as it was intended to be.
As he was ready to respond, one of the police officers approached them by the reception area and inquired, “I wonder what brings the gods of Melon to our prison? Are your sons being detained or have you come to negotiate?”
“We came to see our detainees. We came to clear their name and to do something different. Bring us inside to where we can see them.” Joel explained, and the office sent them to the location of the visitor who had come to see their incarcerated families.
He looked at them in the waiting area and inquired, “Who did you come to see this afternoon?”
“Lee and the rest of the bodyguards of Mark.” Mark responded, and the officer went to the prison cell to contact Lee and his companions. He led them out, shackles on their hands. T They felt optimistic when they discovered that their boss had come to see them. They were, however, irritated to find Joel standing next to the billionaire. They sat at the table across from Mark and Joel, frowning.
“We have come to bail you out and compensate you for your role as the billionaire’s bodyguards. We have resolved the shambles you have brought upon the family of Donta, whom you have murdered.” Joel addressed Lee, who then smiled.
Then inquired, glancing at Mark, “You mean you no longer require our protection, sir? Killing my brother, Donta, was not my aim. I just blew up the automobile that was hitched to him with a bomb, but both cars burnt. I am not a murderer or a terrorist.”
“That is why we have come to set you free. You will be hired as a Melon security agent.” Joel responded, and Lee smiled when he realized he wouldn’t be fired.
“Please come quickly to our aid. We’ve been placed in a hellhole. I don’t want to stay here any longer.” Lee remarked.
Joel said, “You may return inside while we prepare for your release.”. It would simply take ten minutes for us to accompany you home.” Mark pulled out his phone, generated the contact form, and handed it to Lee to sign. Lee went on to say, “are you rehiring us or you are ending your contract with us?”
“I’m dismissing you so Melon Agency can hire you with a clean record.” I do this so that I can recompense you before you start working elsewhere.” Mark responded, and Lee took the phone, made an electronic form, and passed it around for the others to sign. When they were finished, they returned the phone to Mark. He immediately credited their account with reimbursement. He showed each of them the money that he had given to them. He paid Lee a hundred thousand dollars and provided others eighty thousand dollars. They were overjoyed with the sum of money they received from the billionaire. As a result, Joel stood up, and Mark followed suit. The officer who brought Lee to the visitor’s center returned them to their cells as Mark and Joel walked to the reception desk to pay Lee’s bail. They completed the payment and the negotiations. They then went to their automobiles in the parking area and talked while waiting for Lee and his squad to arrive. Mark called Sandra to inform her of his impending return.
“Everything is in order. There will be no court appearance. My former guards are happy because I compensated them appropriately. I’ll be right there in a minute.” Mark informed Sandra of his intention to meet her at her newly purchased house. Sandra was pleased, but the same nausea that had attacked her when she was at the jewelry store returned. She felt sick while talking to Mark in her bedroom. While the phone was on hold, she dashed to the restroom, and Mark wondered what was wrong with Sandra. While Mark was on the phone with Sandra, Lee and his squad exited the prison and headed to the parking lot. He had no idea what was going on. Joel observed the billionaire was in a state of disarray.
“You appear to be in danger because of the phone call. What is the problem?” Joel inquired, but Lee and his six-man squad arrived and surrounded Mark and Joel. Instead of hearing from Sandra, Mark remained listening and heard the sound of her vomiting in the toilet. he muttered to Joel, “It’s the allergy again. She’s not feeling well yet again. She is currently puking in the restroom. I need to get to her right away.” Mark replied and got into his car, while Joel got into his car. Lee and his squad, on the other hand, were left standing when Mark and Joel drove out of the parking lot. They hoped Joel would return to them because he had promised them a job. They had no idea that he had misled them. They didn’t have a phone, so they couldn’t contact their families. As a result, they walked an hour from Melon’s prison to their house. As a result, the contract with the billionaire terminated abruptly, and communication ceased, while Lee and his crew moved on with their lives.
