If I told him how much he made me crazy, wouldn't that sound lame?
Wouldn't it be madness if I voice to him how efficient he made me feel.

His eyes sparked a surprise. He moved close, "wouldn't that tarnish what's left of us?" His fingers stroked my face.

"Because it's not proper," he touched his temple, walking away from me.

I twirled around to face him. "You knew I had been watching you?"

"Then, you would be a coward, one who doesn't know what he wants," the words slipped out of my mouth.
"Fuck you, Davina."
He pressed his lips into a thin line, grabbed me by the waist, pulled me towards him, and forced his lips on my mouth.
He sure had a way with surprises. Our tongues danced in circles before he picked me up firmly and led us to his bedroom.
He wouldn't let go of my mouth until we fell into his plush bed. He smelt of vanilla and coffee, and I couldn't get enough of him.
With one powerful move, he unzipped my gown from the front, parted it from my shoulders, and peeled it off my body.
My hands tugged at his clothes, swiftly he pulled out from his shirt and shorts before cradling my head behind his hand.
He paused, staring deeply into my eyes. "I hate that you have the force to unlock me."

He didn't let me go until we reached the bathroom. And with a switch, the waters began to fall on us.
In silence, he washed me but the smile on his face never erased.

The memory made us laugh harder, holding each other in an embrace. "I never stalked you. I had only guessed of which I was right."
We returned to the bedroom, carried away by the reminisces of the past. When he slept, he was peaceful like a lost cat who had found his way home.
And I prayed he would remain like this, ever so peaceful in my arms.
