"A penny for your thoughts?"
Lucas swore under his breath, as much he would love to open up his heart to a stranger like an open book, he desperately wanted to be alone.
But here he was, drinking a strong liquor from the counter in Highlander's bar, and being scrutinized under the blazing dancing lights.
Lucas swirled his eyes to the owner of the voice. His brows twitched as his eyes fell on the older man beside him.
The man was darn fine: thick, dark brows, full lips, specks of grey in his neatly trimmed beard, with green eyes to top his handsome features.
Lucas felt his stomach tightened, reminding himself for the umpteenth time that he wasn't attracted to men - much less men far older men than he was.
"A penny definitely wouldn't do the job," Lucas replied.
He decided he would just be courteous with the stranger, drown the rest of his liquor and leave Highlander.
The stranger's lips spread into a wide smile.
Lucas couldn't help but feel mesmerized by his smile. His dick throbbed in his briefs, and he silently cussed himself, praying the man wouldn't notice the slight twitch in his trousers.
The older man took the empty seat beside Lucas, eyeing him closly. "I've been watching you from up there," he pointed to the verandah which intersected with the suite and vip section.

"Everything I seem to do doesn't work out my own way. It's frustrating, much painful ....," Lucas sighed, took a sip and forced his eyes to look at the man beside him.
"I was supposed to meet someone here, I was elated to meet the person after searching for this person for so many years but it all soon comes to nought." Lucas continued.
"This individual must really be dear, I'm so sorry. A woman?" The man pried, cocking a brow.
"Yeah, my mother," Lucas answered him.
Sympathetically, the older man reached out, placed his hand over Lucas' and squeezed.
"Everything will fall into place. You will meet her again if you so desire," his green eyes probed Lucas.
Lucas felt the stir in him arising, how could a man so effortlessly captivate him? His gaze shifted to the older man's full lips.
The man was no fool, he read the interpretation and moved further. "My name is Boss, and I have an empty suite up there. We can talk better behind closed doors."
Lucas pulled his hands away from Boss' instantly.
What the hell was he doing? His eyes bulged at the fact that he had drained the last of his liquor and he just hadn't realized it.
Was he drunk?
He shouldn't be tantalizing with the idea of being kissed by this Boss.
Boss was walking away now, his strides powerful and purposeful.
Lucas' prick twitched again as Boss' words drifted towards him like an echo.
He should leave now.
He stood to his feet.
His sight dribbled.
