Chapter 24

Myra's pov

Pain, pain was all I could feel on my body and in between my legs. I struggled to open my eyes, where I was greeted with another phase of deadly pain and to top it all, I was in an unfamiliar environment.

"Where am I?". My words came out shallow.

I tried to understand where I was, but I couldn't, when I felt someone by my side and a better side of me wanted to know who that is.

But that was my greatest mistake ever, I shouldn't have been so curious. I should have closed my eyes and never opened them for life.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE" !! My voice surfaced as my mouth widened in surprise. I blinked my eyes fiercely so that maybe the image in front of me would disappear, but it didn't.

It was Landon, I was fucking naked with Landon who was sleeping peacefully beside me. His hands were over me and my body was covered in hickeys that stuck to me like a tattoo.

My heart pounded like a pounding machine and I could feel the hairs on my skin stand at attention. How was this possible, how did I end up here. I spoke to myself internally.

"Fuck, no,no". I emphasised each word loudly and still yet Landon didn't even move a bone. I panicked silently, I needed to get out of here. And just when I started to take action the door burst open.

I hate doors, and that was because each time they open, my life becomes a complete mess.

I knew how many times doors have opened in my life and that was the end for me.

Guards rushed in, looking at me as if I had committed murder. The heavy footsteps of Wilfred were heard, and the first thing I saw was his well polished black shoes.

The environment was enclosed with an atmosphere of danger, and the aura that seemed to be emanating from Wilfred was not good at all.

His eyes were filled with pain as well as anger. And the last time I saw him like this was when he rejected me.

"This is not what it looks like, I swear to you I…..

"SHUT THE FUCK UP". He interrupted me cruelly.

"How can you be so cheap myra, how can you". He whispered his words with difficulty.

"Alpha, I beg of you please forgive us". Landon who had finally woke up begged for his mercy but his next words were shocking.

"We are in love, alpha. We didn't know how to tell you and we didn't plan for you to find out like this. Please forgive us and have mercy on us". Landon was filled with guilt and fear.

"What!!" Were my ears now hearing things? I looked at Landon in disbelief, as his expression was so believable.

"What are you saying, Landon". I yelled at him.

"Myra it's time we say the truth, we can't keep hiding our relationship, I will stand by you". He said his little speech while he attempted to touch me.

"Don't touch me.I slapped his hands away. I don't know what he is talking about. I looked at Wilfred expecting him to believe me, But as usual I was disappointed.

"Fuck no, you don't get to say anything. This is evidence enough. You betrayed me for the second time. What do you think will happen? Do you think I'd pull you to my arms and pamper you like a fucking baby".

"Your body is sacred, it's supposed to belong to only me. You are mine and you fucking belong to me but you went ahead to share what belongs to me with a mare guard". He said all of his words hurriedly and laced with danger.

In the course of his anger, he started to smile like a psychopath. I got so scared of him that I moved back in response to his actions.

"Tell him the truth, you fucking bastard". I screamed at Landon, who just stood like a mannequin. Nothing seems to make sense, I would have swore to you that the feelings I saw for lady Annette were genuine, but this was something else. Something that cannot be explained by an ordinary omega like me.

The growling of Wilfred echoed in the whole room and even the guards were shaking in their pants.

Without control Wilfred shifted into his big brown wolf max. His eyes were red and his fangs were sharp enough to kill in one attack.

His large body jumped into the air, landing straight on Landon, who wanted to shift but was not given the opportunity. Wilfred slashed his face with his claws disfiguring it.

He dragged his body with his jaws on the floor mercilessly.

"Please alpha have mercy". Landon begged for the fiftieth time. But Wilfred was immune to his plea.

He plugged one of Landon's eyes out, earning a loud ear tearing scream from him that made him pause in delight to take a look at me.

He wanted to punish me and he wanted me to know how vile he had become in the last two years. My old Wilfred was gone and the memories were like a speck of dust where they gradually faded away.

"Stop it Wilfred", I wailed with an horrified expression, the guards hurried to my side to hold me and to force me to watch the horrific action Wilfred was doing.

He kept slashing and tearing into the skin until the loud scream turned into muffled whimpers and then total silence. He had killed Landon without batting an eye.

And I couldn't help but cry for my misery.

He shifted back and the guards quickly provided him with clothes which he put on. The sympathetic smile on his face was directed to me.

"Are you crying because of your lover?". His thundering voice sent shivers to my spine and his red eyes looked like that of a monster.

"You have no cause to cry now, because when I am done with you, you will regret ever being born".

"Wilfred, please. Don't do anything stupid.I said knowingly. I swear to the moon goddess I don't know how I got here Please." I beseech desperately.

He clenched his teeths in dissatisfaction, before he spoke up.

"Beta ray, take this filth along with her daughter to the dungeon". He said calmly to his second in command.

Dungeon! I didn't want to go back, I needed to do something, so I said the only thing that could save me.

"Armani is your daughter, I swear to you". I said holding tightly to his legs.

Silence prevailed and gasps could be heard at every corner.

Wilfred was bewildered, his eyes shone in doubt and then to disgust.

"I knew you were a slut, but I never for once saw you as a liar. How dare you lie to your alpha in the face". He said solemnly.

My cheeks reddened in embarrassment. I made the biggest mistake ever, I should never have told him.

"I will kill that bastard you call your child and when I am done with her, you are next.

"No,no,no please. Don't do this, please kill me instead". I yelled, breaking the peaceful silence. I'd rather die than watch my only hope die.

"Take her to the dungeon and inflict suffering upon her. Every day and night I want to hear her never ending scream". He commanded with cold eyes.

And I was dragged mercilessly to my end. And this time I had no hope.
