Chapter 150 Zora's Crazy Idea

Chapter 150 Zora's Crazy Idea
"What is it?" came Zora's voice.

"Can you bring Angela to my place at the club?" Bryce requested.

"What!" Zora exclaimed. "It's getting late. How safe would it be with your Devon and Susan's eyes everywhere?" she asked.

"I have new guards at my place. I would let one of them come pick you up in my new car. No one would know," Bryce said.

"What do I tell Mrs Davis if she sees me taking her out? Besides, the car won't be silent," Zora said.

"I am sending two guards over. Just find a way to get her out of the house. I need to speak with her. Please," Bryce begged, and Zora was surprised to hear him begging.

Almighty Bryce is begging for her help. Zora never thought she would see such a day as this, where Bryce would be asking for her help, begging like this. She knew Bryce was not a bad person, and he truly loved Angela, the same way Angela loved him. The two need to talk and patch this up. She decided to help.

"Okay, I would think of something. Let me know once the car arrives," Zora said.

"Thank you. I promise to get you employment in any establishment of your choice once I take care of Devon and Susan," Bryce promised.

"Thanks," Zora said, smiling, and Bryce could tell from her voice that she was smiling.

"Okay, I have to go now, Angela will be out of the shower soon," Zora said and ended the call.

Back at the Davis family house, Zora went back inside the room after ending the call with Bryce, which she had answered outside.

"Girl, is staying indoors not boring?" Zora began.

"Zora, whatever crazy idea you have in your mind, I don't want to hear it," Angela said, making herself comfortable in front of the dressing table.

"Girl, you won't even hear me out. You just shot me," Zora said and sat down on the bed.

"Okay, what crazy idea do you have in mind in the name of fun?" Angela asked.

"I wish we could just drive through town," Zora said.

"Drive through town?" Angela repeated, and Zora nodded. "It sounds fun, but it's late, and I don't think Mrs Davis would like that. Remember, she brought us here so we would not end up in Devon's basement," she added.

"Oh, come on. A little adventure won't hurt. Plus, we would be in a car and on a main road with other cars. Devon doesn't know we are going out. Plus, look at where we are. Devon couldn't be watching," Zora convinced.

"You won't stop till you get what you want, right?" Angela asked.

"You do know me," Zora said.

"Fine, I'm beginning to get suffocated locked up in here anyway," Angela said. "We will just sit in the car, right?" she asked.

"Yes, just a drive through town," Zora said.

Zora's phone vibrated, and she quickly looked at the screen.

The ride had arrived. It's parked just a walking distance away from the mansion, right under the trees.

Zora read the message from Bryce, which had the details of the ride which had come to pick them up, and shifted her gaze back to Angela with a broad smile.

"Let me get you something nice to wear. I will sneak you out of the apartment," Zora said, smiling.

"You haven't changed one bit. I would inform Mrs Anderson," Angela said.

"No need to disturb the old lady. She went to bed early," Zora said.

"It's only 5 p.m., Zora. Is she a chicken?" Angela asked, rolling her eyes.

"It's 5.30 p.m.," Zora replied.  "And yes, she went to bed early. Something about being tired," she added.

"You just don't want her to stop us from going out. I get you," Angela said and stood up from behind the dressing table in her bathrobe.

"Yep," Zora accepted and brought out a straight dress, which was a bit loose.

"Now this is nice, and it will hide that small belly," she said and handed Angela a blue-black dress.

"It's short," Angela complained.

"Girl, no one would see you," Zora said, and Angela just sighed.

She knew Zora would not take a no for an answer. She just slipped into the dress, and Zora did her hair for her.

"Why are you dressing me like I am going on a date?" Angela asked, seeing the effort Zora was putting into her appearance.

"I need to take care of you first, and I can take care of myself," Zora said, and after dressing Angela, she picked a sexy black dress and slipped into it.

"Why do I feel like you are taking me to the club?" Angela said.

"That might be the baby inside you talking because she feels like clubbing," Zora said.

"It better not be a club you are taking me to?" Angela said as Zora pulled her out of the room.

They used the elevator and went down to the ground floor. They freely walked into the compound, heading for the gate.

"Would they allow us out of the gate?" Angela asked.

"And who said we are using the gate?" Zora said, and Angela frowned, but before she could say anything, Zora pulled her towards the garden on the other side of the mansion.

"Zora, what crazy idea do you have in mind?" Angela whispered as they walked through the beautiful garden with exotic plants of all kinds.

"This is how we are getting out of this house?" Zora said once they reached the wall.

"We are jumping the wall?" Angela asked with her eyes widened. "You are crazy, Zora," she added.

"I know you are pregnant. So I am going to help you get on the wall. You sit on the wall and wait for me. I jumped down, and I will help you down," Zora said.

"No, there is no way I am going to let you convince me to jump the wall," Angela said. "I am putting my foot down on this one," she said and folded her arms across her chest.

"I like it when you talk like that," Zora said with a broad smile, and the next minute, Angela was sitting on the wall while Zora was getting down on the other side of the wall.

"I don't know how I always end up submitting to your demands," Angela said as Zora helped her to come down the wall.

Unknown to them, George was watching them on the monitor inside his room.

"What are you two up to?" George whispered on his lips and pulled out his phone.

"Our guests just jumped down the south wall. Get the car and find out what they are up to and report back to me," George said and ended the call.

Outside, Angela and Zora both laughed after jumping down the wall.

"You are crazy, Zora. I don't even know how I always allow myself to be convinced into doing your crazy stuff," Angela said with her hand on her chest. "For once I thought I was going to fall on my back," she said.

"How can I let that happen?" Zora said. "I know you hate Bryce now, but if anything happens to you or the baby, trust me, Bryce would have my head on a chopper," she said and pulled Angela towards the direction of where the car had been parked.

"Good, you know that," Angela said and was about to ask how they were going to get a car, but she spotted the black car parked under the tree.

The car turned on its lights, and Angela stopped walking, wondering who that was.

"It's our ride. I arranged for a car to pick us up," Zora informed Angela.

"Zora, you are crazy," Angela said, and the two walked towards the car.

They got inside, and the driver started the car engine. The divider was closed, so Angela did not know there were two men at the front. Zora just tapped on the divider, and the car was in motion.

"The driver knows where we are going?" Angela asked.

"Yes, he knows," Zora said. "It's a surprise," she added, relaxing in the seat, and Angela shook her head.

"The statement I fear when it comes from you," Angela said, and Zora smiled.

They hit the main road and started heading for the club, unaware they were being followed.
