Nathan staying in Joan's house was fun, though he wasn't comfortable but he still had fun. Joan's father took them out and he never suspected if they were dating or not, they kept it between them and they never allowed him to notice, they call themselves good friends in his presence. Joan's mother and father appreciate their friendship.

It was the day of resumption and Joan's mother already bought everything they would need for school.

Joan's father drove them to school and they both went to their hostel. That night, a mail was sent across to Nathan that he is needed by the head of the school. He was scared that he asked Dave if he received any mail, but he didn't, he had to call Joan to ask, but she didn't receive any message either. They were all scared because they never knew what the head of school had to say to him throughout the night, his eyes were wide open, he was so scared that he didn't know what to do and what to think of.

The next morning, Jaon met them in the school and they held the head of school offices. Though, Dave and Joan was staying beside, they couldn't enter the office with them, but they can hear all the conversation.

"Hello Nathaniel"

"Good Morning Sir, I received a mail yesterday that you need me"

"Yes I do, and thanks for honoring the mail. How are you doing?" He asked.

"I am fine, thank you"

"So we heard that you got into a fight with the Mayor's Son, Marcus Reddington"

"Yes, he started it and I had no choice than to fight back"

"Okay, but I am sorry, we will be suspending you in this prestigious school"

"You mean what sir? Only me or Marcus and his team are included"

"Sorry to announce, only you" The head of school phone rang.

"Hello lecturer Emmanuel, have you compiled the results yet?"

"Yes the results are out, check your mail, I will send the five best students to you via mail"

"Alright, I will be expecting you" The call was hung.

"Sir, please do not do this to me, I entered this school through scholarship, and I will not like be to be suspended"

He ignored him and checked his mail, while checking his mail, he saw Marcus name, he was the second best student.

"What is your name again?" He asked curiously.

"I am Nathan, Nathaniel"

"Whoa! Congratulations! You are the second best student, I am happy for you"

"Thank you, but about the suspension, I am still curious about it"

"I am sorry about that, no more suspension anymore dear"

"Thank you very much"

"I am so happy for you, do not mind the Reddington family, you have made the school really proud, thank you for being you, a gift would be given to the five best student to appreciate your effort all"

"Alright, thank you" He said and left the office.

On stepping out of the office, he saw Dave and Joan. "Congratulations' ' they both congratulate him. Joan hugged him tightly.

"Thank GOD I didn't distract you from focusing on your studies back then, if I had, you would have been suspended from school"

"It's well, thank you all for staying by my side"

"It is fine, I am happy for you Nathan" Dave said happily while they were walking.

"But how can Mayor be this wicked, so his plan is actually to drop you out of school? He had the plans to suspend you and all these people would not even investigate about the matter and they just do what he said you should, hey darling, thanks for not listening to me when I said you should give me attention at the exam period, I wonder what would then happen by now, hmm" Joan said.

"I wonder, now do not forget our plan Nathan, do not forget what we planned on doing, our mission, to get close to your mother, from then clinch to the Reddington family, and from there enter them, the mission is to have the company and the properties to yourself" He elucidated.

"Yeah, I know darlings, thank you very much, but I haven't seen mum all these days, maybe Mayor has shunned her or what do you think?"

"Maybe though, but there should be no reason why a mother should not even care about her son? Like anytime I remember like this, I keep getting shocked like the news is just new to me, you have really faced a lot and we know GOD isn't sleeping, he will surely deal with them and reward you abundantly"

"That is just the fact, anyways I must commend your effort the latest second best student in our school, you should treat us for lunch today" Dave suggested.

"Heeey… Bill on me and not my boyfriend please, I will get what you all want but before then Dave, you have to come with your girlfriend, I must not who your girlfriend is today and she must come over to celebrate this with us"

"Didn't your boyfriend told you who my girlfriend is"

"Who? He didn't tell me about you having any girlfriend, who is your girlfriend? You two are hiding things from me right? Is she someone I know?"

"Someone you know how? If you know her, and I don't know who my girlfriend is that's weird" They all laughed and continued, "Well, I don't have a serious girlfriend, remember I asked you if you have a younger sister, you said you have none and that you are the only girl or your family, I even told you to look for one member of your family" They laughed again.

"You know what? All these girlfriends you have and you ain't serious with, leave them so they can know their fate, and then look for someone you can marry, or is it the same thing Nathan is doing? Birds of same feathers flocks together"

"Ooh! No! That is not it" Dave shunned.
