While all of this was going on Wanwan was enjoying the bliss of the accidental leak of her fake pregnancy.
The Jiang family had always cared more about their face than anything else to salvage the situation when unscrupulous rumors were already going on.
They began to talk about marriage, Mrs. Jiang was caught in a tight corner and came up with a solution that was accepted by her husband but decided not to inform their son about it
Since she was pregnant, she might as well give birth to it. They will organize a Chinese wedding for them both but not register it at the Civil Affairs Bureau.
Once she gives birth and passes her confinement period they will frame and accuse her of cheating, divorce, and getting to keep the child and still approach Meimei.
With that foolproof plan in mind, she calmed down and treated Wanwan well for the time being.
Wanwan who didn't know the plans of Mrs. Jiang was lying on the couch of Jiang Yeqian's house with Liam beside her.
Since the Jiang family wanted to put up a good facade, after her discharge they allowed her to move to yeqian house.
"Your plan worked" Liam looked at Wanwan with adoration and affection.
"Didn't I tell you before that my plan will definitely work,the scoldings weren't much in the end" Wanwan smiled though she despised him she couldn't lose him now and take care of him like she cared.
"Yes, sister is the best" Liam giggled, his behavior was abnormal, and he was acting like a five-year-old.
Wanwan knew that his condition might relapse soon
"Take your drugs, your health is worsening," she reminded.
"Okay"
"But what if he finds out how will you keep this on" Liam suddenly asked
"I'd do something about it so okay don't worry" Wanwan assured
"I'll listen to you then"
"How's school?" Wanwan asked since Liam was nineteen he was in his third year of high school almost done and ready for college entrance examinations.
"It's fine, will be starting revision soon" he added
After the two discussed for a few more hours Liam left.
Whereas yeqian who was coming from work and packed with two takeout bags bumped into Liam and greeted him.
He was aware of this brother-in-law of his and knew he was mentally unsound so he didn't delay further and went in
"Am home" he spoke in a charming voice and Wanwan smiled.
Placing the takeouts on the table Wanwan forced a smile.
She wasn't pregnant, and she was not that hungry, but he kept stuffing her food but she could not complain.
"Wanwan". Yeqian called
"Yes?"
"My parents agreed to let us get married," yeqian said elated, and Wanwan eyes brightened
"Really"
"Hmm"
Wanwan was ecstatic at the news but skeptical, she knew how much of a key Gubler Mrs Jiang was, and she didn't think it was that simple
But whatever it may be, she as well have a bargaining chirp at hand
"let me get you a drink," she said portraying the image of a virtuous wife
In the kitchen, after receiving the cup she rubbed the substance at the tip of the cup
She brought the wine and cup for him and watched him serve himself
If everything went according to her plans he'd lay with her tonight and not remember.
And if by luck she was pregnant, she could just give birth to it at seven months just to correlate with the time she faked the pregnancy.
While doing all of this, all of her actions are being watched.
"Meimei smiled in her study room as she received reports both on the Jiang family and Wanwan.
"How fascinating" she signed and faced back her work
She kept all the files about Wanwan somewhere and faced her work.

Gu Mohan on the other hand, who had known the children had settled in, was relieved a bit.
All that remains now is for him to win Meimei's heart.
"Boss" Lucas entered his office after a knock
"What happened?" Gu Mohan raised a brow
"It's Miss Nancy," Lucas said
"Who is that?" Gu Mohan was confused he was sure the businessmen he had contact with were not female and the name didn't seem familiar
Lucas caught the confused expression on Gu Mohan's face and could not help but feel pity for Nancy.
She was crazily fighting and shouting down the building yet the man she was doing all this for didn't even have an impression of her

"Old master Tang's granddaughter, the one you went on a blind date with," Lucas said
Upon recalling Gu Mohan sneered he could understand the girl's thinking, since she found out his identity she now wanted things to work out between them.
She can then go on dreaming
"Don't let her near me in the future, " Gu Mohan dismissed Lucas And went back to work.
The only thing he wanted to do apart from work was chase after Meimei, and have a complete family.

Nancy, whose fate was being decided by Gu Mohan, had gone home in a fit of anger cursing the employees on her way.
As a girl who had been pampered since young, she believed she could get whatever she wanted and no one could stop her in any way.
Besides she believed that GU Mohan would let it go after finding out that her attitude was because of a mistake he would surely forgive her.
Once she becomes Gu Mohan's wife she will surely punish the staff.
After rearranging her thoughts she decided to just go home and rest. she took care of a few things and decided to take a nap
Later in the evening, Nancy woke up and went to refresh herself
Upon checking herself out in the mirror she discovered some blisters and pimples on her beautiful and flawless face.
"Ahhhh!!!!!!" She screamed out.
Hearing her scream, both the servants, her parents, and old master Tang ran out in panic.
