I'll be judging that bastard myself!

I'll be judging that bastard myself!
In the early hours of today, a leaked, spicy video started circulating all-round the internet.

The video was not from some popular music artist or influencer as one might have though but two people whose names overshadowed many of such people anyway!

Firman Bachman and Lady Fiona George.

The first being a senior member of Daxter incorporated and the current patriarch of the Bachman family while the second…..the second was the mayor's wife!

The poor mayor of Detroit had just been gifted a green hat!

The videos were obviously not deepfakes, that much had been verified this causing many to wonder how they were even shot in the first place.
The various media companies were like sharks that had smelled blood and wouldn't let go in the slightest coming out with some of the most ridiculous headlines they could pen.

The internet…well the internet had descended into a battlefield of pretty embarrassing and crappy memes all revolving around.
The police tried to step in banning the sharing of the video but who cares on the internet anyway?

Naturally, they also tried to reach out to the person behind the video releases but unfortunately they all met a dead end.

Before noon, the video had gone viral in Detroit's digital sphere and was slowly spreading outwards.

Right when Detroit was reeling from this huge scandal, another fist of heaven's fury hit home as a bunch of documents related to the most talked about drug case in Detroit the MK–V5 case currently pinned on the owner of Daxter incorporated.
Crazily enough it was also from the same person that exposed Lady Fiona's spicy video.

In it was a detailed log of how the drug was made, how the test subjects were gotten and their fate along with some other things that seemed to be progressively evil.

However, this was not the highlight, rather it was the name list at the end consisting of some of Detroit's most important individuals and at the top of this list was a particularly trending person—Firman Bachman!

In no time his already sullied reputation became totally destroyed with no chance of making a return.
At the same time everyone had one thought in their mind.

Who was the person behind the two leaks!?

Inside the mayor's office….

“It's true sir, I have repeatedly had the team at HQ confirm the validity of the news using the latest tech we have in the field and I can say the evidence has not been forged in the slightest. The Madame really did it.”

With a stern expression, police chief Eden reported the results of his findings to the mayor. Despite his stern expression though, there were still traces of awkwardness in his tone creating a huge contrast for anyone looking.

Listening to the words of the police chief before him, Mayor George Amaris was suddenly washed by a wave of tiredness.

He felt like going back to bed and having a long, deep sleep. He was sure it was all a bad dream and things would change when he woke up later.

Attasa!

He knew that was nothing but a pipe dream!

Elbows on his office desk he slowly rubbed his temples as if to cast out the mounting frustration on him.

“Fiona finally couldn't contain it any longer could she? It's just unfortunate considering she used this method, she could have just waited a bit,..….”
Sighing, he slowly raised his head up revealing a face marked with the trials of life.

Was he angry?

Not really, he couldn't be since he already knew this day would come. Their marriage was one of benefits decided by their families after all!

It wasn't based on love and he never expected her to love him either.

However, he never expected her to go as far as having an affair.

And with that bastard nonetheless!

Technically, it wasn't an affair since they had divorced privately but to the ignorant public how many would even care to consider that?

Very simple—none!

There was no one who would even bother finding out the truth of the whole matter, humans only cared about chaos!

He had known that this day would eventually come but then…

“It shouldn't have been now."
“Ahem…your excellency."
Right then police chief Eden coughed bringing out the mayor from his wallowing.

“Yes, sorry about that. I was overwhelmed by my emotions, you were saying?”

Calming himself down, the mayor soon regained his normal calm look, however, the weariness in his eyes hadn't dissipated in the least, just hidden.
As the mayor, maintaining the city was still his priority!

“Concerning Firman, we've successfully caught him, luckily we were fast enough as we nearly lost him at the airport. He's being arraigned as we speak. However, the Bachman family has been stirring up trouble since then. We might need to mobilise special measures against them.”

Helplessly, Chief Eden said.

“Firman again…granted, use anything you like, just make sure that bastard doesn't slip away!”

Hearing the name Firman, the mayor's face scrunched up even more his expression like he was suffering from constipation.
The calm look he was maintaining was instantly wiped away!

CLENCH!

The sound of his teeth grinding against each other was enough to tell how much hatred he had hearing that name.

It had always been the same bastard!
For Mayor George, there was no one he hated more at this moment than Firman.

From the mayor's expression bubbling with hatred Chief Eden could actually understand why he was so mad.
While most people didn't know, Firman and the mayor had once been sworn brothers in their younger years, the type that could brave fire and seas for each other.

Firman was from the Notable Bachman family while George was from the equally resplendent Amaris family, both families were in the top elite level of Detroit.

Even the elders of the two families believed that with the two advancing together, their families could probably advance beyond the walls of Detroit.

They were even need the Golden duo!

Unfortunately, as in all stories the author had to bring a woman into the equation. In this case Fiona, the daughter of the Moss family.

She was actually Firman's first love interest but the Amaris family struck a deal with the Moss’s that called for George and Fiona to marry each other.

Naturally, Firman wouldn't agree.

The whole thing had many ups and downs but eventually Fiona married George thus leading to the end of the legend of the Golden duo.

As the two grew older they became rivals in everything.

Most of the time George was usually the winner to the extent that he no longer considered Firman as an opponent.

Alas who knew!

From causing havoc in Detroit city to even his wife the bastard had still used his filthy presence to smear everything he built.

It was no doubt that if Firman appeared before to he mayor at this moment, he would definitely be leaving here in a body bag.

“Breathe in, breathe in. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel…hehe.”

Chuckling, the mayor finally opened his eyes. The despair, anger and wrath in them gradually dissapeared dissapeared replaced with a calmness like an undisturbed pond.

Chief Eden wasn't able to help the smile that cracked through his lips through his lips when he saw the mayor's calm disposition.

The mayor he knew was back!

“Yes sir."

"Then fuck the Bachmans!”

Calmly asking, the mayor looked out the window his thoughts unknown.

"
“Hmm… “

Nodding, the mayor shook his head, at the same time a thought suddenly came to his mind.

“The evidence relating to his capture, where did it come from? The person must be super skilled to be able to get all that evidence."

Hearing the mayor's remark, Chief Eden scratched his head awkwardly.
“Actually, it wasn't any agent but rather a vigilante who operates through a proxy.”

Hearing this George was surprised. He thought it was the result of the CIA and FBI but it seemed his guess was off.

“Interesting.” The mayor thought as he regained back in his seat.

“Alright, you can go now.”

Waving his hands the mayor closed his eyes as if he was about to fall to sleep immediately, however his eyes suddenly shot open as he remembered something.

"One more thing Eden…..”
"tell my assistant to prepare my court robes…I'll be judging that bastard myself.”

Hearing this, a flash of excitement gleamed through Eden's dark eyes.

Apart from being the mayor of Detroit, many weren't aware that the mayor was actually a judge too, in fact he had even served in the supreme court before!

Was this several decade long grudge
between the two finally going to have an end?

“Yes mayor!"

Saluting, Eden left the office, a smirk on his lips.

Things were definitely going to be interesting soon.
