Chapter 13

*****Jaxons POV*****

"Impara a fare la merda bene la prima volta!" I roar down the line, infuriated by the lack of brain cells that my Italian staff seemed to have.

("Learn to do shit right the first time!")

"What's the problem?" Seth questions, joining me in my office as I slam the phone down.

"Fucking idiots never have shit ready in time!" I seethe, as he tuts and shakes his head at my temper.

"Is it about the exchange tonight?" He questions, knowing all too well exactly what would have had me so infuriated.

"He's telling me that the bloods want to meet us at 10pm when I told him to arrange it for later than that so that the hostages would at least be sleeping when we left! I don't need them trying to run off whilst we are away!" I grumble annoyed, knowing it would be too hard now to adapt the times.

"Let's use this to test them then? We both know that if they run they won't get far so let's just leave them to try? If anything it will teach them not to be so dumb in the future no? They might not even try to leave either, I at least know that the boy is enjoying himself here because he won't shut up about it!" Seth states, as I roll my eyes in thought.

He was right, if they try to run then it will only teach them to behave in future when we catch them both and beat up their asses.

"Fine. I just don't like when shit doesn't go my way." I admit, sending a text to Romano to tell him we would be there at 10pm and not to fuck up my orders again.

I wanted the business side of things to be handled by tomorrow, meaning I could focus on my new project - which was trying to convince the world that Faye was my new wife.

"Is the boy in the room opposite yours?" I question, following Seth out of my office doors as he nods.

"He is, I've done the whole threatening him thing too so I doubt he will try to leave either." Seth confirms, as I nod in approval.

I don't need any extra stress from either of them.

"Go get him and meet me downstairs, I told the girl she could look around." I instruct, as we part ways at the end of the hallway towards our own rooms.

"Yes boss!" Seth sings back to me down the corridor, mocking me for giving him orders as though he were just an average staff member.

I roll my eyes, before trailing up to the third floor to reach my bedroom.

I twist the handle and enter, seeing no sign of the small female, as I strain my ears to listen for the shower running - being met with only silence.

"FAYE!" I roar, wanting to know if she had already attempted to leave or not.

"Im just in here." A soft voice calls back, directing me to the walk-in closet.

I close my eyes momentarily to calm myself down, finding no reason to go on a rampage with the woman. She hadn't left or tried to yet, and I had to give her the benefit of the doubt since she had already agreed to everything I had wanted of her so far.

I walk towards the door which was slightly ajar, before pushing it open to reveal her sitting on the floor, brushing her hair in front of the large black mirror leaning against the wall.

The smell of deodorant and perfume hit my nostrils, causing my body to stiffen from the feminine intrusion.

"You ready?" I ask, as she places the brush down, glancing one more time at herself.

"Sure." She nods in the mirror, before turning to follow me out of the closet and back into the room.

She wore a pair of gold sandals, paired with a pink oversized t-shirt dress that stopped just above her knees. Her hair was now fresh and tug-free and sat perfectly straight down her back.

"I put on one of the swimsuits underneath... are we able to go in the pool today?" She questions with a hint of excitement, as my eyes rake her appearance before I nod.

"Michael is downstairs waiting for you." I state, as she offers me a wary smile and follows my lead towards the door.

We follow down the steps and through the hallways, as she stops every so often to admire a painting or a random room that we pass by.

"So do you actually own this whole house?" She breathes out the question, stopping at the top of the main marble staircase, taking in the view of downstairs.

"I do." I state, descending down the steps - with her soon following behind.

"Incredible!" She compliments, as I bite back the smirk I could sense coming - having impressed her so easily.

I lead her to the living area, showing her the large cream sofas and 98 inch TV on the wall. The room was large yet comfortable, as she entered and began to wander slightly to take it all in.

"It's like a cosy cinema." She whispers, gaping at the TV, which causes me to raise a brow.

"I have a real cinema room back in New York love... the screen is much bigger than this one." I brag, as her brows rise in surprise.

"What's next?" She questions, seeming in a dream state as I lead her out and towards the dining room and kitchen.

We enter, seeing Seth, Nico and the boy all seated at the large grey marble island in the centre of the room.

"This is the kitchen, those sliding doors lead you out to the pool. Through the back there, is the dining room." I explain quickly and point around, as she again takes in the surroundings in awe.

"God Faye you're like a deer caught in headlights! Somebody grab a tissue for her drool!" Her friend, Michael, cackles at his own joke, earning a snigger from Nico as he munches on what looks like a jam sandwich beside him.

"Says him! He was practically kissing the tiles when I gave him the tour earlier!" Seth mocks the boy Michael in return, as I hear Faye's giggle come from beside me.

"Yeah, Yeah! Rich boy." I hear Michael grumble to himself, earning a scoff from Seth next.

"Rich boy eh? We work hard for our money kid!" Seth argues, as I can't help but find the whole encounter entertaining.

"Kid?! Sure thing old man... what are you anyway like forty?" Michael retaliates, as Nico almost chokes on the last piece of sandwich.

"Keep pushing it and I'll be adding more bruises to your collection!" Seth glares at him next, as I hear the small gasp leave Faye's lips from beside me.

"Enough you two! Why don't you get a room already!" Nico mocks them both, as they both turn to shoot him a look of disgust.

"I may be Gay sweetheart, but trust me when I say I do have standards!" Michael holds his chest to act offended, whilst Seth stands and storms his way out of the kitchen.

"Well fuck... that was a nice conversation." Nico laughs, wiping his jam covered fingers on some kitchen towel.

"Can we go to the pool before the sun goes away?" I look down to see Faye staring up at me with pleading eyes.

"Yeah just don't try to run if you know what's good for you both." I remark, as she nods, before racing to grab her friend from his seat.

"Better go find Seth and go over the plan for tonight." I motion for Nico to follow me, as we head back into the living area to find a moody Seth tapping away furiously on his phone.

"Somebody has for sure rattled your cage." I mock, earning a groan.

"I'm only putting up with him for your stupid plan! He would be dead by now otherwise!" He argues, as I bite back a laugh. He had seriously let the boy fluster him.

"Right let's get to business then boys..."
