Eric walked to his desk. His expression became gloomy when he saw that his books were scattered on the floor.
"Kara, what do you mean? I just complained a little bit. Do you have to make my books a mess? You are too narrow-minded!"
"It's not me. I..." Kara shook her head, trying to explain. But Eric didn't give her the chance.
"Stop it. We saw it. You pushed Rose. And she bumped into my desk. Kara, I didn't know you are such a vicious woman. It's disgusting."
Eric glared at her in disgust as if one more glance at her would pollute his eyes.
"Eric, I wanted to help Kara. Perhaps she was just angry with me because I didn't let her copy my homework this morning. That's why she refused my help. Don't blame her. It's my fault. I didn't lend her my homework because I know I didn't do it well."
Rose lowered her head in grievance, tears flowing down from the corner of her eyes. Her delicate appearance aroused people's sympathy.
Kara was so angry at what she said that she laughed.
Rose was really a good actor. She could go for the Academy Awards!
Rose looked so sad that Erick felt more disgust for Kara. He asked Kara to pick up his book and apologize to Rose.
Kara glanced at him. She picked up the monitor's books. Then she took the broom and turned around to clean the floor.
"Kara, I asked you to apologize to Rose. Didn't you hear me?" Eric yelled.
Kara had put up with it again and again. She was not in good health and did not like to talk, so she did not get along with her classmates.
Eric thought she would not fight back just because she didn't talk much, didn't he?
He was wrong!
"It was me that hit your desk. I've already picked up the books. As for the rest, I don't know what you are talking about!"
"Eric, I am to blame for this. If I didn't try to help her, she would not lose her temper. It's my fault. Kara doesn't need to apologize to me." Rose stood in front of the monitor and said with tears.
"Rose, you're too nice to her. She bullied you! How can you forgive her?"
Eric shook his head. Then he glared at Kara and sneered contemptuously.
"She is spoiled by her family. Her parents have died. Who does she think she is, acting like this?"
Before he finished...
He heard another loud sound. The books that Kara had picked up fell again.
This time, the books were smashed onto the monitor before falling to the ground.
When Kara heard the monitor mention her parents' death, she got furious and threw the books at him.
Everyone saw it. They were shocked and looked at her, thinking that she was out of her mind.
The monitor was the beloved grandson of Mr. Danny Webber of the Webber Group. The teachers in the school liked him a lot, and many girls in the class admired him.
Kara just threw the books at him in front of so many people. She didn't want to study here anymore, did she?
The monitor felt a sharp pain in his forehead. Kara was still throwing books at him.
Eric had never been humiliated like this. He snatched the book from her hand and smashed it on her face.
He raised his arm, but his wrist was pinched by someone.
It was so painful that Eric's hand went numb. And the book in his hand fell to the ground.
Eric raised his head in astonishment and saw a tall man in front of him. His face turned pale.
"Who are you? Let go of me!"
The man let go of Eric, but he kicked Eric in the stomach. Eric retreated backwards and hit the desk on his back. He knelt on the ground in unbearable pain.
When Kara saw that the monitor was going to hit her with a book, she closed her eyes and covered her head with her hands.
Hearing the monitor's miserable scream, she opened her eyes. She was surprised to see the monitor kneeling on the ground. Then she turned around.
A tall man stood upright beside her.
"Uncle James!"
The girl looked at him with her brilliant eyes. As James looked at her, the coldness on his face faded away.
"Can we go home now?"
Kara was delighted and a beautiful smile appeared on her pretty face.
"I'm on duty today. Give me a few minutes."
"OK." James took out his phone and asked Nolan to come over.
Eric sat on the ground and rested for a long time. He was kicked and even went down on his knees. It was too humiliating.
Eric looked up at the man, who seemed to be an acquaintance of Kara. He was irritated.
