Anamika managed to grasp a silver of hope when Diana started to treat Eddy. Although, she has no slightest plan of keeping her own side of the deal. She can't let Diana find out the gigolo's identity.... Her greed wouldn't let her!
She had a plan.....
Harvey on the other hand suddenly boarded a train, infact an aeroplane of thoughts. Diana is General Laura? General Laura has incredible genius kids?
Harvey heaved a sigh as he watched Diana treat his mother and himself connecting the dots and doing some calculations.
The kids are about six years of age... She was barren. How come? Who could possibly father the kid's?
We tried and tried and she couldn't conceive a baby. Could it be she had another man before I threw her out? Or she moved on immediately I threw her out? Or is it the gigolo she spent the night with? Or is it me? I had sex with her thrice, that week.
It can't be the gigolo... Gigolo's are very professionals and they usually severe their fertility so that they can't impregnate a lady.
"I need to find out if she had been with a man for the past seven years!" Harvey concluded.
Meantime..... Cold sweats had began to break out of Diana's forehead as she treated Eddy. She looked mentally drained like one who was able to use all percent of her mental capacity to the extent her training gears were all drenched with the cold sweats.
During this entire time, Anamika watched on nervously, she didn't have any idea about what treatment and reviving method Diana was applying, and she felt the urge to ask.
However, She was worried about disrupting Diana. As for Harvey? Since he snapped out of the land of thoughts, he gawked in amazement from that instant in time.
Diana heaved a long sigh after she gradually and peacefully released his grip on Eddy's necks acupoint.
Diana looked drained, both physically, but she can't show her vulnerable side to Harvey now. Deep down, she was angry at herself. It'd have been a joy if Eddy had died Atleast to make Harvey realize what it means to be hurt and pained.
"She is fine now. Now, tell me his identity!" Diana stated in a serious tone as she stood up.
Anamika glanced at Harvey. She was very corny and until date, Harvey hadn't find out the truth from that day, six years ago. He still believes Diana intentionally cheated on her, thus, Anamika didn't want to hint on that night in the presence of Harvey.
"I said, who is he?" Diana barked, repeating her question and startling Anamika. She in turn gave Diana a bewildered look, "My mum has not even woken up yet and you dare ask me about him?"
Harvey was very mindful of his business that he didn't gave attention to them. He was more worried about his mum waking up.
Diana was confounded by Anamika's reaction, her instincts telling her that Anamika would not keep to her side of the deal. However, she had made up her mind not to fall into Anamika's trap again, so, she put Eddy's system into an overdrive, such that when she wakes up, she will begin to die again after some minutes. It was a back up plan peradventure Anamika refuses to disclose his identity.
Right at that moment, healthy coughs rang out in the room. The beeping monitor returning to it's normal beeping state and the the life saving machines returning to it's normal.
Eddy was finally awake.
"Mum!" Harvey reacted quickly by trying to help her up, on the process, Diana held him back, "Mr Harvey, not until Anamika keeps to her own side of the deal. You think I'd voluntarily treat your despicable mother?"
Harvey's face flushed bright red with some kind of rage. What gives Diana the temerity to call his mum despicable? If not she had been the one who treated her, he would by now give her a sound slap to correct her.
He turned Anamika and gestured, "What deal?"
"Woah!" Eddy said as she felt her breathing improve while colour gradually returned to her face.
Anamika was greatly relieved and astounded to see the glow returning to her mother's cheek and improvement in her condition.
She then gallantly walked over to Diana with a satisfactory smirk on her face, "I can't believe you learnt nothing for a whole seven years... You're still very much gullible!" She spat and started laughing gibingly.
"What do you mean?" Diana inquired.
"You'll never know him!" Anamika declared and laughed mockingly afterwards.
Her laugh made Diana's laughter to laugh also, causing Anamika's laugh to fade away with a replacement of a befuddled expression.
"Why are you laughing?" Anamika thought and inquired,
"You think you're the most corny? You'll find out soon!" With that said, Diana picked up her medical bad and first aid box and walked out. Leaving Anamika and her brother in a bemused state.
Immediately Diana left, Eddy who was up to now healthy and condition thus far improving started to struggle for breathe.
"Hmmmmpppppph!" She tried to breath but she couldn't. Blood began to drain from her face.
Anamika and Harvey were suddenly alarmed, "Mum?" They both called in a panic-struck voice as they reacted quickly to aid her breathing with the oxygen mask.
Even with that, she didn't respond, she started to die again.
"What did Diana did? Shit!" Anamika rushed out of the hospital room at once to find Diana walking down the stairs.
"Diana!" She called out to Diana who in turn ignored her.
"He is Mr X Please come save my mother now!"
"Mr X?" Diana stopped in her tracks when she heard that. At that point in time, her wristwatch alarm rang out.
It was time for her to report to duty and she is even yet to see her kids let alone have her breakfast.
"How can I be sure you're not lying?" Diana asked coldly.
"My mum is dying! How can I lie?" Anamika vented in her act.
"Where is his address?" Diana inquired,
"He owns legendary Erotic bar! You can always find him there!" Anamika answered.
Diana then turned and walked back to the hospital room and over to Eddy's bed. With a finger stab at Eddy's vital points, she jerked up like one would, when coming out of water after long hours of staying underneath the water.
"It had better be him!" Diana warned Anamika, shot Harvey an icy glare before she walked out.
In a jiffy, Diana arrived at the central field.
She was officially going to be Introduced to the officers before she resumes duty.
Meantime, General Derrick was on his way to the training field whereupon General Laura's kids were training.....
