2:Chapter 32
Waking to the beaming sun, my guys surrounded me, and having a wee babe kicking your bladder would make anyoone a gymnast at this point. I twisted, curled, slide, and finally ran to the bathroom. Once relieved I entered the room, dressing for the day. A comfortable long sleeve with holes for my thumbs and a pair of thick, fleece lined leggings. The men never moving as I watched their chests rise and fall, peaceful expressions as they continued their dreams. Smiling softly I grabbed my bag and headed out the door. I needed to find a room large enough to lay out each and every stone in a circular pattern. I asked a few maids who stuck their noses up and went on their way as if I didn’t exist.
“Well that’s hospitality.” I growled sarcastically.
“Madam?” A male’s voice came from behind me. “Is everything alright?” When I spun around it was the head butler in charge of the recon men.
“Honestly? Your maids are disrespectful, I have asked numerous times if there is a room, pretty vacant, but large? Their responses have been scoffs, eye rolls, ignoring me, or sneering.”
“I do apologize for their behaviors!” His look of shock was quickly covered with a look of anger. “ALL MAIDS REPORT TO THE MAIN LOBBY THIS INSTANT!” He voice rang through the halls. “Please madam, come this way, I will show you to a few rooms that may fit what you are looking for.” He bowed and began walking. First stopping at the lobby where the maids had all lined up, faces full of shock and dismay.
“If I hear you ever disrespect a guest again, the culprit or culprits will be fired on the spot. If I catch wind, see, or am approached by Lady Dragoness, Master Elre’s fated mate, about such imputant behavior, you will bbe fired on the spot. You all showed immaturity, disrespect, and worst yet you have shamed me by not giving the most upscaled hospitality. Each of you will have your choirs and at noon, for the next month, you all will sit with me for an hour and go over proper etiqueete, hospitality, and all other manners!” He glared at each one, many heads hung low others looked ready to cry. “You all are dismissed! Class is at noon.”With that they practically ran from the room, aand we were on the move again.
“Umm, sir, what is your name? I never caught it.” I ask as we walk through a few rooms but some are just to cluttered.
“I am Maleo, I am head butler.” He smiled.”May I ask what you need the room for, I may be able to pin point one most suited for what you need.”
“Well, for me to move the whole city from A to B I have stored my powerup in gems, to move a large village I am going to need to have quite a bit of them and the easiest way is for me to stand here and create circles around me. This way I can pull the powers from all the stones versus trying to search for each one. As one circle is depleted I move to the next and repeat the process as I cast.” I explain. He sits a moment before his expression changes to an aha.
“I have the perfect room, please please follow me.” He smiles as he walks hurriedly across the large staircase to the opposite wing. Twisting here and turning there we arrive outside beautifully decorated doors. As Maleo pushes the doors open, a large circular room can be seen, the ceiling a number of panes of glass give the perfect view of the sky above.
“This room is stunning and is perfectly sized for what I need. What is this room, if I may ask?”Before Maleo could answer a sickly sweet voice echoed behind me.
“The Infinite room. Elre and my favorite room to gaze at the stars and make love under the moon.” As I turned I was face to face with a woman who looked to be in her late twenties, her hair was a dark brown almost black, matching the colors of her eyes. Her clothing was a silk gown of the deepest green. “Maleo, why have you brought this GUEST here. Since when does Elre allow them to wander around freely?” She looked down her nose at him.
“Lady Damanica, I did not know you had returned. Queen Dragoness I do apologize for her rude tongue.” Maleo bowed to me.
“What is a Queen doing in our village? Come to splurge on shopping? Look down on the locals? Walk around tainting our air?” She sneered. I held my hand up to Maleo as his face paled and he had begun apologizing again.
“No actually I came to find out what this place was, since receiving an alliance letter, once here we watched interactions, shopped, and spoke to the locals. Later the same night, I also found my fated mate. Now after speaking to him, the village voting, and helping the locals secure their items, I will be moving the village.” I spoke as if her words didn’t echo in my mind, I stood tall and my head held high. I was not allowing another woman to demean me nor speak of my mate in that manner.
“You have no right to move this village, once Elre hears of this..”
“Once I hear of what?” Elre’s voice hissed at her. He stood in a loose t-shirt, a pair of jeans that just slipped off his hips slightly. His anger written acrossed his face as the other four stood behind him. All of them staring down Lady Damanica. Her pale face flush as she saw all eyes on her.
“This...this...woman...is going to move our village. We do not need her alliance nor her help. Our people..” She backed away slowly as Elre cocked his head slightly as if he didn’t hear her properly.
“Excuse me? Our? You belong in the village a day away. I gave you shelter as your own village was under repair due to a winter storm. We WILL be moving our village today, we being Anya, MY fated mate, along with her other fated mates. You will return IMMEDIATELY to your own village.” His voice was protective. Lady Damanica had seemed stunned for a moment, bowing her head, and then walking away quickly.
“That woman is a leech. Maleo see to it that she leaves the village, all her belongings must go immediately as well. We need to assist Anya and set up for the move.” Elre instructed as Maleo bowed and hurried off. Elre moved smoothly towards me as he place a gentle hand on my cheek. No words were needed as I nodded I was okay and ready to continue.
“This room is perfect. The paneling above actually helps significantly as it helps create a focal area to cast the large net of magic over the entire village. Now we just got to line up every stone in this bag in circles. “ I smiled as I pulled out a drawstring back, inside was very tiny gems.
“Well, that doesn’t seem like a very hard task.” Lazarath and Alastar echoed one another causing Rugan and Shura to look at one another and laugh. I reversed the minimizing spell as the two men leapt backwards away from the much larger pile of gems.
“Okay, now that’s a different story.” I Alastar smiled his half smirk as we all began grabbing gems and laying them on the outer edge and slowly closing each circle one by one. As I stood in the middle after an hour of placing stones, I felt satisfied with the layout. A small path from me to the door was created so I may leave and enter before I began casting. My stomach releasing it’s mighty roar as I ponder what to eat before I begin. The guys chuckling as the bring different patterns to my attention, grabbing things here and there before I felt fully sated.
“Please, begin sounding the bells, everyone needs to be inside.” Elre nodded to a guard who pushed a rather large button, the sounds of bells in unison cascading over the village as everyone entered their homes. Once the signal was given of all clear I walked into the center of the room and began casting.
“DIZAPT ILLUS NITREA.” I chanted over and over, the village ruumbling, the walls, shook, a veil of multicolors beginning to dome over pouring down to the ground. The first circle glowed brillantly, as it began to dull the second ring began to glow, slowly I pulled the power from each one. After what seemed like hours the veil finally reached the ground on all sides, the village began to rise slowly as it sperated from the earth below us. Once free the easy part came, we had teleported immediatley to a large clearing, gently placing the village down, the surroundingearth shimmied, and moved to create space for the village. Claiming the edges of buildings as if they were built here. The walls finally stopped their trembling, the creaks and cracks of the buildings settling finally subsided as the veil retracted. Once silence filled the air, the veil completley gone, I nodded to Elre and the men, signaling the guard to ring the bells again to let the citizens know everything had gone smoothly and their new home was here.
Villagers came out one by one, flooding the streets as they drew in the fresh clean air. Though it was cold, it wasn’t a frigid mountain top, people were actually taking layers off. Cheers filled the air as we looked out over the large balcony. A large bellowing roar was heard as the villagers hushed. Racing down to the square Blathir and Raza had joined us as we rounded the corner greeting our beloved dragons.
“Come come! Meet the mighty dragons who have helped build our todays and shape our tomorrows!” Elre called out causing the children to run to Blathir and Raza . Blathir rumbling as he was happy from all the little ones attention. Nuzzling and rubbing against them as an onslaught of giggles erupted from the children.
“I think they like them.” I chuckled the adults now joing the children as hands rubbed their bodies. “They are going to go back to Austreal prancing about with all this attention.” I giggled to Rugan.
“Here’s to our tomorrows.” He pecked my lips gently.
“I have a much needed dinner date with a little girl who will put me in timeout if I am late.” Shura smirked.
“Oh I almost forgot our tea party.” Lazarath face palmed. “I promised Edna I’d be there.”
“Rugan and I have sparring lessons with Lucian and Levi as well.” Alastar smiled proudly. “You should join us Elre, he’s quite a fighter.”
Elre looked puzzled for a minute.
“Edna and Lucian are the twins, though we may not have helped create them, they are our children as well. We will support them in any way.” Rugan smiled.
“Let’s go meet our son and daughter shall we?” Elre’s smile nearly hit his eyes as he looked so excited.
