Chapter 101 A long ride
The same day, they all went back to Arthur’s house, including Derick and his husband. They helped Aurora bring him out of the car and place him on the wheelchair, while she pushed him into the house.
“God, I’ve missed this place so much.” He mumbled and raised his head to look at Aurora, who had a faint smile on her face.
“I do miss it too.” She answered, looking at his face. Then she recalled the doctor had told her to clean the scratches on his face which were plastered.
“We should clean your scratches as soon as they are gone.” She added, and Arthur nodded.
“Okay, Ma’am.” He responded teasingly, which made Aurora furrow her brows.
“Ma’am?” She asked with a chuckle, and he nodded. “Why is that?” She further asked.
“Because I’ll be doing whatever you ask of me without questioning your opinion.” He answered with their gazes locked.
“Can somebody get these two a bed already? They've been so flirty since we left the hospital,” Carter muttered, rolling his eyes.
“You know we can flirt too, hun? It’s been a while.” Derick responded with a wink, pulling Carter closer by the waist.
“And what do people like me do, hun?” Theo uttered, folding his arms around his chest.
“Well, you’ll just have to find a woman.” Arthur answered, and he scoffed.
“It’s not that easy finding a woman when I’m always in the house, Mr. Arthur. I need to be out there to find a woman, and that isn’t happening.” He responded with a chuckle, gathering the boys to himself.
“Why isn’t that happening?” Aurora further asked.
“What other reason? I’m working here. I can’t just leave the kids and the house and start looking for a woman. And honestly, I’m not sure I’m ready.” He answered with laughter.
“Uncle Theo, we are hungry,” Riley mumbled as he held onto Theo’s leg.
“You see that, don’t you? I have other pressing issues to attend to. Come on boys, let’s go and make something for everyone.” He said to the boys, and they nodded enthusiastically and followed him to the kitchen.
With a deep sigh, Derick looked at Arthur again. “I think this is a good time to head back home. We have missed our house so much too.” He said, and Carter nodded in agreement, holding onto his arm and resting his head on his shoulder.
“Yes. Yes. You should go home and rest. You’ve done so much for us already. We can’t thank you enough.” Aurora answered.
“I don’t even know where to start showing my appreciation to both of you. You have been so supportive and kind to me. Thank you so much for being here when I needed you the most.”
“We are friends. What are you even talking about? This is what friends do to each other.” Derick uttered, moving closer to him. “And in the next life, we’ll be friends again, Arthur.” He added, placing his hand on Arthur’s shoulder, and they smiled at each other.
He moved away and walked back to where Carter stood, and Carter held onto him again.
“We’ll keep reaching out over the phone, okay? Please take care of yourself. And for you, Aurora. I know you’ll do everything you can to make him better, and that’s why I love you.” Carter uttered, and Aurora pursued her lips as she smiled.
“Come and give me a hug before you go.” She walked up to Carter with her arms opened wide and they embraced each other.
“I love you, Carter.” She muttered.
“And I love you, baby girl. I don’t love you more because that ‘more’ belongs to Derick.” He responded and they all broke into laughter.
“Of course,” Derick answered boastfully.
After the greetings and farewells, Aurora walked them to the door and watched them leave. She kept waving at them until they were out of sight.
She got back into the house, shut the door and walked back to where Arthur was.
“You are blessed with amazing people, Carter. Theo is one of them. We shouldn’t forget to appreciate him too.” She uttered, pushing his wheelchair to the room on the first floor that Theo had prepared for him.
“And I shouldn't forget you, Aurora.” He responded as soon as they got into the room.
“I… I know I don’t deserve your care, love and attention. I’ve been horrible to you from the very beginning, I’ve hurt you, called you all sorts of horrible names that I shouldn’t, and here you are today. With me… a man on a wheelchair.
“I don’t know how to tell you how grateful I am, Aurora, but two things I’ll do.”
“And what is that?” She asked, squatting in front of him.
“First… Thank you.” He uttered, reaching for her face and cupping them in his hands.
“And secondly?” She asked with a smile.
“My actions will show how grateful I am this day that you’re right here with me. How grateful I am that you left wherever you were to come down here and be with me.”
His thumb caressed her face as he spoke, and she smiled widely and nodded.
“I’ll do anything for you, Arthur.”
“No. I don’t want you to do anything for me anymore. You’ve done enough. I will do anything and everything for you.”
With a chuckle, she bobbed again. “Okay, sir.” She teased.
“Can I kiss you?” He asked, with his eyes lingering on her lips. She licked her lips softly and nodded, moving up so her face could touch his.
With his hands still cupping her face, their lips touched. They both took deep breaths as the feelings brought memories back. Without hesitation, Arthur went in deeper.
Covering her whole mouth with his and slightly withdrawing so he could nibble on her lower lips. Aurora leaned closer, her upper body, almost resting on him.
She held onto the wheelchair hands for support, but soon, she grew tired of holding onto it. She wanted to hold him too.
Just then, she let go of the chair, and Arthur almost fell forward as all his bodyweight was now at the tip of the chair
“Oh my… I’m sorry!” She uttered amidst laughter. Arthur also laughed, shaking his head.
“No, you don’t have to be sorry. I should. I inconvenienced you.” He answered, brushing her hair with his palm.
“Should we move to the bed then?” She asked with a smirk, and immediately, his face lit up.
“I mean… I can still walk on one leg. That shouldn’t be an issue.” He answered enthusiastically, already wanting to get up. Aurora hastily stood up and offered him her hand.
With his hand holding hers firmly, he leaped on one leg to the bed and sat. Aurora went ahead to pull him up the bed so his back was resting on the headboard.
“Give me a minute.” She said to him, and she walked to the door and locked it. “Just to make sure we aren’t interrupted.” She answered, and Arthur nodded with a chuckle.
Approaching the bed, Aurora started getting rid of her clothes, with her eyes fixed on Arthur’s face. He gulped hard as he watched her whole clothing fall off her body, leaving her in her underwear.
She got to the bed, got on it and crawled up to him. “Today, you don’t have to do anything. We shouldn’t stress your leg, right?” She uttered, and Arthur nodded eagerly.
Biting her lower lips seductively, Aurora reached for Arthur’s pants as she settled over him. She pulled it down to his knees, and raised her head to look at his face.
She could see the bulge in his boxers already. “Look who is so hungry.” She muttered, carefully grabbing his aching bulge on her hand.
He shivered in response to her touch, swallowing hard as they maintained eye contact. His eyelids could barely stay open as he felt her hand slide into his boxers.
Grabbing his naked shaft again, he grabbed onto the bed, biting his lower lip. Aurora pulled his boxer down to his knee and positioned herself on top of his hardness.
“I’m going on a long ride. Stay with me.” She whispered as she guided his manhood into her wetness.
“Ahh…”
