Chapter 95:

Chapter 97:
Alley POV:

While Pythia was doing a locator spell I thought it would be best to pay Tyler a little visit down in the cells. There was so much going on at once but I had to find a way to multitask. “So who wants to join me in the cells? I need to get into Tylers head to see what else is going on.” I asked, looking around. “I’ll go, I’ve always liked a good head dive.” Ambrosia smiled. “No way you are going without me either, just because his wolf sleeps doesn’t mean I trust him.” Stephen added. “Alright well let’s go and get this done before Pythia gets here.” I replied, grabbing onto them. Teleportation was the easiest, I knew it wouldn’t be long before Pythia came back and we would have to leave. Elijah was still curled into a ball on the floor against the wall but Tyler on the other hand was awake staring at us. “What do you want now?” Tyler questioned. “Information you won’t willingly give us.” Ambrosia retorted. Tyler shrugged his shoulders. I rolled my eyes and opened the cell.

He didn’t budge, probably aware of what I was going to do and without his wolf he couldn’t match any of our strength. “Are you going to move away from the wall or am I going to have to drag you?” I asked, looking down at him. He once again shrugged his shoulders and I was beginning to lose my patience. Grabbing him by the shirt, I dragged him to the middle of the small cell room and placed my hands on the sides of his head. Honestly, I wished I could make this painful but I needed to know what memories he had. I wanted to know who the wolves were, where they are, is someone leading them? We haven’t seen any of them so far and I found that to be highly suspicious. I was shifting through his memories only to come up empty. “Can’t tell you things I don’t know.” Tylers voice rang out. “There has to be something in here that you are hiding, I just need to dig a little harder.” I grunted feeling myself push harder. He was working hard to keep me from seeing something.

Finally a memory came out, and I was stunned by what I was seeing. This memory was just a few days old because I could see Ava and Starsha in shackles. Tyler was walking up to a large house located in the middle of the woods, “Stay here and don’t say anything.” Tyler growled. Where the hell is this? None of this looked remotely familiar. Tyler walked up to the door and knocked on it before stepping back and placing both hands in front of him. When the door opened a blonde haired woman answered the door. “Hi, can I help you?” She asked. She had dark brown eyes and olive skin. “I’m looking for Owen, is he around?” Tyler asked. “He should be up in his study but may I ask what this is about?” She questioned taking a step back. “Why don’t you all come out and I can explain everything.” Tyler offered gently. If I didn’t know anything about him I would think he was being polite but apparently the woman in front of him saw right through him.

She looked at him from head to toe, “You may stay on the porch, I’ll go get Owen and he can decide.” She replied before shutting the door. Tyler took a step back just before the door swung open and an older version of Stephen stepped out. My breath caught in my throat. “What the hell do you want?” He growled. “Calm down, you don’t even know me.” Tyler retorted. Does he honestly not know when to stop talking.. “I don’t care who you are. What do you want?” Owen who I now know is AJ growled. He has a wolf.. That is a good sign. “I am here because I was sent to find you, I know who you are, I know what you are and I am here because she has sent me.” Tyler replied, holding his hands up. “So you know I’m a wolf. So what? I don’t know who ‘she’ is but both of you can fuck off and leave us all alone.” AJ snapped. I looked a little closer to see something was surrounding him and the others.

I tilted my head to see it was the shield. AJ has a shield! So he knows how to use that, this makes everything so much better. “You know who she is, you didn’t really think you fully got away all those years ago now did you?” Tyler questioned and everything changed. In the blink of an eye AJ had shifted into a large black and white wolf with gray eyes. I was snapped out of his head before I could see anything else. I blinked a few times to see that Stephen had him by the throat against the wall. “What did you do to him?!” Stephan roared. “Better hope you find him soon.” Tyler laughed. I went completely numb.. Oh no.. What did Tyler do to him? Stephen slammed him so hard against the wall Tyler fell unconscious to the ground. “We need to go, like now.” Ambrosia said, pulling on my arm. “Did you have the link open to everyone?” Ambrosia asked and I nodded my head, everyone just watched this. No one but us knows who AJ is so we can avoid questions right now. “I want to know where his memories of the wolves are.. Ambrosia, there was nothing there that I could find. How is that possible?” I was confused. “Maybe she erased his memory as well. We can’t focus on that just yet though, something happened and we need to get going.” Ambrosia exasperated. I grabbed Stephen by the back of his shirt and took us back to the office where Abby, Kevin, Pythia and the others were waiting.

Abby looked extremely pale, and I could easily tell that Kevin had murder on his mind. “Did you find him?” I asked. “Yes, Tennessee, Jasper and Jenson are coming with us and so is Xander and Tye. Where is Jackson?” Pythia asked, looking around. “I’m here, by what that looks like I’d say we need to be caught up.” Jackson said barging in the room. “It’s Stephens missing brother, he doesn’t know who he is or where he comes from. Long story short, he was kidnapped by Jeremys dad, Jeremy saved him well, all of them but all of those people have no memory of anything. We still need to tread carefully with this. Something happened and we need to go. Pythia?” I called looking at her. She nodded her head once and as we all prepared ourselves and held on tightly in an instant we were standing in the woods. I looked over at Jeremy, “I think you need to go and knock on the door, maybe they will remember you from that night. We will stay back.” I whispered. “What?! No way!” Kevin shouted and I shushed him. “Listen to me! They don’t know who we are but they might remember the boy that saved them. That will give Jeremy the in he needs to introduce us all but it is very important that no one says anything about who they really are right now.” I whispered harshly.

I hated it just as much as they did but right now, at this moment it was crucial that we did not overwhelm any of them. “Give me a moment.” Jeremy said before he looked at Cassie. “Stay here with the others.” Jeremy added kissing the top of her head before he walked off. “Hide us.” I whispered to Pythia and she nodded once. When Jeremy looked back he looked around before giving a thumbs up. Perfect, now they wouldn’t be able to see us either. I watched as he knocked on the front door and the same woman answered. She leaned in a little further before realization struck her and she hugged him. When she stepped back I could see words were exchanged before they both turned and looked in our directions. “Come on guys.” Jeremy called out. “Remember what I said.” I reminded. Pythia whispered a few words and I heard the woman gasp. I stepped to the front and kept my dimenor in check, the last thing I wanted to do was scare her. “All of these people are you friends?” She asked as we got closer. “They are, they are really good people and they are here to help.” Jeremy replied. “Hello, I’m Alley.” I said gently as I extended my hand. “Brianna, nice to meet you. Jeremy said you have that other guy in jail? Is that true?” Brianna asked.

I nodded my head, “It is true, we found  you because of his memories and we know what he is. The man that fought him could be in serious danger and we just want to help is all.” I explained. “His memories? How do you know about that?” Brianna asked, leaning back slightly. “We will explain everything in time, I promise but where is the man? Is he injured?” Pythia asked. “He is, well, has been since the day after that fight. We don’t know what is wrong with him.” Brianna whispered and I could hear the sadness in her voice. “May we see him? Please?” I nearly begged. We knew Tyler had wolfsbane laced in his gums and if we don’t do something AJ will die. Brianna nodded her head as she turned around and walked inside. We followed her silently through the kitchen, living room and finally to a large door. “He might be a bit cranky, apologies in advance.” Brianna whispered before she opened the door. Jeremy walked in first heading straight for the bed while the rest of us piled in and hovered, waiting for him to introduce us. “Hey man, long time no see.” Jeremy said.

I could see AJ turn his head to try to focus on Jeremy. “Wh.. Who are you?” He croaked and I held my breath. “Owen.. It’s him. The boy that saved us.” Brianna whispered as she sat on the edge of the bed. “Jeremy?” AJ said trying to sit up. “Yeah man.. It’s me. I brought some friends. I hope you don’t mind. We know what happened and we know how to fix you up so you’re as good as new.” Jeremy replied. “I don’t care as long as this shit stops.. I don’t know what is wrong with me.” AJ whispered weakly. Jeremy looked over at me and I looked at Pythia and Ambrosia. We slowly walked over to the side of the bed and I could now see just how bad he was. His skin was as white as paper, he was drenched in sweat and shaking. “Hello, I am Alley, this is Pythia and Ambrosia. We need to see your wound.” I said gently.

Brianna pulled back the blanket and on his right thigh was a bite mark, the skin around it was gray but the wound itself was black. “Well, you aren’t going to like how I do this at all but I promise it will be worth it. I need everyone with a wolf to leave this room.” Pythia announced standing back to her feet. “I’ll be right back.” She added before she disappeared. “What the hell was that?!” Brianna yelled jumping to her feet. “Very long story, she’s actually my sister in law but she is also a dark witch, queen of them actually, Ambrosia here is the vampire queen. What is important is we fix him and then we will explain everything but he was bitten with wolfsbane. Highly toxic and it is killing him. What she has to do is pull it from him and all of us with a wolf can’t be around it.” I explained quickly. “Owen..” Brianna called looking at him. “It’s fine, Jeremy saved us once, I don’t question he would betray that now. Just go.” AJ said quickly.

Brianna was hesitant to stand but she did, “I’ll stay with Ambrosia until Pythia gets back.” Jeremy whispered and I nodded my head. “Let’s go to the living room and I’ll get the others. Someone needs to explain what is going to happen to him and what all of this is.” Brianna pointed around to us all. “I’ll explain everything.” I promised. I took one last look at AJ before I turned around to see Stephen, Abby and Kevin staring, unmoving. I rested my hand on his arm, “Let’s go handsome.” I whispered, pulling them from the room. I know how badly they wanted to talk to him but now was not the time to do that. We needed to get him better before we tried to tell him everything…
