Chapter 45

CHAPTER 45

ALLISON'S POV

"We got lucky that we weren't killed but the fact that we don't know how many they are or their capacity. That leaves us with little or no chances of ever seeing your child Allison" Christian made it look like my child was gone forever and the chances of ever holding him in my arms were slim.

"What do you mean?" I had to be sure of my thoughts, hoping that he would clarify my doubts.

"Well what I mean is that whatever that we're planning we have to be conscious and at the same time careful so that we don't get ourselves hooked in a disastrous cross roads that might cost us our lives" He explained this gave me more cause to worry, she was a warrior that had resurrected an an ancient pack.

"This is bigger than we thought we'll definitely involve the council" Xavier advised, knowing that the council would so nothing because I and Xavier are not married, we're just mates with a child.

"We can't involve the council, this is even bigger than the council. If the Time for the full moon festival is close, on that day she would get to kill your son and use his blood to raise an undefeatable army" Christian retorted, staring into the eyes of Xavier, Xavier was scared about losing his child.

"We have to stop her," I stuttered, hoping if Christian had a plan on how to stop her from causing more damage.

"She has her fort already that I'm sure about, we have to think of making a divine move"

"What's a divine move?"I and Xavier said these words in unison, we're all wondering what a divine move is. The tone at which Christian mentioned it was a bit scary, I concluded that it was a life for a life trade.

"A divine move is a plan that can't be counterfeited" He divulged, I felt a sense of relief through my spines.

"Well we can't really make up that plan"Xavier uttered, knowing that the capabilities of our enemies were unknown so using a divine move can be countered easily.

"We can once we have a scholar who knows his way around spells, that way we can avert her spells, that scholar would surely help us with a cover in order to blend with the people of her pack" this idea was brilliant, I was scared at the rate at which Christian did his thinking, felt like he was a part of the whole plan.

"We can't really do this until we're fully ready"

"In that case let me use this medium to apologize to you Allison? If there's any word or action that I've done in the past and the present don't worry about the future I'll make sure I commit no wrong, please forgive me... I would never think of harming your child" I had to stop him halfway in his words with a kiss on his lips, I made him realize how much I wanted him to be that man I would never get scared of. This made me realize that he was truly innocent, and I had to trash away my doubts and envelope myself with his aura of innocence.

"I would leave you both" I cared less about his words, I knew this was definitely a good way to make him happy, I felt like making another baby with Xavier but I felt too weak to do so, it felt like I should just stop kissing him before he gets into it so deeply that I would be forced to give him my cunt.

"Hey I'm weak, just cuddle me while we lay on the bed" I uttered as I kissed him yet again and broke the kiss, I didn't mind that this wasn't my room I just wanted to rest and a bed is all I need and not a luxurious surrounding.

"What would you name your child when we bring him back to the palace?" Xavier's question had me rocked, I felt sad and happy at the same time, it gave me these mixed feelings. Sad about the fact that I didn't even have a name for my son and happy over the fact that I could see true care and concern in the eyes of Xavier.

"Time would tell what name he would be given if he survives in the hand of that monster" I divulged, holding up my smile.

"She would surely pay for what she did, and it might be with her life" I was a little bit pissed when Xavier said he was going to just kill her, after all she did what she deserves is a slow painful death.

"I don't want her to die, I want her to beg for her death. She would be so ashamed of herself and the hurt I would inscribe into her heart will burn like hot coals, that's my desire" I growled wearing a smile on my face, I knew this wasn't me but the pains and trauma she had me go through made this new me and until my desires are fulfilled I can't think of discarding this dark side of me.

"That's really nice because I would be there to see you punish the lady that caused you to be this mad, you see what you did to me" Xavier uttered as he revealed the marks I made on his left cheek, I was a bit mild knowing that the damage was slight.

"Is this all I did to you?" I chortled as we both laughed at my words.

"Your punches weren't hard but they were many that's why you made these bruises but you could change that to few punches and collateral damage, the damage would be so huge that you would be surprised" Xavier uttered I was a bit surprised at his words, I couldn't even lay the right punches, wondering how he was going to make my knuckles so hard that it could leave someone with hard bruises.

"Let's rest tomorrow I would train you into being a warrior, even when you're weak you could fight off a bunch of soldiers" I sighed in a mild tone.

"Ok let's rest" the last words I said before sleeping off.

Opening my eyes I realized that it was another day, I hated the fact that I was asleep for that long.

"Where's Xavier?" I uttered wondering if he abandoned me in the castle and went on without me.

I tossed the pillows, wondering what the piece of paper that fell off the bed had written inside, I knew it was him that wrote the words. I opened it and read thus,

"Meet me at the training grounds when you're ready" I heaved up a deep sigh as I read the words out loud.

I looked over at the mirror staring at the robe that had my name written on it.

I wore it immediately, happy that it was my fit. I stepped out to the training grounds, staring at Xavier exercising his body on a tree.

"Hey look who's here?" Xavier uttered as he looked over at Christian who jumped off the tree at the same time Xavier jumped off.

"Welcome my angel" He uttered as he tried to hug me, instead I tossed him over my back as his body hit hard on the floor.

"I'm here to train so don't mix training with pleasures" I uttered as me and Christian clasped our hands.

"Well it's really because I let my guard down that you got away with it, I would have my own time to laugh soon" he uttered as Christian couldn't stop laughing at what happened to Xavier.

"That wouldn't happen cause when I step in here I would never let my guard down" I spoke with so much confidence.

"Well let's begin, cause we don't have time... Once you're done with your basic training then we can move on to fighting with weapons. That way you'll surely be an element of surprise."

"I like the sound of that" I sighed.

"I need your help" I whispered as Xavier walked to the gates, I guess he wanted to order the guards to do something.

"I feel like my child is calling me and when he calls my heart throbs knowing that Xavier would never let me leave this castle" I stuttered, Christian felt the impact of my words.

"What do you want me to do? Or should I say how would I help?" I was glad when he accepted to help me.

"I want you to distract him that way I get to leave this castle and I'll be back with my child that I promise you" I uttered he saw the resilience in my eyes, he knew how serious my mind was made up.

"Isn't it too risky?"

"I would definitely risk my life for that of my son" I chimed into his words.

"Whatever you do just let me know when the time is right. I'll help you" He conceded to my words.

"Are you guys plotting another cheap shot on me?"
