Chapter 97 need help
"How many days have l slept, this time?", I asked in a low voice while cuddling more to Idris. "The least I can say is three weeks", He rasped as his warm hands gently roamed over my sides then stopped on my belly. "Ohh!", It's all i said before I turned and looked around the room.
The late morning sunlight was streaming through the windows but that isn't what caught my attention. As my eyes stared around, my gaze fall on the sonogram machine and more different clinical instruments. "What... Why did you bring them in here?", Startled, I instantly sat up. "It was Zara's suggestion. Dr Tracy is coming to check on you", He responded while sitting up too.
"No cuddling, no kisses, am coming in", Zara's voice sounded behind the door.
"Come....
"Am already in", Just as Idris, began she cut him off as she entered inside. A smile formed on my face when my eyes fall on her. I was happy to see that she was now fine , so cute not the pale Zara who collapsed in my hands. "Raelynn darling", She ran quickly towards and wrapped her arms around me. "You missed me?", It was stupid question and I chuckled.
"Definitely", She rolled her eyes after pulling away from me. "I have a lot of things I want to tell you but not right now, Dr Tracy has arrived", My smile widened when my eyes fall on Dr Tracy who was now aging. She was the only doctor who always checked me, even the first time when I became pregnant. Though she didn't recall my past, I was still happy.
"You can come over and check me", I spoke before laying down on the bed. After pulling the baggy shirt up my belly, Dr Tracy squirted a cold gel across my belly. It wasn't the first time to be in such a condition but this time I didn't feel the chill of the goop. However the writhing in my stomach caught my attention when the probe pressed against the fast growing bump. A smile spread across my face and I closed my eyes briefly.
"Am sure the new Alphas will be loyal to us", I heard Zara's voice. "Definitely they will", Idris squeezed my hand and I opened my eyes. Their eyes were riveted on the sonogram, waiting for the image of the babies to show up. "They will be so strong like their mother", I looked over and admired his profile while he was entranced with the blurry images on the screen.
I squeezed his hand and brought his knuckles to my lips for a kiss.
"Are you nervous?", He turned his attention on me.
"No of course", I chuckled.
"Ah! There we are", Dr Tracy exclaimed as two shaped baby shadows materialized on the screen.
"The heirs of Blue Moon pack", Zara murmured.
Idris's jaw dropped as he stared at the screen and the image of two little babies growing inside. My heart rate was speeding up with excitement as I took in the sight.
"I will surely care for those babies, I can't wait", I turned my gaze to Zara.
"Zara what about your ma....."
"I already met my mate", She shrugged her shoulders.
"When?", I asked kinda shocked.
"While you were unconscious", She responded and my mouth fall open. I really slept for a long time!.
"Let me go prepare you something", Zara spoke while leaning closer to me. "Find me in the kitchen quickly, eat food first then sex will follow"
"What?", I instantly gasped when I heard her whisper the words in my ear.
"In this condition, you gonna need a lot of energy to handle and satisfy my brother", She winked at me as she walked out of the room.
I stared in disbelief as I watched her walk away. She seriously turned naughty. She now met her mate and that was maybe the reason why she was behaving like this. Thankfully Idris had his eyes still on the screen and he perhaps didn't hear her.
"You have made me a better man", He lastly brought my hands to his lips and kissed them sweetly. "You already a wonderful man and soon you will be a wonderful father", Idris smirked before chuckling at my statement. I just rose my brows and pursued my lips at him in response. "I mean it"
"Would you like photos from the sonogram?, Alpha", Dr Tracy quietly interrupted. "Of course", I chimed in before Idris had a chance to open his mouth. "Okay", Dr Tracy began wiping away the gel from my belly. She walked away and began to fiddle with the sonogram machine and Idris turned his eyes to me.
"Anything the Luna wants, she gets", He cooed and I blushed pink.
"I can't wait to see.....",
"Alright would you like to know the gender?", Dr Tracy interrupted once more cutting through the tension between me and Idris.
"It's up to you, Luna", Idris offered.
I gnawed on the inside of my cheek for a moment. Part of me desperately wanted to know but the surprise might be worth the wait. "Perhaps not at the moment", I made up my mind and rubbed my hand over my belly before joining hands with Idris.
"Well by the looks, you have accelerated growth and soon you will be giving birth probably in two weeks", Our gazes snapped up to gaze at Dr Tracy.
"That seems so soon", I mused with my eyes on Dr Tracy.
"Wow", Idris's eyes were twinkling with joy and a soft laugh eased from his lips.
"Yes that is the fact and with the accelerated growth, your body needs more rest. It's only natural after you have been through and with the babies you will need a lot of rest", Dr Tracy was looking in her notebook, making some notes in it. "I don't want to rest anymore", I grumbled.
"You have to do it darling", Idris slowly rubbed my knuckles.
"Do you have any question for me in the meantime?",
"No doctor, thank you", I chimed in quickly.
"I will be in touch if anything changes", She spoke respectfully before she got her things then matched out of the room.
"Two weeks?, That's so fast", I turned to Idris.
"Yeah it is but am happy", He pulled me more closer to him then ran his hand on my belly.
"What did Zara whisper in your ear that made your eyes widen", Just as I was resting in his embrace, his words immediately pulled me back to reality.
"No.... Nothing, I just need to go and talk to her", I shook my head with a mischievous grin on my face.
"Seriously?", His brows raised up.
"Yeah", I said as I stood up from the bed.
"What?", My mouth fall open when I stared down at my body. Besides the expected swollen belly, I had spider veins all over my swollen legs. With eyes wide, I examined my body. The belly that carried twins was making the baggy t-shirt short and I could see the spider veins on every part of my body.
"You need my help?", Idris's voice made me turn my attention to him.
"No, just shocked that I have these spider veins and...... I don't feel back pain" ,
"You possess magic", He spoke while walking to me.
"Come over let me walk you to where Zara is",
