Chapter 137 leaving him
There was a map on one of the roads l slowly walked past. It pinpointed the current location. I felt like choking myself when I read it. This Kyrgyzstan was close to Kazakhstan and all in all I was in China far away from the United States. Great l was totally stranded. No one here spoke English and the one I heard were speaking thick accents of some sorts making English sound like a foreign language to me.
I didn't understand any word that was coming out of their mouth. For some reason the idea of calling the police came in my head but I shook it away. I didn't want to call and let Jack that son of a bitch know that I was stuck in a foreign country. I tried to look for some American passengers but everyone l met shook his or her head telling me that he didn't understand the language and some we're rushing to catch their next flight.
Most of them paid no attention to me and opted to avoid me then go in the public of people. It was as if l was cursed. Ever since I was forcefully married to Jack, life became worse. My best friend betrayed me and then just as l was trying to accept the fact that I was the one fated to be with Idris, l ended up being drugged.
"There gat to be a kind hearted person in here", l murmured to myself as I looked at the different people.
I walked caring less but then gradually my time ran out before l realized it. The clock showed that it was past midnight and the people in the airport had dwindled to almost no one. It became rather ghostly in my area meaning that there were no flights coming from United States of America. Noticing that there was no around, l walked back to the bathroom and showered myself.
I ended up standing in my lace thong and bra as I washed my clothes. The water that came out of the clothes as l wrung them almost made me to throw up again. The yellow liquid was rancid and took almost 5 times before the water came out clean. My hands felt like they would fall off and they burned a lot because of the scratches and cuts on my knuckles. They we're slowly healing though and I was thankfully happy that l was chosen by the moon goddess. Wounds healed faster.
Another complaint l had was the faucets. They only stayed on for several seconds before shutting off due to sensors and the need to save water these days. They were saving water. I silently shook my head and powered through everything, cleaning the rest of my body with my newly cleaned t shirt.
I wasn't an exhibitionist but now I didn't care. Cleaning the piss and semen from my clothes was the only thing on my mind. After what felt like hours , l finished cleaning all my body, hair and undergarments while standing in wet clothes, the hand dryers were pretty useful at this moment.
I used it to dry my undergarments and clothes. After that I squated underneath the hand dryers until my legs got numb but it was because I wanted to dry my hair. Other than my current predicament in looking for someone who spoke English there was another problem at a moment. I was starving. From all the traveling, l realized that l must have been left unfed for 3+ days.
The little food shops were closed. My stomach was growling like a wild animal. Though shaking I kept my head held high. As minutes went, l found the hunger unbearable. Without thinking l walked to the trash can, picked up the cold and the slightly stale leftover of a hamburger then took a big bite. I was so hungry. I ate the whole hamburger caring less about the fact that it was cold and stale.
I ate the half eaten bag of chips and half of the bagel too. After almost 6-8 hours of trying to sleep, an airport security guard walked to where l was. I did see him but I didn't move from where I remained seated. "What's the problem young lady?", He asked. He was in his 40-50s and his English was rather broken.
"I have been watching you the whole evening, is there anything you want me to help you with", He went on when I didn't respond to him sooner. Ignoring people was now part of me. Ever since Amanda betrayed me, l started to have trust issues but this old man seemed kind. "Am hungry", l spoke that in a croaky voice. I didn't think it was necessary for me to tell him about my CV.
"Come over and follow me, l have a friend who has a food shop", He responded and at that l did it wordlessly. While in the food shop, the lady who was in was also ince and spoke some fluent English. "Thanks so much but do you mind borrowing me with your phone", l said after eating the burger the lady had given me.
I wracked my brain for people to call as soon as the old man helped me with his phone. My options were kind of limited. I didn't know Idris's number, Amanda betrayed me and my last option was Ashley. I honestly thought that she wouldn't pick up the call but after the third ring, she answered.
When she finally picked up l heard the loud screeching of her two cats.
"Ashley it's me Raelynn", l introduced myself quickly.
"Raelynn? My goodness l knew it that you would finally escape, where are you now?", Her question made me swallow saliva down my throat.
"Ashley am in China, am stuck help me", I went on with telling her my current situation.
"What! Raelynn how the hell did you end up in Kyrgyzstan?", She asked disbelieving everything.
"I need a passport, get me a passport", l spoke.
"Where should I get it from?"
At that l went on and told her everything. The only sad was that my passport was in Jack's house. I didn't leave with it when he sold me to the werewolves. Ashley told me that Amanda put all my belongings in one of the storage rooms and she promised me that she will go and lol for it.
After that I turned on the WiFi on the phone and went looking for an airline that accepted payment through PayPal. I managed to find one and l purchased an airplane ticket to the United States of America.
I waited at the airport for almost five days before the passport came. Throughout this time I was staying with the kind hearted lady known as Chen Wei. It almost took me a week before I stepped foot back in the United States of America.
