Chapter 100 so harmful

Chapter 100 so harmful
"Raelynn I hate begging but if you need me to get down on my knees and plead with you to go then I will do it. I won't be able to focus on what is coming with you here," Idris's voice pulled me out of my reverie.

"But it's you who said that am your mate and as a Luna I should always be on your side. Why can't I stay with you right now?, ... I don't want to leave you, I know how weak the wolfsbane made you become," My voice cracked at the end and tears threatened to spill as I rested my head on Idris's chest, gripping him tighter as if he was my lifetime.

"You right Raelynn. I know but am sorry. I don't want to put my babies' lives in danger," His hands cradled my face and his thumb wiped away a stray tear on my cheek before lowering to trace my bottom chapped lip. "There's nothing to forgive," I stood on the tips to kiss him gently but he pushed our lips harder together in a passionate kiss that took my breath away.

"There are boats on the shore. For now I just want you to get away from the island where the dead can't follow you. Can you do that?" His head was resting on my forehead and I was so wrapped up in him. I wanted him so badly and I didn't want to lose him. The knot in my chest was pulling me to him and every fiber in my body was screaming at me to stay at his side.

I could feel it. Neither of us wanted to part now that we were together again. "I don't know where Zara is," I whispered in a soft voice. "Am gonna look for her, you need to leave darling," He pulled away and urged me to move in the shore's direction where the boats were. Our eyes locked and neither of us wanted to part.

"Keep our babies safe," He whispered then pulled me for one last soul-shattering kiss. "Promise to come back to me," Tears were freely flowing down my cheeks now and I didn't bother to hide them away or wipe them away. "I will Hun," When he let me go, my eyes suddenly refocused on the world around me.

Bodies of the dark Werewolves were jerking upright and shambling towards us. The vampires and the purple-eyed witch were lighting them on fire and tearing them into pieces. We separated in time for Idris to lash out at the mutilated man shambling towards where we were embracing ourselves.

Cold blood splattered from the bodies and torn limbs flew through the air. All around me, I could now smell the burning of flesh and hair; and it was a disgusting scent. Smoke from the charred monsters was billowing in the air. Every time a corpse fell, another rose from the ground to take its place.

All Brian's dark Werewolves I had killed in the blizzard were coming back against their will to fight on the whim of a wicked necromancer. "Raelynn go," I was lost in what was happening that I didn't realize it had rooted me in place. I only came back to reality when Idris called me before he lunged at the three-legged wolf's corpse.

My legs turned on their own and before I knew it, I was rushing towards the distant shoreline. It wasn't a large island, just something small and relatively abandoned. Getting to the little dock where dark Werewolves left their boats was easy enough. The entire time the sound of fighting raged behind me and each step further away hurt me to my core.

Idris and his friends came here to rescue me but I was running away from the fight. Even though it was for the right reason, it felt wrong to leave them behind. I had a feeling that this new magic I possessed might help again. My head and heart were warring with each other with each step I took onto the wooden dock.

My eyes glanced over at the few boats still floating at the dock. The blizzard had ravaged most of them and even the dark water in the distance still appeared to be suffering from whatever the storm had brought to the surface. The clouds were dark and the light of the day was slowly fading away as the sun was setting.

The remaining light coming in through the clouds was illuminating wild waves and the sight churned my stomach with nerves. I didn't know how to use a boat and this was the worst time to figure it out. At least one boat looked untouched enough from the storm to make it back to the mainland.

Before I could set one foot in the boat, the sound of the banshee shriek snapped my attention back towards the war with the undead. My saviors seemed unharmed as they decimated the creatures coming towards them. As I looked at them, I felt a moment of relief but that didn't last long as I found the source of the scream in the necromancer who had come out in whatever hole she had been hiding in.

Her gaze seemed to be locked on Idris where he fought with a partially transformed Werewolf that was missing half of his face and one of his limbs. Idris snapped the head from the beast and as soon as it dropped down on the ground, the purple-eyed witch covered it in dark flames.

The vampires and Idris both looked up at the screaming necromancer just as she rose her hands in the air. Black smoke followed her movements, rising like dark mist from the earth into inky tendrils. It snaked up her sides until when the smoke reached her hands.

She cupped the dark substance and pulled it into a ball at her chest. Idris crouched and readied himself to attack the necromancer but I felt my heart beat faster at the sight.

The dark necromancer pulled her hands apart then motioned as though she was shaping a black orb then pointed it in Idris's direction.

"Noo," My legs began to tremble as I watched.
