Gazed

CHAPTER 5:

My eyes were glazed as I heard that word. My heart stopped for a moment and then it beat wildly for her.

"Fuck!" I said out loud as I couldn't take my eyes off her. Her scent intoxicated me and I couldn't get enough.

The elevator was about to close up but then I still didn't move from my place.

"Boss, are you okay?" She asked, out loud. Her voice made me shiver and due to her worry, she squeezed herself between the elevator wall before the doors closed.

Immediately, she touched my arm and I shivered.

"Emma..." I said, in a deep tone. I couldn't resist my attraction toward her and all I wanted to do was push her to the wall and kiss her.

On the other hand, my wolf shouted and longed for his mate, continuously.

Immediately, I pushed Emma to the wall and pressed the stop button of the elevator.

"You look so beautiful..." I said, in a mesmerized tone as I looked into her eyes.

Slowly, Emma's face turned red as she couldn't keep her gaze.

"I..I.." She stuttered and her lips quivered.

I couldn't resist and immediately I pushed forward and pressed my lips against hers. I could feel my wolf howl in my head as soon as I made sufficient contact with my mate.

Slowly, Emma's hand wound around my neck as she kissed me back with as much intensity I gave.

Her lips were supple against mine and I couldn't get enough.

Taking her bottom lip in mine, I sucked against it and then pushed against her. Our bodies were glued.

After a long while, I broke the kiss and Emma's red face and swollen lips came into view.

My glazed eyes turned clear and swiftly I stepped back.

I looked at Emma who had opened her eyes. She was surprised at the way I was quick to step away from her.

"What did we just do?" I asked, touching my lips lightly. Deep down in my heart, I know I didn't regret what I did but then it felt like I was defiling my relationship with Mia.

"I..I.." Emma tried to answer as she stuttered but then I shook my head and immediately punched the elevator button.

A few minutes later, the doors opened up and I was quick to walk out.

"Boss!" Emma called out to me but I paid a deaf to her.

My heart beat for her and I couldn't deny it. The fact that she's my mate now was a surprising thing?

Why didn't I sense the bond earlier? Even though she's my mate, I still couldn't comprehend the thought of leaving Mia.

At this point, I realized that I wanted both ladies.

From behind, I could hear Emma's clicking heels as she ran after me.

Immediately, I dashed into my office, trying to avoid her. My door shut but I didn't fail to hear her voice.

"Boss!" She called out again, in a meek and worried tone and I gritted my teeth.

I wanted to go out to her and embrace her. Suck her in my arms until we are merged as one.

"Fuck!" I cussed, slamming my fist against my desk.

I could still sense her presence from behind the door.

I could smell her intoxicating scent and it was driving me crazy.

Without thinking twice, I walked toward my desk and opened up the security footage on my computer.

Immediately, I saw Emma pacing before his office door.

She was about to knock on my door but then she hesitated.

I had a clear view of her and I could see the tears that had stained her cheeks.

"What should we do?" I asked, my wolf. I was starting to wonder why the Moon Goddess would bestow me with another mate while I had one already.

"Go get our mate!" My wolf affirmed and I groaned.

"What about Mia? She is ours too. I can't let her down." I said, in a worried and guilty tone.

"Well, you have let Mia down already. You already kissed our mate and you loved it. Get things going. We will explain to Mia later on." My wolf said, however, his last sentence sounded mysterious to me.

My wolf was pushing to go after our mate and I couldn't resist the temptation, immediately, I walked toward the door and opened it up.

My eyes spotted Emma who was starting to walk away and my eyes narrowed.

Swiftly, I grabbed her and dragged her into the office.

"Ahhh..." She screamed as she was caught off guard by my actions.

"Relax!" I said to her but there was a frightened look in her eyes. However, as I held her gaze, her look turned into a hurtful one.

"Just let me go, boss. I do not want to cause any more trouble." She said, in a meek tone. Her hands entwined before but it only worked to push up her breasts for my view only.

I could hear my wolf groan in pleasure due to Emma's look before us. However, I shook my head to get that thought out of my head.

"Relax, Emma." I said, holding onto her hand. I felt sparks immediately and I could see it in her eyes that she felt the same way too.

The mate bond was affecting her and as she looked into my eyes, she couldn't resist. She moved toward me and wound her hands around my waist.

I couldn't push her away and immediately, she placed a soft kiss on my lips.

She was about to pull away but I held her down, peppering her with hot kisses.

She had ignited a new fire in me and it wouldn't quench.

"Emma..." I said, in a deep and mesmerizing tone, causing her to shiver in my arms.

"Boss, I'm sorry, I..I do not know what came over me." She said, in a shaky tone. She tried to turn away but I held onto her chin while I looked straight into her eyes.

"You're my mate, Emma!" I dropped the bombshell and her eyes widened in surprise and confusion.
