Beta Bryan knocked at Luna Elena's door. And she asked who it was.

"It's me, beta Bryan" he replied, and she let him in.

"Beta Bryan, why are you here at this time? What do you need?" Luna Elena asked, wondering why he suddenly showed up in her room.

"You Majesty. I don't know if you are aware, but the thing is that I told Alpha Marcus about building a barrier before the war started, thinking he would vet the idea, but he declined it. I know I should have spoken to you earlier about this. But I couldn't get to that conclusion, not until the arrival of Prince Roger. Who gave me an idea of what could prevent the barrier from falling even if they tried to break it down?" Beta Bryan said. Luna Elena seemed interested.

"That's a great idea, so what is the thing that would prevent the barrier from falling? Tell me, I want to know" she asked, and there was a long silence.

",I have not told this to anyone; I want it to be between the three of us. For me, you, and Prince Roger, it's just a means of protection for our pack. If we allow his Majesty to be aware, he will use this as a means to attack them with great force" Beta Bryan said, keeping his voice low.

"And what is the thing that could prevent the barrier from falling?" She demanded.

"For this to happen, we need something very important from a Luna from this pack, but there's no other Luna except for you; you are the only Luna we had in this pack. With my sincere loyalty. I don't know, but I wish you could consider this for the sake of this pack." Beta Bryan said this with his head down and his voice low.

"Then what sacrifice will they have to make for the barrier to break?" She demanded,her voice filled with determination.

"Only one of their Lunas can give up her life, and we both know Alpha Nathan very well; he's not going to sacrifice any of his Lunas." Beta Bryan said, and Luna Elena nodded negatively.

"What if I say I am against the idea? That will give more power to His Majesty, seeing as his subjects are being protected. He Will hurt for the other packs, which is trying to seek power aggressively. So I am against it. I want him to try His best as a leader to protect his pack," Luna Elena said, changing her mind.

"But Luna Elena,I thought you were going to support this. To protect this pack, "Beta Bryan said, unsure if it's really Luna Elena speaking.

"I know how gullible my Alpha is. He said he could protect everyone. I want to see how capable he's. I want to see how he does that. I won't watch him destroy other packs while I help him. We are going to protect the pack, but probably not with this idea. I am sorry for not vetting this. And again, to save Luna's life in the future, I have to do this. Someone like Emma can give up her life for the pack," Luna Elena said, not ready to agree to his idea.

"She's not a wolf; only a wolf luna can do that" he replied.

"I don't still like the idea"she said reluctantly, and he hummed.

"I guess I supported Elena's idea. I just spoke with Alpha Marcus. He's not ready to give in. And I can see he's trying to look for an ally. If we make that barrier,it will make his wings grow and he can tackle other packs. We will all look like bad people to other packs. I think we should try another method, but the barrier shouldn't be an option" Prince Roger said, coming inside without knocking.

"Prince Roger, you are here" Luna Elena asked, her voice meek.

"I am sorry for not knocking; I had you conversing with Bryan, and that's why I decided to come inside" he apologized.

"That's not a problem; I am sorry for his highness's behavior at that time. I guess he felt you were back to challenge him. He never knew your true intentions." She apologized for his behavior.

"It's not a problem; in fact, I am just coming from his room. We spoke already, but the thing is that he had refused to stop this war. So I guess he have to learn the right way. I will go to Alpha Nathan's pack tomorrow, and we shall talk. But that barrier is a bad idea; we might regret it later. So I suppose we find another way to protect the pack" he suggested.

"So do you have any plans? Beta Bryan asked.

"I don't have any plan for now, but when I come back from my meeting with Alpha Nathan tomorrow,I shall see what we can do. But this war has to stop at any cost. I don't want to know how it will happen, but we must stop this war, "Roger said with determination in his face.

"Did you think that would be possible? Alpha Marcus has elders who are backing him up. For us to be able to stop the war, we have to win the elders quorum to our side and make them see why we don't need this war. But I guess this will not be possible. As most of them are only callous and are following him gullibly for their own selfish interests," Beta Bryan said.
